Take a step back in time! This is a great example of an unrestored and unmodified Cadillac Hearse/Ambulance combo car. It is a Miller Meteor with the big 425 V8. Engine runs great and drives down the road well. Has a big 4BBL carburetor. Of course that is a few inches smaller than the year before which boasted the big 500 CID, but this is the first year of the "new" big body style. The car has been in private collections for several years, most recently in South Carolina but also spent time in Texas. I have an open/signed South Carolina title ready for new owner. Tires have very low miles on them. Interior is in good shape. Brand new front carpet. I repaired rear door upholstery panels and a few areas that were loose. (I had them refastened via professional upholsterer.) Car also has a siren that works. Presents well. Has a few areas in the paint that could use work and a few bumps but it's not priced like a restored vehicle. This is a 40 year old car and was used as an ambulance. It is not a restored unit but has been repainted/repaired at various junctures. Solid 20 footer. All pics are super sized for best perspective/view. Some of the areas that are "below the knee cap" in the rear quarter panel and along the bottom side of the back door on passenger side could be pushed out, I just haven't gotten into it enough to pull out parts of interior to access lower quarter panels in rear. It's a rare bird and represents the end of an era as Cadillacs were being used for hearse work and Ford van and truck chassis took over the ambulance industry due to new government regulations for rescue vehicles. This car was in a garage since 86 so after purchasing it I had to replace the fuel tank and sending unit to get it running. I also removed the oil pan and replaced the oil pump as preventative maintenance. Car runs and drives well. I have been driving it four days a week for about a year now without any major issues . I noticed the odometer and trip gauge no longer change but the speedometer works fine. Four of the wing Windows are inop but the pass front works. I also replaced the radiator and had the water pump rebuilt. I replaced the valve cover gaskets and charged the ac with 134 A. The ac lasted about a month before seeping out the refrigerant. The heater works very well with no leaks. The car could use some paint because it looks like it had a cheap paint job done at one point in time and is beginning to come off. It has the hi lift Jack and original spare with metal cover. I also replaced all the headlights with new bulbs and replace all the brakes. It holds a salvage title but is very clean. No major rust and looks very good under the car . The power seat makes noise but doesn't move . Not Shure what is wrong. The wipers don't work and in not shure what it is. All the fuses look good. I replaced all four tires and painted the rims. It has all new spark plugs and wires. Hello, Thanks for taking the time to look at this 1972 Fleetwood Eldorado Convertible in pretty nice condition for a 43 year old vehicle. This is a solid car previously from Florida with a repaint in its history. Looks good but (not a perfect job) this is a daily driver not a show car although it could be if thats your thing. The interior is all their and in decent shape as you can see in the pictures. The power convertible top looks new, it has a glass back window and goes up and with ease. The chrome is in very good condition and all their. The glass is clear with no cracks or issues. The tires are like new 235-75R-15 Firestone's with matching hubcaps in great shape. This car runs and drives down the road fine. This car starts right up, engine is quiet the transmission shifts fine and the steering and brakes respond as they should, even the air conditioner is cold. I'm not a Classic car expert but I am an honest licensed and bonded car dealer here in Massachusetts so if you have any questions or concerns about this Cadillac please let me know my direct number is 508 735-5071 my name is Bob. I just had the shop look at this car on the lift to make sure all the negatives were known up front so I could list them. So here's what they found and things you should know: The left front axel boot is ripped (axel not making noise) the radio turns on but no sound, the left front power lock actuator doesn't work. The bezel on the cruise lever is missing never tried the cruise control. The passenger door strap cap is missing. A little rust on lower LF fender see(pic) So thats it (not to bad.) Very Nice Chrome Recent Repaint New Upholstery Solid Arizona car with no rust issues The new Eldorado was a great departure from the previous generation, which had become little more than a dressed-up version of Cadillac's Deville. Its crisp styling, initiated by GM styling chief Bill Mitchell, was distinctive and unique, more angular than the streamlined Riviera and Toronado. Performance was 0–60 mph in less than nine seconds and a top speed of 120 mph. Roadability and handling were highly praised by contemporary reviews, and sales were excellent despite high list prices. Its sales of 17,930 units, nearly three times the previous Eldorado high, helped give Cadillac its best year ever. In 1968, the Eldorado received Cadillac's new 375 hp (280 kW) (SAE gross) 472 cu in (7.7 L) V8, and disc brakes became standard. Only slight exterior changes were made to comply with new federal safety legislation. Sales set another record at 24,528, with Eldorados accounting for nearly 11% of all Cadillacs sold. Hate to sell, but too many cars, too many Cadillac's. Solid AZ desert car with no rust problems. Good looking car with great lines. Nice driver. I know it runs great - I drove it from Phoenix. My grandfather was the second owner of this car, he bought it for his late wife and almost never drove it. It's been in my family ever since. It sat in the garage for 10 years after he lost his sight but I was able to start it right up. I drove it to a few shows and of course it drives like a dream. Everything works on this car (other than the clock) the brights, the AC, heat, power windows/locks, turn signals, the indicators on the turn signals, the cigarette lighters, the instrument panel- everything; there's nothing wrong with it, it's never been in an accident. Despite having 4 ashtrays no one has ever smoked in it. The leather looks and smells new. It literally still has the new car smell from 44 years ago. The top is still in new condition, it is rarely outside, never driven in snow, never been dirty, all the rubber seals are still functional. It is like stepping into a time machine. The radio sounds like a 1970s radio should. This is not a car that should be pimped out, it doesn't need restoration because everything on it is still new; it belongs in a museum. I don't need to sell it, everytime I drive it, either in a parade or just around town, it turns heads. Everytime I park I get a crowd and sometimes offers to buy it. It brings joy to your life to own this piece of American history. This car has more accessories and functions than most of the sorry excuses being produced today. It was built when brands meant something- and Cadillac was the standard everyone aspired to. They just don't make them like they used it. If you're looking at this car I shouldn't have to tell you this but 1971 was the first year that cars could take leaded or unleaded gas, this one runs fine on premium. The only things I replaced are spark plugs, tires (which have less than 1000 miles on them), and the starter. Other than that it is all original. It was bought at Hanley Dawson Cadillac, the famous dealership in Chicago which has its own story. I still have the original manual and the original keys in their leather holders. 14,000 miles might be the lowest mileage coupe de ville in existence. Enough said.

You are viewing an original 1937 Cadillac V8 5 passenger 7509 Formal Sedan. This is another California "barn-find". According to the Cadillac Archives, this car was delivered new to Don Lee Cadillac in Los Angeles, California. This true survivor is missing very little including window crank and two cigar lighters. The interior is complete and original. The All the whistles and bells are present. According to the Archives report, the car was a special order. The car is equipped with a rear radio.. But "special order" status could be as little as the initials of the owner on the rear doors. The engine compartment is 100% complete including the air-cleaner and engine pans. This car starts and runs smoothly although a complete fuel, oil and coolant servicing is needed before touring. The transmission and clutch operate smoothly and without any distraction. The car has smoothly operating brakes without showing wear.. again, an inspection is needed. The engine is running from a small gas can. The condition of the tank and lines are "as found". The engine is out a 1941. This car was "hot wired" years ago and I would assume there is an ignition switch issue. The spares are in the wells as well as the complete covers. The windows operate without strain. The instrument panel is perfect.
