Own a piece of automobile and fashion design history! This very rare Christian Audigier VIF1 executive limo was actually owned by Audigier himself, and has been signed by him, Snoop Dogg, Bobby Brown, and more! VIF in French means high-energy and lively, with V derived from the word vivre. It’s a lengthened (by 14 inches) and heightened (by about six inches) Cadillac Escalade, upholstered with leathers that have been custom-tanned and took weeks to produce. Released in 2008, the VIF1 marks Christian Audigier’s foray into the luxury coach-building line. Originally sold for over $300,000.00, the VIF1 boasts of a raised roof, stretched rears and doors, customized fabricated body panels and grills with high intensity lighting as well as 24 carat gold-plated emblems and exhaust tips. Certain parts of the cabin, such as the seatbelt clips, touch-screen controls and instrument bezels, are fashioned from 24-karat gold to "reflect a certain rock ’n’ roll street culture." There is even built in Wi-Fi, and a "bat phone" to call the driver, and a front-mounted camera so passengers can tell if they’ve reached their red-carpet destination without suffering the indignity of having to ask the driver by watching the TV monitors! The elegant interior offers everything from a 26 inch flat panel TV to wooden cabinets as well as a maple console that houses a six disk alpine DVD changer, Sony Playstation 3, Apple IPod, cigar humidor, and an Apple Mac mini 80GB computer. About Christian Audigier: Audigier began working in the fashion industry at the age of fifteen. He designed a line of denim that was inspired by his love for rock and roll, specifically The Rolling Stones. His designs became so popular that a top executive from MacKeen Jeans took notice of Audigier's talent, affording him the opportunity to create with the company and travel the world.[3][4] He moved to New York in his early twenties to expand his own brand.[5] He worked with Guess, Levi's, Diesel, Fiorucci, Bisou Bisou and XOXO, among others.[6]Audigier on a motorcycle in 2010He then moved to Los Angeles where he would achieve most of his success as a fashion designer. After the death of artist Kenny Howard, also known as Von Dutch, in 1992, Howard's daughters sold the Von Dutch name to Michael Cassel and Robert Vaughn.[who?] The clothing brand that followed gained popularity in the US and attracted the attention of celebrities such as Madonna, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, and later Ashton Kutcher and Eric Church. Audigier helped popularize the brand, but left on amicable terms in 2004. He went on to popularize the Ed Hardy brand.[7] Audigier's other brands include SMET with French singer Johnny Hallyday.[7][8] Audigier's brands are sold internationally in over 40 countries.[9][unreliable source?]In 2008, he joined forces with a small cooperative in France, Montpeyroux Estates, to release a line of fine wines. The bottles are wrapped with labels that are designed with the classic Ed Hardy designs and are done by art director and photographer Barry Sutton.[9][unreliable source?]Audigier was a partner along with Pure Management in a nightclub in the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.[10][11] The nightclub closed in September 2010.[12]He released a line of Ed Hardy perfumes for men and women.[13] In 2012, he appeared on an episode of Sweden's Next Top Model.[14]

If you are into Classic Trucks, you will definitely want to take a look at this one. The attention to detail given this custom built truck sets it apart from any others you may have seen. From the 4 wheel power disc brakes (cross-drilled and slotted), power steering, to the Cadillac drive train – including 429 cubic inch motor, and 3-speed Turbo 400 transmission - everything has received special attention in this restoration/customization. ’55 Studebaker aficionados: you may notice that this truck looks a little different. The front end suspension is Corvette C-2, and has been adapted to fit by Flat Out Engineering. From its chrome grille, shaved door handles and lowered stance to the Cadillac wheel, everything has been done to make this truck not only look great, but drive equally as well. Check out the interior. Simple. Clean. The air conditioner vents are neatly nested into the dash. The Sony stereo pumps sound through the speakers mounted in the doors. Check out the custom dash with Auto Meter gauges. The whole interior is color coordinated to match the beautiful 2-stage paint job. Electrically assisted power brakes. Independent front suspension with coil-overs. If you think this truck looks good here, I can tell you the pictures don’t begin to do it justice. 0 false 18 pt 18 pt 0 0 false false false 1964 Lincoln Continental This 1964 Lincoln Continental is over the top and is customized unlike any other Lincoln out there. The body was recently finished about two years ago when we stripped off all of the chrome trim, door handles, bumpers, and wheels off of the car and were sent off to Highpoint for powder coating where they were completely redone in a shiny black powder coat. The body was blocked and painted a single-stage black with a light touch of flake—giving it a true satin flat look—while the top of the car is a shiny red with an amazing air-brushed mural of dragons, coy fish, samurai, and a tiger against waves of bamboo and flowers designed by Shawn Wilken. Wilken is one of the guys that air brush for the well-known bike builder Sinister Industries. Once we put the trim and the bumpers back on this car, the look came together and is truly one of a kind! The interior has been completely redone. The carpeting, door panels, and the seats are black with contrasting red stitching and red piping on the edges. The headliner was replaced with a leopard print. The front console was also custom built to house the front speakers and the stereo deck, while the rear panel is custom fiberglass to house the rear speakers. Wheels are 22-inch Dayton’s and have been powder coated gloss black and the tires are 265/35/22. Stereo is a new Pioneer touchscreen deck installed last year with Bluetooth capability to get all of your music off of your smart phone or tablet. The system is crazy with two square solo baric L7subs, 2 four channel 800X4 kicker amps, and one 2500X1 big kicker amp. On the inside of the car is a set of focal speakers in the rear and kickers in the front with a bass knob to control the massive L7 subwoofers. Also there are two yellow top batteries in the trunk to power the system. Engine is 1964 ford 430 7L V8 with 320hp and hooked up to an automatic transmission. Everything is fully functional, and the A/C is hooked up—all it needs is to be filled with Freon. The airbag system and stereo were professionally installed by Action Motor sports out of Las Vegas and set up with the Air Ride control system with 1,2,3 settings, allowing all four airbags to raise or lower with the touch of one button. In addition, four separate switches control each airbag for ultimate adjustability. Take a look at the pictures to see how much time and care was taken into bringing this car even more to life. I’ve truly enjoyed owning and restoring it to its current state. I always get tons of compliments because it’s something people don’t see every day. Let me know if you have any questions and good luck!

One of the final one-off custom Cadillacs of the Classic EraBuilt at the behest of Alfred P. Sloan, Jr., for the Duke and Duchess of WindsorUnique Fleetwood bodywork and interior appointmentsA New York society mainstay for a decadeWell-known history with only four owners since newFreshly and beautifully restored to exacting original specifications “The Duchess” is a 1941 custom-bodied Cadillac with coachwork by Fleetwood, created by General Motors for King Edward VIII. But you must believe me when I tell you, that I have found it impossible to carry the heavy burden of responsibility, and to discharge my duties as King, as I would wish to do, without the help and support of the woman I love. – King Edward VIII Theirs became one of the most famous love stories of all time. Never before had a king given up his throne for a woman he loved. Edward VIII, King of Great Britain, Ireland, and the British Dominions, Emperor of India, abdicated his throne on December 11, 1936, to marry Wallis Simpson, an American socialite from Baltimore. The couple henceforth became known as the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, and embarked upon nearly forty years of international jet-setting amidst the world’s most prominent people. Edward VIII, in particular, defined a gentleman’s style for his time. His clothing, pastimes, and habits were copied the world over, and his influence still reigns today, with men tying a “Windsor knot” in their neckties. Likewise, Wallis topped the international best-dressed list for decades, and her taste in jewelry and clothing captured the imagination of the world’s most famous designers. For more images and video, visit www.morganmurphy.co/duchesscadillac In 1938, King George VI, Edward’s brother and successor, appointed the Duke to serve as Governor of the Bahamas. Nassau proved the couple with a new venue for socializing and beautiful weather, but more importantly, it was a quick air trip from New York City, where they kept a suite at the Waldorf Towers on Park Avenue. During their visit to New York in late 1941, the Windsors were greeted by adoring crowds. They also took receipt of their new Cadillac from one of their society friends, Alfred P. Sloan, Jr., the powerful chairman and CEO of General Motors. It would carry them to the Empire State Building, and through a ticker tape parade down Wall Street. The New York Times dubbed it a “glossy new Cadillac.” It was so much more. Delivered in the waning days of old coachbuilding and the Classic Era, “The Duchess,” as it became known, was one of the final truly one-off, coachbuilt Cadillacs produced. A completely custom creation Not a single body panel on the Windsors’ car matched any other 1941 Cadillac. The hood, trunk, fenders, fender skirts, roof, and doors were all crafted by hand, and all interior appointments were hand-fitted. The fenders were and remain the car’s most notable feature. Beginning with a crest over the wheels, in the style of other 1941 Cadillacs, they extend and fade through the back of the body, predating Hooper’s coachwork on the Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud by 15 years. The streamlined appearance was sufficiently striking that Buick would borrow the basic style of the design for its 1942 production models. The car’s custom roofline, which dips between the windows to form a wide center post, would appear on the production 1942 Cadillac Series 60 Special. Other unique exterior features included the Windsors’ “W.E.” monogram to the rear doors, unique stainless steel rocker moldings and drip rails, and no side or rear emblems. Cadillac’s iconic “Goddess” hood ornament was, on this car, plated in gold. Inside, the car was upholstered entirely in rose-colored custom broadcloth, extending even to the headliner and sun visors. The floors were covered in Wilton wool carpet, custom-dyed to match. Conveying the car’s ideal combination of masculinity and femininity, these light colors are set against custom-finished walnut caps for the doors, cabinetry, and divider window. Four brushed stainless-steel jewelry cases, each of them lined in velvet, served to carry the Duchess’s purchases prized jewelry. For the Duke, there were no fewer than three cigar lighters and two ashtrays, as well as a humidor and a custom rack for his favored Sasieni pipe. This was the very first Cadillac to be equipped with power windows, with the side glass hydraulically operated, and an electric center privacy divider. All windows are equipped with satin privacy curtains, which roll away from use when not in use, and the door handles and vent window cranks are crafted of custom Lucite. As the Duke was a well-known enthusiast of automobiles and aircraft, Cadillac expected that he would take the wheel of this car on occasion. As a result, unusually for a limousine of the time, the front compartment was detailed to be as elegant and opulent as the rear, including its own radio, with a manually controlled roof-mounted antenna and buttons preset to New York City AM stations of the era. The custom rear radio, shrouded in solid copper, enjoyed a vacuum-powered antenna, which could be raised or lowered with the touch of a chrome knob on the rear seat armrest. Reportedly, even the Cadillac’s mechanical components were individually selected from the factory, to be “the best of the best” and to assure reliability and smoothness of operation. This car came from the factory with nearly every advanced feature that General Motors could offer in 1941. There were sealed-beam headlights with blacked out surrounds, safety glass, fully automatic heating, directional signals, power windows, power antenna, hydraulic brakes, independent front suspension, automatic thermostat shutters, ride stabilizers, and fully automatic Hydra-Matic transmission. Provenance According to Roy Schneider’s Cadillacs of the Forties, The Duke of Windsor paid an astonishing $14,000 for the completed limousine, an extravagant sum in 1941. It would be his first Cadillac, but not his last. He would use it for eleven years. During that time, it was often photographed with the couple, appearing regularly in newspaper clippings and newsreels. In 1952, the Duke traded the Cadillac in on a new custom-built Cadillac. It was resold by General Motors to Charles Beswick, a noted dealer of luxury cars in Springfield, Massachusetts. The Springfield Daily News reported on the transaction in its July 17, 1952 edition, stating that the car showed 19,246 miles, and gushed that its finish looked, “twice the quality of newer cars.” Beswick resold the Cadillac to early collectors Vernon and Bevline Bradley of Springfield, who added some 50,000 miles before selling it through a New York Times advertisement in 1964. William J. Edmonds III, a Cadillac collector from Fort Worth, Texas, was the new owner, and maintained the car largely in storage until its acquisition by Morgan Murphy in 2009. At that point, the process of extensively documenting and then restoring the long-lost “Duchess” began. Before embarking on an exhaustive, 20,000-hour restoration involving more than 200 specialists, Murphy, a longtime journalist and member of Cadillac & LaSalle Club (see www.morganmurphy.co) painstakingly researched the history of the Duchess, combing records from General Motors, Cadillac, the Royal Archives, the University of Oxford, the Associated Press, Time Life, The New York Times, and Paramount Pictures. The resulting documentation is nothing short of astounding—not only did Murphy locate the car’s original build sheet, confirming its matching numbers and provenance, but he also found images and film footage of the couple in the car the very day it was delivered. Subsequently, Murphy has spoken to every owner of the Duchess since the Duke’s ownership. Current Condition Today, the car operates as it did originally. The six-volt starter gently fires the V-8 to life, without the aid of modern fuel pumps, and the engine idles at a near-silent 400 rpm – so quietly that one can only hear the fan blades. The 90-degree crankshaft and harmonic balancer, along with cylinders balanced down to .005 grams, gives the Cadillac unprecedented smoothness. The interior was carefully brought back to its ornate original specifications, with seats and carpets painstakingly matched to the original material, and identical in their color, feel, and quality. The black finish has been carefully recreated to original specifications, and all chrome replated to show standards. As with all aspects of the Cadillac’s restoration, the chassis and mechanical components were finely detailed. The wheels are shod in Firestone wide whitewall tires, as specified for this car originally; original tags hide behind the seat cushions. Even the light bulbs have period-correct markings, and electrical components are properly serial-numbered, with cloth-covered wire. The clocks, radios, windshield washers, heating systems, fans, and lighting all use original mechanisms and bulbs. Even individual screws and bolts were saved whenever possible, replated, restored, then positioned back into their original holes. Whenever possible, original parts were used; “New Old Stock” components were the next best option, followed by having parts recreated from scratch. “The Duchess” is accompanied by copies of original historic photography, showing the Cadillac as it was freshly completed. General Motors extensively photographed the car, both in the studio and in front of 854 Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, showing the car’s custom bodywork and interior fittings in exquisite detail. Also accompanying are copies of its original build sheets, showing the car accounted to “A.P. Sloan, Jr., New York, N.Y.” and that its construction was handled by the factory engineering department. The car’s data tag on the firewall, engine number, and frame number all match the original build sheet, and have never been altered in any way. A fully unique, one-off commission by General Motors’s legendary leader for the cream of 1940s society, “The Duchess” is more than a car. It is a part of New York City social history, and a bespoke design as tailored to the style of its original owners as their legendary wardrobe. One of a kind! 1963 Cadillac Vista Wagon custom built in the late sixties using a 63 Cadillac Sedan married to a 64 Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser Wagon. Excellent build quality! Paint lays flat and shines like a wet seal, and the chrome trim, bumpers, and grill are very good to excellent. It appears to be a recent cosmetic restoration and shows no signs of any rust or body work. The doors and hood operate as new with a nice solid "Caddy Thunk".The interior is also in excellent original condition. The button leather seats look properly broken-in with no tears or cuts. The carpet and headliner are very good and tight. Cadillac rubber floor mats are excellent. Radial white-wall tires have very little wear and ride tight and quietly. She is a pleasure to drive.

One of 200 built by Coach Works of Chatsworth, CA on behalf of Cadillac management, this particular Mirage was restored by the head of the Mirage Registry and is quite likely the finest one known to exist anywhere. This is a show car in almost every way, and once you see it up close, you'll be extremely impressed by not only the quality of the restoration, but the original build as well. This is not a home-made conversion, and it's not something put together on the fly at a custom shop; no, the brass at Cadillac made this happen and as a result, the finish quality is OEM throughout and the seamless blend of Cadillac Coupe DeVille styling and pickup truck utility is just beautifully done. It wears a fresh coat of deep Mercedes-Benz silver metallic paint, which looks about a hundred times better than anything they were spraying in the 1970s. It is appropriate on this big truck, er, car, giving it a luxurious look without being too flashy about it. But don't worry, if it's attention you crave, this sucker still delivers in a very big way. The integration of the pickup bed and coupe bodywork is neatly done and mostly camouflaged by a matching silver padded roof that retains the coupe's quarter windows. The bed is beautifully finished with more gorgeous paint work and stainless rub stripes, making it just too pretty to actually use it as a pickup ever again. Cadillac's luxurious interior is 100% intact here, with acres of bright red leather that's in awesome condition. It's all been restored and there are several modifications that not only add a custom look, but enhance the luxury experience. The dash is wrapped in matching red leather, eliminating the crack-prone original vinyl and there's now a full array of Dakota Digital gauges in the original speedometer panel. The factory tilt column is fitted with a billet steering wheel, but that's about it as far as mods. The rest is all Cadillac luxury and includes things like power windows, locks, and seats, automatic climate control (ice cold!), and the original AM/FM/8-track stereo radio. Even the irreplaceable original red rubber floor mats are in excellent shape! Cadillac's monstrous 500 cubic inch V8 is prime for upgrades, and this big V8 makes about one horsepower per cubic inch thanks to a fresh rebuild and lots of enhancements. It looks super clean sitting under those finned valve covers, and the most obvious upgrades are the intake manifold, carburetor, Davis ignition system, headers, and the upgraded A/C compressor. Inside there's a big camshaft that definitely makes itself known (no smooth Cadillac idle here!) and it moves all 5500 or so pounds of Mirage with the kind of authority usually reserved for muscle cars. The TH400 3-speed automatic transmission was suitably built to handle the big numbers coming out of the engine, but it's still running a set of 2.73 gears out back, so it will eat miles and miles of pavement without working very hard. The chassis is extremely clean and shows no major modifications beyond the dual exhaust system and the self-leveling rear suspension is very useful on a pickup. Recent chrome wire wheels are stylish on a Cadillac like this and are wrapped in 235/75/15 whitewall radials. With only 576 miles since the restoration, this is quite likely the finest of its kind anywhere. This very rare Mirage is cool in every way that matters.
