Mod wise only couple have been put in. Adams Drilled rotors, Dension Gateway500 Interface for 1/8" or 32 pin jack. Ceramic brakes, timing chains redone [the most expensive job to redo on these has been done!], new headlights and grill, New interior buttons and MMI board replaced, Brand new set of Hancooks put on last spring. Put a lot of work into this but sadly the family is growing fast and we need a bigger car. Has received its 80k, 90k, and 100k mile tune ups. With all bulbs filters and fluids changed. Listed for sale, is this 2001 Audi A6 that's clean inside and out. However, the car is being sold so cheaply because it requires work. It cranks, but doesn't turnover, and my mechanic isn't quite sure what it is. He said it's very likely the computer, PCM, or brain, but since he's that skill when it comes to Audis, he's not 100% sure. The vehicle has been well maintained. The interior is in good condition, showing minimal wear and tear, and the exterior is also in good condition with minor scuffs/scratches. The tires aren't in good shape, and the car is missing the piece that holds the windshield wipers. Still, the car is a head-turner, and a possible steal. If you any questions, feel free to ask. Rare 6 speed manual. There aren't many of these cars around with a 2.7 twin turbo V6 and a 6 speed manual transmission. An internet search will show you exactly how rare this car is. This car has 146,000 miles and runs and drives great. It has power and handles like its on rails, yet still has great ride quality. The back seat is roomy and comfortable for adults. It has front and rear heated leather seats. It also has a Bose sound system and cd changer. It has a power moon roof and many other options. The check engine light is on which I was told it needs a mass air sensor, but it runs great so I haven't bothered to replace it. The ABS light is on too which I was told a wheel speed sensor is bad in the front. Again, the car runs and drives great so I haven't bothered fixing it. It has a ball joint or bushing squeak in the left front also. I recently had a new CV axle put and a new passenger side window regulator. The car is in great shape for being 14 years old. The only reason I'm selling the car is because I bought a newer truck.

I purchased this 2004 Audi A6 Quattro from the estate of the original, elderly owner when he passed away in 2009. The car had only 14,000 miles at the time, but since it was 5 years old, I had the dealer perform a timing belt service anyway. Another belt service was performed in 9/2014, so it's good to go for another 2.5 years. This car has been treated to Mobil 1 since I purchased it and was just serviced at 92,929 miles. Other than routine service, this car has been problem free for the past 8 years. No check engine light has EVER illuminated, no ABS/Brake lights, no Air Bag light...nothing. The only item that is currently questionable is the power steering which makes a moaning noise when it's below 45 degrees. It's 70 out today in NC and no noise. I had the pump replaced two years ago and someone told me if the shop didn't replace the PS fluid with the proper type, it could make noise when cold. I have upgraded the original 16" rolling stock to OEM 17" wheels and 235/45/R17 High Performance tires with over half the tread remaining. The Black Leather interior is almost perfect with one minor scuff on the rear seat bottom. All of the power options operate as they should with the exception of the CD player which has a disc stuck in it.
