1995 Saturn SL 2 4 Door Automatic Car For Sale... we are the second OWNERS, bought used back in 1999 at Liberty Lincoln Mercury ~ we have had it for 16 years. It is a 4 door comes with lots of options & has been a VERY dependable car. The inside is clean, the seats are leather, but the driver & passenger seats are worn (leather torn, exposed foam) which is why I have two brand new seat covers on them. Never garaged and unfortunately that is why the leather did not hold up as well - the back seat is still good with some very minor wear. The floor mats are the originals, driver's side floor mat is worn, others look very nice. The outside paint still looks great, a few small dings, mainly to the hood - which have been touched up. The spoiler's clear coat is worn off, but you really can't notice. It has never been in a wreck. Selling because we are downsizing vehicles. Has 181,233 miles, automatic transmission, A/C - does not work - may be a minor fix - not sure - we just roll the windows down. Has power windows and locks, tape player with radio. Has a power sunroof, but we have had trouble with it closing - so we do not use it anymore - you can still open the slide cover to let light in. It does burn some oil, I check it about every 500 miles and add 1/2 quart to a full quart of oil. I have been using it to drive back and forth to work and it has been a terrific car. I have the owner's manual & all repair/maintenance information. It has always had a regular oil change & been well maintained. 1999 Honda Prelude Base Coupe 2-Door 2.2L This has been my personal car for about 2 years. It is running fine and has no problems that prevents it from being used for transportation. It has never broken down, and I am only selling it because I needed a bigger vehicle. Are far as I know there are no major engine problems, however there are some smaller issues that you need to be aware of. I have been told that the following mechanical items have issues or need replacement: rotors, shocks/struts, front axels. As noted above, the suspension on this vehicle needs work. In addition, the vehicle has been lowered, therefore I wouldn't recommend driving the car on large stretches of highway until you get the suspension fixed. It does not take big bumps well at high speeds. In general, it just doesn't take big bumps well (railroad tracks, large inclines, etc.). I haven't had problems driving the car in the city and on short spans of highway. There is usually only a problem once you get around 65-70 mph and hit a dip in the road. The shocks don't handle it well. In addition to the mechanical issues listed above, the vehicle has the following cosmetic/electrical/other issues: front blinkers not working (crack in left one), crack in front windshield, belt squeals for a few seconds when you crank the car (longer if the AC is on), tear in driver-side floor mat (2-3 inches), piece broken off inside driver door handle (still works), outside driver handle doesn't sit flush after released. Aside the the issues above, everything on the car works. The paint is chipping in some places and there is normal wear as you expect from a used car.

We purchased this vehicle after it was donated to charity. It was all original, clean inside and in running condition when we bought it but needed some normal service and some cosmetic refurbishing. From reviewing the Carfax report, it looks as if this 300D was well maintained by a Mercedes dealer at least for the last 14 years. Our work began with a standard Diesel service - oil change, valve adjustment, air filter, fuel filters, and Diesel purge. Other repair/wear items included: new water pump, both tie rods & sway bar links, followed by alignment, hood pad, ignition switch, a/c compressor, switches & receiver drier; state safety inspection. Once the service was complete, the exterior trim was removed and the entire car was painted in 3M base/clear. The result is a clean, good looking vehicle that runs & drives as it should. Diesel Mercedes in general, but especially the models equipped with the 5 cyl turbo engine have proven to be extremely durable, long lasting vehicles capable of very high mileage, all while consistantly getting 25mpg (or better) As stated, this example is in good condition, but it is not perfect. Like most of these cars with a blue dash, this one is cracked. It's unfortunate and the cover options do not look much better so we left it stock. The faces of the window switches are worn off. There is a nick in the vinyl on the passenger seat. The cover for the first aid kit has deteriorated in the sun. The radio antenna does not go all the way up. Two pieces of aluminum trim on the grill are not straight. While none of these items are major or keep the car from working, we like to disclose as much as possible. An important note about the deposit: We try very hard to accurately represent our vehicles.
