Up for sale is my 1998 Toyota Tacoma Xtra Cab SR5 TRD. This has been a great little truck for us but I have switched jobs and the new one comes with a work truck. I have used this truck for the last few years as my work truck and have never had a single issue of any kind. It had the water pump and timing belt done for the second time at just under 190k and has a sticker on the cover with the exact miles when it was done. I was on a job in Colorado when I had it done by the dealer. It had a bedliner shot along the bottom half of the truck before I bought it and I put another coat on a couple months ago. Air blows cold, all options work as they should. Had the truck in Sacramento California just last month and it ran like a top. The only issue I know of is a slight power steering leak I have not found the time to locate the source of, it has been leaving a small spot where i park for about 3 weeks now and the reservoir is still 3/4 full so it is most likely a connection needs to be tightened. The airbag light has been on for about 14 years now and I am not sure if that means they will not work or what but never really bothered me so I never did anything about it. The seats are in need of a new set of seat covers as well as the fabric has been cut to repair cushion in the past and the seat covers I had on her are shot. Micky traded this car away in 1965 for a 1932 Ford Vicky and regretted it almost immediately. He searched for his original car for many, many years and kept running into dead ends and in 1995 decided to build a replica, located a Touring body and the journey began.The Touring body had the back removed and was painted a Chevy Skymist Blue and pinstriped by Art Himsl. The upholstery was done in white vinyl by Freddy Diaz at Concord Auto Upholstery. The dash was welded and molded in place. Correct vintage gauges installed. Period correct Bell steering wheel connected to a 1956 Ford truck steering box. 1939 Ford pedals. Finally channeled 7" and dropped on a shortened Model A frame. The engine is a 59 AB flathead with Edelbrock heads. Fuel delivery is handled by 4 chromed 97 carburetors (2 dummies) mounted on a very rare Baron Tattlersfield 4x2 aluminum intake manifold. Ignition is handled by a Mallory dual point distributor. Chromed waterpumps, a custom radiator and electric cooling fans keep the temperature in check. The exhaust system is comprised of chromed headers, pipes and Glaspac mufflers. The transmission is a 1939 Ford unit.The front suspension has a rare "Axle" Stewart chromed front axle. The rear is a chromed 1940 Ford unit with 3:78 gears. Rear brakes are 1940 Ford as well. Wheels are 7.50x16 tires on reversed 16" rims on the rear and 5.60x15 on stock style 15" rims on the front. The car was finished in time for the 50th Anniversary Grand National Roadster Show in 1999 and then basically put in storage from 2000-2014. In 2014 Mickey decided it was time to dust off and freshen up the "Moonshiner" for the 2015 indoor show season. The car was mechanically gone through including: new coil, distributor, battery, rebuilt waterpumps and completely rebuilt rear brake system. All fluids were changed and the car received a major detailing to show quality with paint and striping touched up by Brandon Flaner from East Bay Speed and Custom. All of the work paid off when the "Moonshiner" won first place in its class at both the Grand National Roadster show in Pomona and the Sacramento Autorama. Now, with another recreation in the works, Mickey has decided to let the "Moonshiner" go to a new home. This car runs and drives excellent with under 1,000 miles on it and couldn't be built for near the asking price. Currently titled and registered in California. Micky traded this car away in 1965 for a 1932 Ford Vicky and regretted it almost immediately. He searched for his original car for many, many years and kept running into dead ends and in 1995 decided to build a replica, located a Touring body and the journey began.The Touring body had the back removed and was painted a Chevy Skymist Blue and pinstriped by Art Himsl. The upholstery was done in white vinyl by Freddy Diaz at Concord Auto Upholstery. The dash was welded and molded in place. Correct vintage gauges installed. Period correct Bell steering wheel connected to a 1956 Ford truck steering box. 1939 Ford pedals. Finally channeled 7" and dropped on a shortened Model A frame. The engine is a 59 AB flathead with Edelbrock heads. Fuel delivery is handled by 4 chromed 97 carburetors (2 dummies) mounted on a very rare Baron Tattlersfield 4x2 aluminum intake manifold. Ignition is handled by a Mallory dual point distributor. Chromed waterpumps, a custom radiator and electric cooling fans keep the temperature in check. The exhaust system is comprised of chromed headers, pipes and Glaspac mufflers. The transmission is a 1939 Ford unit.The front suspension has a rare "Axle" Stewart chromed front axle. The rear is a chromed 1940 Ford unit with 3:78 gears. Rear brakes are 1940 Ford as well. Wheels are 7.50x16 tires on reversed 16" rims on the rear and 5.60x15 on stock style 15" rims on the front. The car was finished in time for the 50th Anniversary Grand National Roadster Show in 1999 and then basically put in storage from 2000-2014. In 2014 Mickey decided it was time to dust off and freshen up the "Moonshiner" for the 2015 indoor show season. The car was mechanically gone through including: new coil, distributor, battery, rebuilt waterpumps and completely rebuilt rear brake system. All fluids were changed and the car received a major detailing to show quality with paint and striping touched up by Brandon Flaner from East Bay Speed and Custom. All of the work paid off when the "Moonshiner" won first place in its class at both the Grand National Roadster show in Pomona and the Sacramento Autorama. Now, with another recreation in the works, Mickey has decided to let the "Moonshiner" go to a new home. This car runs and drives excellent with under 1,000 miles on it and couldn't be built for near the asking price. Currently titled and registered in California. Up for sale is a 1993 Dodge Ram W-250 Extended Cab Cummins Turbo Diesel. This truck has 216,000 original miles and runs better than new. It has had thousands of dollars invested in new parts and upgrades and was built with no expense spared. This has been cared for by one family since 1995 and it has been in Sacramento California since day one so there is no panel rust whatsoever. This truck has all the ideal upgrades and was built right. All mechanical work was done by the highly reputable IMLER Diesel shop in Sacramento. Upgrades and Parts include: * Rebuilt heavy duty transmission done at 212K miles * Rebuilt injection pump at 160K miles. * 40 HP injectors at 212K miles. * 16 MM Turbo Housing at 212K miles. * Brand new radiator and flushed system 200 miles ago. * Dual Steering Stabilizers. * Borgeson Steering Shaft and steering box. * 2" shackle leveling kit in the front. * Main crank seal just done. ZERO leaks. * Fresh valve adjustment. * 35" BF Goodrich A/T tires on the old school 16.5 rims. This is a 1993 so it's obviously not perfect. The body is in good shape considering the age. There are random dents and dings and the paint is peeling like all these First Gens do. There is some minor damage to the lower right rear fender caused by a flat tire. Please see pictures. The interior shows some wear but nothing of major concern. The headliner is sagging, carpet shows some stains, and the driver seat has a few burns in it, nothing a seat cover can't fix. I cannot stress enough how well this rig runs and drives.
