I have a 1976 Amc Gremlin up for sale. It has a straight six engine and automatic transmission. Motor runs great and transmission is great. The mount came loose for the radiator on the bottom and the fan went into the radiator as you can see in the picture. This was my parents everyday driver up until last week when this happened. They've already spent a lot on this car and don't want to go any further. They are moving into a new home and are investing money into that instead. The headlights, tail lights, turn signals, hazard switch, horn, wipers, wiper sprayer all work. The car is ready to drive other than the radiator. They have put a new carb on 2yrs ago, new fuel pump and filters, new exhaust from the motor back and countless things replaced on the front end. They have all the receipts to show the work. The car has around 22,000 original miles. Has a lifter tick when its running that comes and goes but they have drove it like that for a long time now. Doesn't affect its ability to be driven. The frame is in excellent shape under the car. The body has had some bondo work done by my dad and I. Were not professionals but it looks pretty good. The passenger side has some dents on the door and rear quarter panel that you can see in the pictures. The front seat has tears in it mostly on the drivers side, back seat is in good condition. The carpet was pulled up in the front and work done on the floor pans. Rear drivers side floor pan could use some attention still. There is no radio in the car. The ceiling has a whole up above the rear view mirror but the rest is in decent shape. Bumpers are both in good shape, grill is in good shape as well. Still has the original gremlin gas cap. Clean and clear title, no liens. Title will be signed off on pick up. Car is also being listed locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time! About everything on this car is new. NO rust ever. Project almost finished, still needs dash installed, wiring finished and exhaust, plus other little things. 302 C/4 Ford with about 5k miles. Factory Kidney Bean wheels, with Volcano Caps with factory lug nuts included. It is a factory AC, PS, PB car. Just about everything on this car is new, boxes of extra new and used parts. Needs floor boards in front. Runs great. Has crown Vic wheels n tires but I have some some amc wheels came off a rambler for it. New battery. New valve cover gasket. Clean carb. Has rear window but not factory.orange with bondo. Has rust on bottom. Including on bottom of doors. Great fixer upper!!

Super clean 1972 Gremlin with x- trim. Original paint is very presentable, stripes are showing signs of wear but I must say you won't find a cleaner rust free example anywhere!!! The undercarriage is awesome, beautiful custom 3 inch exhaust with cut outs.The power plant is 360 Amc bored to 372cubic inches, 11:1 compression , ported and polished heads, 497 lift solid cam,Aluminum intake, Petronics ignition,headers, and it has a 1 wire alternator. The car also has power steering and it drives like new!! The original 4-speed was replaced with a 3-speed that shifts fine but grinds a little in second, if I were to keep it I would put a 4-speed back in.. The clutch and pressure plate are excellent. The car is very strong and as you can see from the pics very well detailed and sorted out. The front end was recently rebuilt and the front end was aligned. The rear end is a 12 bolt 4:10 posi. The car has a beautiful interior including matching tach and gauges. The car rolls on centerline auto drag wheels.If you've been looking for a quality gremlin look no further!! Rare twin stick, one owner, barn find. Car was last licensed in 1984 and has just been brought out of a 30 year sleep. The car was taken into a shop and now runs and drives. The tires were put on in 1982 and should be replaced (they are bias ply). The car appears to have had 1 paint job and also had the front seats redone at some point. This is a rust free car-solid underneath. The rust shown in the quarters is not all the way through. This is a wonderful car to redo or drive as is. The hoses will need to be replaced as well as the belts. The car is in need of an antenna. It is equipped with PS, air (compressor kicks in-needs freon) and AM/FM radio. The title is clear and is in the original owners name as well as a death certificate as his wife signed off on it (she is in a nursing home). My AMX is on the way so I would like to free up the shop some. ANYTHING INTERESTING TO TRADE? 1974 AMC Gremlin drag car. Photo shows an engine, but the engine and tranny are NOT included. Set up for small block chevy with 3 speed automatic. Sub frames properly connected by the roll cage. I had the local NHRA tech inspector go through the car. He requested some gussets be installed, which we did, and he certified the car for 10 second flat times. That is at my track-your track may be different. New front tires and new seat belts. The car was just painted also. I choose to just paint the hood without doing any bodywork to it and my plans were to add an aftermarket fiberglass hood later, so the hood is not in the best of shape. I have extra paint that goes with the car. The differential is a 9" Ford with 5:13 gears and 3 link ladder bar style rear suspension. Rear tires are 14 X 32. As you can see the car has also been lightened but I have not scaled it and estimate the weight at 2200 lbs. To hit the track, you will need an engine, transmission, finish a bit of the wiring and install new lexan windows. I have the old ones for the patterns, but they are really not usable-very scratched. Not sure what the axles are in the differental. This is a cool unique car but I have a nice AMC engine and am looking to switch to an AMX. There is no title available with this car.
