For Sale: 1982 Mercedes Benz 380SL with both tops, V8, AT, Low Miles 71,414. U.S.Model that Looks, Runs and Drives very good. This is a very nice original low mi, basicly rust free 380 SL Mercedes with a clean/clear title. Does not look to have ever been wrecked and has a clean title, no visable dents or dings, this is a beautiful car with a great color combination, Very Pretty Light Blue Metallic Paint (stock color) with very nice Dark Blue Leather Interior (stock color). Paint is shiny and it looks good, Light silver Blue metallic paint with nice dark blue interior, Leather seats and carpet are in good condition, tops are nice, all glass is good. I just replaced all the tires including the spare, so it has 5 brand new radial tires. Nice mostly original car that runs and drives %26 looks very good, (the previous owner liked the looks of the \"euro\" headlights and had the local mercedes dealer install them, dealer kept the original U.S. lights), comes with the factory owners manual packet, factory tool kit %26 top release tools, factory first aid kit, car even still has its original factory Becker Grand Prix Radio (still works!). Just had the transmission serviced %26 adjusted. The story on this car from the guy that I bought it from was that the previous long time owner was disabled (Paraplegic %26 needed hand controls to drive), he bought the car to take it out from time to time (hence the low miles) to lift his spirits and have a little fun. The hand controls were just clamped on and removed from the vehicle when sold to the gentleman I bought it from. This is a very nice SL, is this a perfect vehicle? NO. Couple very minor nicks in the paint %26 although this car still has alot of its original paint, the previous disabled owner said the car was \"keyed\" and said he had to have some panels repainted to repair the deeper key scratch marks. Overall the paint is very shiny and looks good, has a couple minor scratches. Radio is missing a small push button. This is not a class #1 car but it is still extremely nice! The Kelley Blue Book (Jan. to June 2014) shows Class #1 (excellent condition) is $22,700. , Class #2 (Good Condition) is $14,300. , Class 3 (Fair Condition) is $8,300. , Plus addition ($$$) for LOW Miles, shows to add upto 41.8% for vehicles over $4,000. in value with LESS than 100k miles, I have it priced to sell and have a lower VERY realistic price. This is a rare basicly rust free low mile car, do not miss out! The car has a clean and clear title in my companies name (MLCorvettes). It was just anounced (april 2014) that these 107 series SL Mercedes (350SL 380SL 450SL 560SL) were way under valued and cars with lower miles to be 1 of the next 20 Collector Cars to go UP in value in the very near future. I have done my best to accurately describe this vehicle, there may or may not be some things that I missed, it is up to the buyer to come and see the car IN PERSON and further inspect the vehicle BEFORE the end of the auction. I believe in giving you (the new owner) a very detailed discription of the vehicle. If you have any questions, Please ask them before the auction has ended.
