This 2001 Audi S4 is the quintessential sleeper car that Audi fans know and love. This example is a 2001 in the classic German silver over black leather and wood grain interior accents. It was sold in CA and made its way to NC a few years ago. It only has 90,924 miles on it and just had all the major services completed.Engine & Drivetrain:The vehicle had been stored in our warehouse for a number of years. We decided to offer it for sale so we performed all the major services to pass along a solid car to the next owner. The timing belt was replaced, the valve cover gaskets were replaced (including the timing chain tensioner gaskets which are not included in most valve cover gasket jobs), the fuel pump replaced, the coolant tank was replaced and system flushed, power steering lines replaced and refilled, fresh brake fluid and a host of other maintenance items. The car starts easily, idles and runs great, no slipping in the clutch and the turbos are in great shape without any smoke at start-up or during operation. This is an unmolested example of Audi's classic four door turbo v6 sedan. It has never been lowered or chipped. The only modification are the tinted windows.Body:The exterior of the car is in great shape. Since the car is from CA and sat inside a warehouse since arriving from CA, there is virtually no rust on the car anywhere. The the front bumper has been replaced. It was badly damaged over the years so we decided to replace it rather than fix it. Used bumpers were in similar shape or had been poorly repaired. We ordered a brand new bumper from Audi and had it painted. We also painted the hood and fenders to match the fresh paint on the bumper. The rest of the car has great paint. There are a few spots on the rear bumper where it had been previously repainted. The car has just been detailed and a fresh coat of wax has been applied to seal the paint. The sale also includes a California weathershield car cover which was $289 new.Suspension & Brakes:The entire suspension & brake setup is OEM.Interior:The seats and carpet are in very good shape. There are signs of wear but no rips, tears or obvious signs of abrasion normally found on the edge of the drivers seat. The window switches and lock buttons are not excessively worn. 2010 Audi S4 Quattro Premium Plus in Brilliant Black (6-speed manual transmission), in excellent condition. This car runs well with no functional issues. No accidents. The exterior is in great shape, with only minor signs of wear (see Condition). The interior is in fantastic condition (no smoking). I purchased the car from a dealer in the summer of 2013, and added a supplemental tire & wheel road hazard protection program (NSD Complete Titanium Plus, transferable and good through August 2018; $1,500 value). I love this car, and am only selling because my new job includes a vehicle lease program and I can't justify keeping both cars.
