It was in running condition but has not been driven for a while. Restoration should be relatively easy as all the importan pieces are there and the body appears straight . What makes this is worthwhile project aside for the fact that this is a gorgeous car is that it was Hollywood icon Jack Palances personal car and was purchaed from his estate. This is locted in Bakersfield california and will require transport with winch. We arrange transport at our cost plus a smallervice fee. . This is truly a collectors item for a few reasons. Fisrt it is an unmolested all orginal white Cadillac in great running condition and near perfect interior. It has only 22000 miles and it is real original miles as it was an occasional car stored at a ranch near Bakersfield california for a Hollywood Star. So you ask who is the star and how can i prove it? Annette Funicello ( 1942-2013) is a world known star from the 50s and 60s. For thos who grew up in that era, she needs no introduction. Starred in 35 movies and released dozens of albums as well as countless hit singles throughout the 50, 60 and 70s. She lived in Los Angeles but also ahve a ranch just outside bakersfield. When the home in Los Angeles was burned down in a fire in 2011, she moved with her husband of many years Glen holt to their ranch where she passed away in 2013. That is why this car has so few miles and we have the california title still with her and her husbands name on it to verify authenticity. Aside from a small paint repair ( about 2 inches ) on the trunk and a little rust area about 3 inches at the base of the rear window, the car is literally pristine especially when one consider that this is a 41 year old car! The interior is as good as possible and it is the original blue upholstry and everything else works well.
