Hydraulic roller cam and valve train. Deco Remy electronic ignition. Electric fuel pump. Hooker Super Comp headers connected to Walker free flow exhaust. Thermostatically controlled cooling fan. 100 amp alternator. Vintage Old School rebuilt Turbo 375 transmission with stall converter. The Turbo 375 was a transmission used by GM in the “70’s, basically a Turbo 400 with less clutches. Ford 9” rear differential with Richmond 4.11 gears and full spool. Moroso Trick Springs in the front for maximum weight transfer. Heavy duty leaf springs in the back, with extended shackles that provide the nostalgic “California Rake”, the nose down, rear up drive height wildly popular in the ’60’s and ’70’s. Rear air shocks. Lakewood adjustable traction bars. Frame ties. Four wheel disc brakes with adjustable proportioning valve. Front tubular A arms with greasable polyurethane bushings. Undercarriage is clean and nicely detailed in black. You can drive this car without spending hours cleaning the undercarriage when you are done. Still nice enough to take it to a car show. ...............1970 Buick Skylark GS 455 factory 4 speed with a/c & 1970 Skylark Custom Convertible with the SP 350 engine option.............I'm moving next spring and have decided to sell off these two rare projects. And projects they truely are !!! ....what a great package deal !! The first car is a big block 4 speed GS from 1970. I've got the build sheet and it shows it came with a M20 transmission and also came with air conditioning. It is a factory Sherwood Green car with Pearl White interior. The engine is rebuilt and has never been started. The heads have been upgraded to Stage I specs. Camshaft is called a Hemi Killer ...double roller timing chain set and some upgrades to the oiling system ...we didn't have to bore it out so it has the stock pistons in it. There is a pair of old school aluminum finned Edelbrock valve covers covering the stock rocker arms. Also equipped with an aluminum Edelbrock Performer intake manifold. I've got a set of used chrome headers that go with the car also...The seats have been reupholstered and look real good. I had the chrome pieces replaced also. I have new door panels and rear panels. The air cleaner assembly is in great shape. The car comes with a complete exhaust system (stainless steel 2 1/2 inch pipe) ....also have a 10 bolt posi rearend with new Detroit Locker and 3:55 Richmond gears ...the original 3:42 rearend is still on the car ...flywheel was machined years ago and has just been sitting ...Muncie transmission is bolted to engine and both are just laying in the engine compartment. I have a Hurst shifter also. I've got some good tail lights too...both bumpers are in pretty good shape..the grille is in good shape with some scuffs at the bottom of it. I believe the right front fender to be original to the car. The left fender is off of a parts car of mine. I've got some black carpeting for the car that was installed new in another GS but removed and it is in good shape. Also a roll of sound deadner. The front suspension is new but not together at this time. This car was built in California and shipped to Utah. I don't think this car has ever seen salt. The undercarriage is in great shape. If you have interest your best bet is to call me and ask questions ......my number is 719-217-8224 ....this car has been in the garage for almost 7 years now and will take me a few to get the suspension back on so as to make it a roller for whomever picks it up .... The Buick convertable is equipped with the SP 350 motor (GS engine) 315 horsepower high compression motor. It runs good but this car has been sitting for some time so a tune up might be in order. the automatic transmission shifts in reverse but there are no forward gears. I've got a receipt showing the transmission to have been rebuilt recently. The previous owner told me he added some fluid and it quit working. For now figure it has no foward gears. I do have a good used turbo 350 and may possibly get it installed before the sale of these two cars.... This car is equipped with power disc brakes , power windows , power top , posi rearend, tilt steering and air conditioning and also came with the SP code 350 High Compression motor. This car needs complete restoration. I have however, spent $10 on some Gorilla duct tape and taped the convertable top both outside and the underside. The top is equipped with a rear glass window. It looks like somebody cut the top with a knife. The car is from Illinois and does have some rust issues. Somebody did some cheesy work on the rear quarters. The frame has had some metal reinforcement welded to it near the front of the doors ....but it looks good....the floor has some rust through in a few spots...but not horrible !! The door lips are in good shape....and of course the front fenders are rusted where they all get it....the rocker panels are good....both bumpers are fairly straight but will need to be rechromed..the grille is all there but has cracks in it( it's plastic) ...tail lights are better then what one would expect ....If you need more info on the condition of the body best thing to do is contact me and I can tell you more over the phone ....719-217-8224.... The interior is in need of lots of work ...seats need to be reupholstered but the front power seat works... The dash is amazingly not cracked and the tilt steering seems to be tight. Both door panels are crap !Both rear inner panels are crap! All the power windows work but you have to push on the door panels to get them to work. The carpet is worn and will need to be replaced. The engine runs pretty good ....it does have an exhaust leak on the passenger side front and I believe is coming from the exhaust manifold....noticed two extras laying in the trunk. This car is also equipped with a posi rearend (I don't know the gear ratio but guessing 3:42)...The dual exhaust is in pretty good shape but isn't aluminum or stainless steel.
