FRAME IS SOLID there's a little rust in the front rocker panels right behind the front tires (common place for 59 Cadillacs) some rust in one of the door skins. The car is not running been sitting since the 1980's it's missing the fender skirts the carburetor the hubcaps the radiator and condenser. Front windshield has a crack on the passenger side I can order a brand new windshields for $1000 These cars are rare with very low production numbers only 690 made! This is a very well maintained professional vehicle used by a family owned funeral home. This car has been garage kept every day since its original purchase. A one-owner vehicle, this car has been very reliable - runs and looks great. The car was professionally painted silver to match the funeral home's new fleet color several years ago. The original factory color was Auburn. The interior is in good condition - non-smoking; battery is new; tires are new; windows are NOT tinted; no exterior rust can be seen; there is some minor rust under the middle doors (typical for stretched cars) but not a structural issue - see photo. You are viewing an original 1937 Cadillac V8 5 passenger 7509 Formal Sedan. This is another California "barn-find". According to the Cadillac Archives, this car was delivered new to Don Lee Cadillac in Los Angeles, California. This true survivor is missing very little including window crank and two cigar lighters. The interior is complete and original. The All the whistles and bells are present. According to the Archives report, the car was a special order. The car is equipped with a rear radio.. But "special order" status could be as little as the initials of the owner on the rear doors. The engine compartment is 100% complete including the air-cleaner and engine pans. This car starts and runs smoothly although a complete fuel, oil and coolant servicing is needed before touring. The transmission and clutch operate smoothly and without any distraction. The car has smoothly operating brakes without showing wear.. again, an inspection is needed. The engine is running from a small gas can. The condition of the tank and lines are "as found". The engine is out a 1941. This car was "hot wired" years ago and I would assume there is an ignition switch issue. The spares are in the wells as well as the complete covers. The windows operate without strain. The instrument panel is perfect.
