It’s a lengthened (by 14 inches) and heightened (by about six inches) Cadillac Escalade, upholstered with leathers that have been custom-tanned and took weeks to produce. Released in 2008, the VIF1 marks Christian Audigier’s foray into the luxury coach-building line. Originally sold for over $300,000.00, the VIF1 boasts of a raised roof, stretched rears and doors, customized fabricated body panels and grills with high intensity lighting as well as 24 carat gold-plated emblems and exhaust tips. Certain parts of the cabin, such as the seatbelt clips, touch-screen controls and instrument bezels, are fashioned from 24-karat gold to "reflect a certain rock ’n’ roll street culture."
