Overall, the condition of the car is good with no rust. I am the second owner having owned the car since 1995. As you can see in some of the photos, all original factory manuals and past receipts (from the late 1980's) will come with the car. The list of items that need attention have been mentioned above in the Condition Description. In addition to those, there are several other items of note that are mostly cosmetic: The rear passenger side has aftermarket wheel-well chrome molding. I have original molding that can be placed on the wheel-well with the proper screws There is a tear in the driver's side carpet near the accelerator The driver's side window does not travel up and down with ease, and the weather stripping as evident in one photo can use replacement The spare tire is original and never been used, it may or may not hold air Both the headlight knob and the gear shift ribber knob are easily to come off their post. Some glue or epoxy is recommended to hold them on tight The car as a whole can use new paint or a buffing job I will take cash payment in person or money order which must clear first. This is a Rare beautiful AMC 1977 Hornet AMX. It is restored and is in excellent condition inside and out. It has a 304 V8, power steering, power brakes, and front disc brakes. There is NO RUST and the paint and body are excellent. It has the original AMX mag wheels (5)and has new tires. This RARE AMX is like the one that was featured in Hemmings Muscle Machines Magazine July 2011 issue #94. The article has all the specifications and has some great pictures. You'll not be disappointed with this BEAUTY.

1956 Hudson Hornet built by American Motors Corporation, This classic beauty has 3-speed Hydroglide automatic transmission and a beast of a V-8. Runs strong and drives fine but definitely a restoration project. Exterior: Have most exterior chrome trim pieces. All original windows are operational with no cracks. Original curved windshield has vertical crack that looks to have been there a long time. Body is very straight with no dents, has rust in all the usual places. Needs work including: brakes, headlights, wipers, all lines and gaskets need to be checked, possibly replaced. Interior: recently reupholstered seat but still needs: door panels, headliner, door gaskets, etc. I bought it as a project for myself but just don’t have time to devote to it. 1975 AMC HORNETMERCEDES DIESEL ENGINE CONVERSIONThis is probably one of the rarest diesel conversions ever seen. The original purchaser of this Hornet did the conversion immediately after buying the car. It is mated to the AMC 3 speed manual transmission. It starts easy, idles well, runs like it should and stops good. Has power steering. Comes from down south so the body is still pretty good. Interior is very nice, all glass is good. Tires are OK. Lights work, wipers work, horn works. Radio works! Has heat, but the blower isn't blowing. Window washer, e-brake not working. This diesel hornet accelerates pretty well and travels at highway speeds with plenty of pedal left. Used to have working AC but was removed when the radiator was replaced and never put back on. All gauges work except temp gauge. Underside is unbelievably clean. Original owner kept this AMC for 35+ years! This is a great, unique AMC.
