This is a Buick Electra Park Avenue Ultra 4-door made in 1989 by General Motors Co. I purchased this vehicle in November 2011 from a small dealership in Wheatfield, Indiana. I have not had any crashes with this vehicle for the whole duration in owning it. From some research, the Buick Electra Park Avenue Ultras were one of the last groups of car models made in the US before General Motors stopped production of this model in 1990, which rendered this car model obsolete. The car also features an unusual spoiler built into the top of the trunk with a brake light in the center. From the research done, I could not find any reference to the cars having them incorporated. The exterior has some natural wear, but has some minor damage from past owners. The following is a list of exterior minor damage from past owners and from natural causes. Most of the damages listed here are very minor in nature and from everyday use since 1989, but there are a few basic damages that need repair. The car runs nice and smoothly, however, there are a few repairs needed in order to optimize performance. One issue with the car is when slowing to a stop, a small knocking noise begins, coming from underneath the car. I was informed that the supposed cause of this knocking was the doughnut, which connects to the exhaust pipe underneath the engine, either needs to be tightened or replaced. Another issue is the bushings underneath the car need replacing. A third issue is the catalytic converter is missing, but the muffler exhaust system has been replaced in order to try and compensate for the missing catalytic converter. The engine head gasket needs replacing and the brake fluid reservoir cap is warped, but can be easily replaced with new cap or reservoir can be completely replaced with new reservoir. (A new brake fluid reservoir is provided with this sale.) The final issues that I am aware of are that the chassis system needs basic repair and the car needs a new battery. These are the only issues that I have been informed of from a mechanic about the running condition of this vehicle. The car has had only 1 elderly owner, and currently only 71K original miles on it. It has been garage kept from day one. The outside is champagne (almost a light silver), and the inside is tan leather. Something you don't see often. Great running car and only issue is a slight leak from the transmission. Doesn't affect the car whatsoever. I have to put a half quart every 4 to 5 months.
