1971 AMC Ambassador 360 Brougham 77K miles, V-8, Automatic, AC, PS, PB. NO SMOG TEST NEEDED!!! This cruiser is beautiful inside and out, interior is like new with exception of driver's interior pull handle, exterior is in excellent condition, engine purrs. All original paint and factory installed accessories. AC blows cold. Radio, lights, horn, signals, etc all work, all original. Starts and runs excellent. Shifts smoothly. Steering nice and tight. Exhaust sounds like tuned pipes. Needs nothing, ready to drive to work or cross country. I bought this California beauty from original owner's estate a few weeks ago. He had it since new back in 1971. Registration good till August 2015. Clear title in hand. $5400 or make me a reasonable offer. Please scroll down for more photos. CONDITION: I bought this beauty from the original owner's estate a few weeks ago. He had it since new back in 1971. Appears to be all original, inside and out. Paint is in amazing condition. Right rear door jammed shut, I didn't want to risk damaging it, leaving for new owner. The vinyl on the interior of the driver's door pull handle is coming loose, doesn't appear to be torn, looks like in can be reglued, again, leaving for new owner. Very very little rust. Engine starts right up and transmission shifts smoothly. The trim ends are loose on a couple pieces. Really in excellent overall condition, amazing considering it's age. All the dash controls work, even the cigarette lighter. Clock doesn't work, maybe a fuse? AC blows cold. Factory installed AM radio works. Tires are at about 75%. New battery, starter, oil pressure sending unit. Fresh oil and filter. Ready to drive home. Clean pink slip in hand.

67 AMC Ambassador DPL OEM V8 343 Carter 4-Barrel Carb, Posi rear-end 53k Original milesThis Ambassador is for the most part all original…though it has newer exhaust and tune up parts replaced. The rockers are rusty and there is some rust on the body. See photos. Everything in this car is original including the radio. Not only is everything OEM but it all works as it should. The car was driven all summer as a nice weather daily driver. At the end of the summer I bought this car from my friend as he needed a winter car and I had some money available and I have an eBay account with PayPal and he does not. I bought it from him with the intention of selling it for him. Obviously winter is approaching and now is a bad time to sell a car like this but I figured I’d throw it out there and see if anyone is interested. If I sit on it until Spring I will be asking more and won’t be as flexible on the price. I do not NEED to sell it as I have storage room available. The car runs and drives great. The only negative is rust. The interior is very nice and complete. The engine is unmolested and runs fine. The car does not drip or burn oil. I have not had time to wash/wax the car so it is being listed looking kind of dirty. I also have not vacuumed the interior and there are some pebbles and the usual dirt on the floor. The interior is very nice and the carpet is nice as well. Come take a look, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. I would trust driving this car back home to anywhere in the US. Newer belts, hoses, and exhaust. Recent rear shocks and springs. 2 new tires. Bucket seats. Console. Working AM radio with reverb. Newer ignition coil. Newer water pump. Brakes are good. Car does not pull and tracks nice. Newer alternator. Recent tune up. Basically everything that was looking aged was replaced with the tune up this last spring. Brand new battery. Negatives Rust as seen in photos and under rockers Needs AC compressor

I am the second owner of this classic beauty. She is a 1966 Turquoise blue inside and out AMC Ambassador. One of very few left in the world. Well maintained, and only a little over 46,000 miles. Just had new stabilizer bars done, new fuel pump, rebuilt starter and solenoid. Points and brakes were also checked and needed no adjustment.

Here is a very nice 67 Ambassador that was bought from the original owner. Very clean car with no rust and a nice interior. It is a bucket seat and console car the only wear is on the drivers seat. Has all new brakes wheel cylinders and tires. The original owner said the engine and transmission were rebuilt around 30,000 miles ago but can't confirm he didn't have any paper work. The car runs shifts and drives great. Would be something different at the car shows. Please ask questions I don't want any surprises for you or me. Thank you for looking!!

Hello, Up for auction is a 1965 Rambler Ambassador 990 4 door sedan. This is a real rare find. This was a one owner car until a friend purchased the car in 2002. I bought it from him three years ago. The car was purchased new in Tampa FL in 1965. I have most of the paperwork including the original Bill of Sale, copy of the original title and records of maintenance. This car is loaded with options. Original 327ci , 270hp factory Holley 4 Barrel carb, automatic, twin grip rearend drivetrain with 59215 miles. The car is also optioned with Air Conditioning (needs servicing), Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Windows, Solex Glass, AM/FM Radio that works, Wire Wheel Covers, Tilt, Door Edge Guards, Vent Visors on the doors. All original equipment. Seats still have plastic covers on them. Front seat plastic is cracking though. I was going to remove them but thought I would leave it original. Some of the recent repairs have been. Brand New Platinum 7-Year Battery last weekend, Rebuilt the Carb, Tune-up, Complete new Brakes. Master Cylinder, Brake Booster, All Shoes, Wheel Cylinders, Hardware Kits. Power Steering Pump and Steering Gear. Shocks all the way around. NOS Right Front Fender painted and installed. Like new Radial Tires. The car runs smooth and doesn’t burn oil. Drives great as well, goes straight down the road. Very quiet as well. No rattles. If you close your eyes you would never know you are riding in a classic car. All the lights work inside and out. Power Windows work great. All glass is in good condition. The car is from FL so very clean body. Will need some tinkering inside, mainly carpet, door windlace, drivers side visor. The paint is a little darker on the new fender. The paint on the rest of the car is average condition. Looks good for a driver. Floors and Trunk are solid. The trunk has some rusty stained areas in a few places. Same with the front floors. The carpet underlayment is exposed which is shown in the pic. Windshield wiper motor is weak. Two others are included. The entire heating and A/C isn’t operational either, it is complete but needs to be gone through. It never mattered to us as we have only driven it on nice days anyway. Includes a lot of extra rambler parts as well as a 1965 Motors Repair Manual and Rambler Literature. On Jul-24-14 at 17:41:21 PDT, seller added the following information: I forgot to mention that I have a new reprint of the Factory Rambler Shop Manual. Also a couple of fellow AMC ebayers from Wisconsin stopped over and looked at the car last weekend. They both thought my description was accurate and I represented the car very well. They even enjoyed taking the car for a ride. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car anywhere. Thanks!

Rare twin stick, one owner, barn find. Car was last licensed in 1984 and has just been brought out of a 30 year sleep. The car was taken into a shop and now runs and drives. The tires were put on in 1982 and should be replaced (they are bias ply). The car appears to have had 1 paint job and also had the front seats redone at some point. This is a rust free car-solid underneath. The rust shown in the quarters is not all the way through. This is a wonderful car to redo or drive as is. The hoses will need to be replaced as well as the belts. The car is in need of an antenna. It is equipped with PS, air (compressor kicks in-needs freon) and AM/FM radio. The title is clear and is in the original owners name as well as a death certificate as his wife signed off on it (she is in a nursing home). Beautiful chrome-never abused, 49 year old example of AMC. Feel free to call me at 701-205-6906 for any questions as well. Thank you.

This 1965 Rambler Ambassador is the top of the line car, with the most luxurious options and features available! It's the desirable 2 door hardtop body style, and, best of all, It has been in one family's care since it was purchased new in Texas in 1965! They took excellent care of this car, maintaining it properly and giving it some very expensive service, such as a rebuilt engine, rear axle, and much more! . It's beautiful in the original color of Frost White and 2 toned blue interior, a combination of dark blue and aqua that is very pleasing . this is the actual original window sticker, when Mr. John Hargrove of Ft. Worth, Texas bought the car new! . $3828 .15 was a lot of dough in 1965 ! . I love the profile of this car, especially with all the windows down! This car is Officially the Rambler Ambassador 990 H. Note the nice tailights with extra chrome trim, the trim on top of the fenders, the full Ambassador only wheelcovers, and some other things not visible in this photo. 287 V-8 Engine! Bucket Seats! Factory Air Conditioning! Power Steering and brakes! Padded sunvisors! Automatic Transmission! Heater! Radio! As you can see it's luxuriously equipped, much nicer than the run of the mill Rambler! . And here is the original Warranty card in the original owner's manual! I love it when these delivery documents survive! . . That's the original chrome and trim, and it's in excellent condition! . The Vice President of Automotive Sales of Rambler sent Mr. Hargrove a letter, thanking him for "Choosing Rambler for '65!" . . Quad Stacked Headlights, de riguer for the luxury car of the 1960's ! Cadillac Had 'em, and so do we! . Nice ! . . Although 1986 might seem like a long time ago, the engine was completely rebuilt with .030 overbore then. And, it has only travelled 13,000 miles since ! It's nice to have this documentation of the mechanical work. And, i can tell you the car runs beautifully, that engine runs great! . More recently, in 2001, the rear axle and torque tube were out and rebuilt. . . The paint job looks pretty recent, and it's a good commercial paint job in the original color, and color sanded and buffed, and looks sharp. Not perfect but nice. . Another great Ambassador Feature - the 6 bar trunk trim that matches the tail lights! And those tail lights are beautiful too, nice and clear. . Nice tail lights! The chrome is really good original on the bumpers and trunk trim. . this car has one of the nicest original interiors I've seen in a long time! It's just gorgeous! . Excellent doorpanels with beautiful wood trim accents. . The steering wheel is awesome, with brilliant colors and no cracks! This car was garaged for most of it's life, and it shows! . Wow! Almost like being at the Rambler dealer! . Another sign of the car leading a good life - excellent seat backs, done in plastic, that are sharp and clean. Also note - Bucket seats! . When we got the car, we had the front seat cushion bottoms re-done in the exact original fabric from SMS auto trim. Everything else is original! The carpeting is awesome for being original, but it does show some age. . The back seats are all original, with just a hint of splitting at the center seam, you can see it in this photo. . Beautiful dashboard. . there's a teeny crack in the dash, visible in this photo, a little to the left of the air vent. . Another sign of a well treated car - a nice original glovebox. . Those foam padded sunvisors were optional, and they're in excellent condition! . The 287 V-8 was completely rebuilt with receipts from 1986. it's only clocked about 13,000 miles since the work was done. It runs beautifully, nice, smooth, quiet and powerful. . Not show detailed, but all stock and correct. . Note the Factory A/C. It's all hooked up but doesn't blow cold air. . Gas tank was renewed / sealed, and you can see the clean rear axle housing - the recipient of a recent rebuild. The transmission was done too - it's a torque tube driveshaft. . super solid and rust free, a documented Texas car from new, and then about 15 years in sunny Southern California. . Clean and rust free! . I noticed some body filler used just ahead of the rear fender opening,. I also noticed 2 small dings in the left front fender. It's a good paint job, but not a perfect Pebble Beach quality effort. A nice car but not a show car. . Looks like they tried sealing the rear window gasket with a bit of Silicone. . Very clean and original trunk - that's the original floor mat! It's brittle but still the original one! . The trunk floopan is the original and really good, although it looks like some surface rust was sanded and painted over . . The reason this trunk mat stayed so nice? they custom made a trunk mat cover from indoor-outdoor carpeting! So when I threw that stuff out, this is what I found! I love obsessive original owners! . Beautiful Ambassador Hubcaps. Note the Eagle / Shield symbol of the Ambassador! . Here's a shot with the quarter window raised. . As we take the final view, notice the nearly new tires ! Offered by the Vault Classic Cars, Fullerton, CA. Please call us with any questions at 714-401-1047 . International customers are welcome to buy ! We’ve sent many cars overseas. This is my father's 1969 American Motors Corporation (AMC) Ambassador SST. With his passing, it is time to locate the third owner for this beautiful, garage kept, boulevard cruiser with the 390 cubic inch heart of an AMX. He is the second owner, having purchased the automobile from the original owner out of Georgia. While in may father's possession, he installed a new dash pad. He also had the original radio professionally converted to AM/FM. Lastly, he had the exterior repainted in the Original AMC White. This SST has the Black Vinyl top, blue crush velour interior, and White exterior. It is an 390 cu in engine with Automatic transmission. Duel exhaust gives away the power under the hood. Power Steering, Air Conditioning, and Power Brakes round out the options list. (Yes, the A/C works!) History: Both owners were Older Gentlemen who cared fastidiously for the Ambassador, Garage-kept since new, it was only driven on beautiful east coast days. The original owner purchased the car in Tennessee, Some years later, he moved to Georgia. It was in the late 1990's that my Father purchased it, The original owner even delivered the automobile from Georgia to my father's King George, County, VA home. Upon my father's passing, I brought it to Northern California where I have driven it infrequently when it is not tucked away in a garage.Receipts detailing the history back to the original owner's Tennessee purchase, through it's Georgia registration upon his move, to my father's work with the Ambassador will all convey to the next caretaker of this automobile. Please contact me with any questions. The Ambassador is for Sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the sale early should the SST sell. Thank you.
