I have had this car for the past 5 years and still thoroughly love it. I'm selling it because I got impulsive and just bought a 2013 Audi A7. This '08 A6 is my 6th Audi, including an S6, an earlier A6 V8 and an A6 2.7T and it is the best one by far. I've never had more compliments on any car I've owned as I get on this car (including the 5 earlier Audi's, an Acura, a Sterling, 2 Corvettes and 3 Saabs). People come up to me all the time and tell me what a gorgeous car it is. The color, Misano Red, is very rare on A6's as it was an option exclusive to the full S-Line models. Audi offered an S-Line exterior option for the A6 which provided just badging and trim. But the full S-Line package included on this A6 has special unique sport seats, sport suspension, exclusive S-Line steering wheel and paddle shifters behind the wheel.It drives great and has been very dependable. With the V8 option this A6 is smooth, quiet, powerful and handles awesome. The quattro all wheel drive grips terrific in all weather. It is fully loaded with all the power options including factory voice-recognition GPS navigation, rain sensing wipers, power moonroof, power heated memory auto-dimming side mirrors, auto dimming rear view mirror, power front seats with 2 driver's seat memories, 3 homelink/garage door opener memories, full leather seats and adaptive cruise control. Lasers maintain the distance you set for cars ahead of you. The cruise control automatically slows down and will brake as necessary when you approach a slower vehicle ahead, then accelerate back to the speed you'd set if the vehicle ahead speeds up or you move into an open lane. This car also has the Adaptive High Intensity Discharge headlights with Projector Beam lenses. The headlights pivot with the steering so you see better around curves. The HID lights are bright and the adaptive light turning works great. It's spoiled me. I will never own a car without adaptive HID lights again. This has the warm weather package with a power rear window sunshade and manual sunshades on the back windows. It has the cold weather package with heated seats. This A6 has the optional 19 inch Audi sport alloy wheels. I had the alloy wheels custom finished in Black Hyper Chrome. Other Audi owners look, can tell they're factory rims but come up and say they've never seen the black chrome. They say they're really hot looking, were they available from Audi or where did I get them? All 4 alloy wheels are straight and true and in very good condition. There's a full-sized 19 inch spare tire on a matching alloy wheel also in Black Hyper Chrome. It has a large trunk plus split rear folding seats for tremendous carrying capacity. The rear seatback also has a ski pass through above the rear fold-down armrest. This car has the Bose digital surround sound system with AM/FM/Sirius XM satellite radio, a 6 CD changer and a digital hookup for iPod, a USB input for a hard drive or memory stick, and an auxiliary audio input too. The sound system sounds excellent, no problems. The car has central power locking with keyless entry, push button starting plus remote key trunk release. I have both working memory keys plus the manual valet key. This is a no smoking vehicle. The city mileage is 16-18 mpg, highway is 26-30 (true). The climate control/air conditioning works perfect. The Continental Extreme Contact DWS tires are practically new too. It has always had full synthetic oil always & it was just changed 700 miles ago. I also just replaced both front wheel bearings & brakes. It's in great condition, ready to go.
