BODYWORK/TRIM Fully sorted and ready to roll, this super cool pickup recently received a roof-to-rocker makeover that's set off by smooth PPG Cool Vanilla 2-stage and tasteful gold pin striping. Under that high quality pigment, an incredibly straight fuselage hangs solid panels that, with the exception of a thorough massage during their restoration, appear to have led a quiet, drama-free existence. Those massaged panels feature better-than-factory alignment and, when opened and closed, sound solid and function exceptionally well. And that functional body's combination of excellent reflections and Kansas-flat surfaces suggest many labor-intensive hours were spent exacting top-notch finish work. While its basic shape is certainly appealing, first rate detailing is what makes this Chevy really pop. At the front of the truck, a familiar chrome grille rides between a fresh chrome bumper, clean halogen headlights and a shaved hood. Behind that hood, a split windshield leads a 3-window greenhouse that's framed in capped wipers, small, color-keyed mirrors and a flush Center High Mount Stop Lamp. Beneath those mirrors, painted running boards combine with shaved doors to create a simple, attractive profile. At the center of that profile, a custom bed cover lifts to reveal a custom mural and spectacular Oak planks. And at the back of that cover, a smooth tailgate reflects a custom roll pan, polished exhaust tips and flush-fit tail lamps. ENGINE Take a look under the truck's clean hood and you'll find 5.7 liters of LS1 V8 that makes over 300 horsepower! Straight from the factory, the proven mill combines a sturdy aluminum block with lightweight aluminum heads, coil-near-plug ignition and aluminum flat top pistons to create razor-sharp throttle response and a torque band that's as wide as Texas. At the front of the engine, polished serpentine components spin a polished alternator and modern AC compressor at the sides of a polished Street & Performance air cleaner. Once air enters that cleaner, it flows through a polished throttle body to a polished intake, which is bolted down over completely stock internals. High-octane fossils are provided by GM electronic fuel injection. Sparks are sequenced through fresh Taylor plug wires. Spent gases roar through a slick pair of Hooker Super Competition headers. And cooling comes courtesy of a beefy Walker radiator that's fitted with a large SPAL pusher fan. Aesthetically, both the tan mill and its assortment of bright accessories seem right at home inside their smooth, body-matched frame. And details like polished caps, polished rocker covers, polished fluid reservoirs and color-keyed rail covers ensure this Chevy has the looks to match its performance. DRIVETRAIN/TRANSMISSION Judging by appearance, this classic spent most of its blue-collar life living clean and working hard. So, when the time came for rebirth, the truck was a prime candidate for thorough modernization. Nowhere is that theme more evident than under the skin. The dressed LS1 sends power to a 4L60E 4-speed automatic, which spins a color-keyed axle that's fitted with moderate, highway-friendly gears. That smooth drivetrain pushes a Fatman Fabrications frame on a custom 4-link suspension, which sports proven QA1 coil-overs. Tracking is provided by an upgraded front clip, which is fitted with tubular control arms, power rack-and-pinion steering and two more coil-over-shocks. Quick stops are a cinch thanks to power-assisted, 4-wheel disc brakes. At the center of the floor, coated exhaust pipes make good use of coated DynoMax mufflers. And at the corners of the chassis, polished Billet Specialties wheels twist 225/60R17 front, and 235/60R18 rear, Goodyear Assurance radials around custom center caps. INTERIOR When you pop this pickup's doors, you'll find a comfortable cockpit that, thanks to Larry Sneed Hot Rod Interior of Louisville, Kentucky, features stylish Alligator trim. Top dead center, a wrapped dash hangs a locking glovebox and Classic Instruments All American gauges above knobs for Vintage Air climate control. In front of that dash, modern leather seats frame a custom console that's fitted with two cupholders, chrome window switches and a hidden power outlet. Under that console, tweed carpet anchors color-keyed floor mats beneath billet foot pedals and a polished column drop. At the sides of that carpet, sculpted door panels hang highly polished handles under color-keyed window frames. Hello, you are looking at a 93 Chevy Silverado 3500 1 ton dually. I bought this truck bone stock and completely rebuilt it and customized it to how you see it today. I am 35yrs old and own/operate a successful Hotrod shop. This isn't some hacked together teenage minitruckers project built in a driveway. It is well engineered, designed and built with safety and performance in mind. I wanted to build the "Ultimate Shop Truck" for my hotrod business. I wanted something that could haul or tow whatever I threw at it and look badass doing it. I never planned on selling this truck but as you know, life has a way of presenting opportunities so here it is for sale. I would like to disclose that before I got it, the truck was involved in a light frontend wreck and was considered totaled (doesn't take much to total a 20yr old truck...) It was hit on the drivers front corner. New sheetmetal (fenders, hood, grille, headlights) were installed. The entire truck was repainted "work truck white" The paint is good driver quality and cleans up/shines bright. This is why it has a rebuilt title. No frame damage, alignment issues, etc. I would not have bought this truck if it had issues like that. It is also a factory 5 speed which is very hard to find these days. The heart of this beast is a 1995 Cummins 5.9 12 valve diesel engine. This is the highly desireable Bosch P7100 P-pump motor. It was pulled from a Schoolbus and is the higher 215 horsepower model. The engine has right at 100k on it which is nothing for a Cummins. The killer dowel pin (KDP) was fixed and the engine was re-gasketed. It fires up and runs like a champ. It is backed by an NV4500 5 speed manual transmission from a 2000 Chevy truck. The transmission has approx. 70k miles on it. Power is put down via a Southbend clutch and flywheel and hydraulic clutch. Very smooth shifting. The motor and trans are integrated into the truck extremely well. ALL FACTORY GAUGES WORK including the tachometer along with 3 A-pillar mounted gauges that monitor boost pressure, fuel pressure, and exhaust temp. The engine has a custom fuel plate and custom downpipe. A brand new Dodge/Cummins radiator and intercooler are used along with the factory GM A/C Condensor and power steering cooler. Dual SPAL electric fans keep everything cool. The factory hydraboost works great and is powered by a Cummins p/s pump from a 2002 Dodge. Heat and a/c both work correctly. The driveshaft was completely rebuilt and had new u-joints and support bearing installed. It is hooked to the original GM corporate 14 bolt full float rear axle. The rearend was completely disassembled and rebuilt with new Timken bearings. Brakes and hubs were all rebuilt. The rear gear was replaced with 3.73s so highway speeds are no problem. A brand new fuel tank, fuel pickup and fuel lines were also installed. Exhaust exits through a 3" pipe and out a 4" miter cut stack. It has a great sound and is not overbearing in the cab. You can still listen to music, make phone calls and talk to the people riding along without yelling. The suspension/chassis of this truck is nothing short of bulletproof to match the engine. The frame has been plated/boxed from the cab back. The entire chassis was sealed and top coated with heavy duty truck bed liner. The rear c-notch and bridge are all heavy gauge and are braced with additional fore and aft tubular braces. There is a flip-up gooseneck hitch that is ready for whatever you hook to it. There is also a Class 5 receiver hitch under the bumper. The front suspension is completely custom built and uses tubular upper and lower control arms with center mounted shocks. The hubs/brakes have been converted to 3/4 ton rotors which eliminates a huge amount of rotating mass (approx. 35 lbs at each corner!) All rotors, calipers, bearings, balljoints are all new. The factory sway bar is used with energy suspension bushings. The track width up front has been narrowed 3" on each side which allows for a full turning radius at a much lower ride height. This truck rides and handles like a sports car! You will forget you are driving a 7000lb dually. The rear suspension uses a parallel 4 link (36" bars) and a watts link. There is literally zero side to side movement of the rear axle throughout the entire suspension cycle. Airlift Dominator 2600 airbags are used at all 4 corners along with heavy duty Monroe gas shocks at all 4 corners. There are also axle limiting straps installed on the rear axle so you can easily raise this truck on a lift and not have to worry about the rear axle hanging there by the airbags and shocks only. There are 2 5 gal. air tanks and 2 Viair 480 compressors. All air management is located at the rear of the truck along with 2 yellow top Optima batteries. Everything including the water traps, relays, etc. are easily accessed for service if needed. There is a Dakota digital monitor installed in the overhead console in the cab that displays all 4 corners and the tank pressure. There are 2 switches for the air ride Front and Rear. The dump valves have all been calibrated so that when you lower the truck it goes down very gently and at the same time (front and rear hit the ground at the same time) All air line is 3/8" DOT. SMC valves and water traps. This system is very well installed and has no issues, leaks of any kind. Every nut and bolt on this truck is Grade 8. The front and rear suspension are both completely adjustable with Heims joints so it is totally dialed in. Wheels are genuine 22.5" Alcoa semi wheels that were milled down to 22". They are installed with American Force wheel adapters, not the no-name junk from China. 265/35/22 extended weight capacity tires are in like new condition. I had this truck professionally aligned so there is no weird tire wear or pulling left or right. Nice smooth and straight. The rear wheels are a zero offset style semi wheel so the rear axle didn't need to be narrowed and the dually fenders are not modified. The inner wheels are stock 16" wheels with E-rated towing tires so you can haul just about whatever you want. The body of this truck is very straight and solid. I wanted it to still look like a work truck so no modifications have been done to the outside. I added LED cab lights and flip-up tow mirrors from a 2000 Dodge Ram that have been painted body color. The entire bed floor has been raised to allow room for the rear c-notch. The bedliner was modified and re-installed. This way you can still use this truck like a TRUCK! Slide in parts, haul wood, whatever you want. No goofy hump in the middle or weird covers. This truck was originally a Western Hauler conversion truck so the interior is plush. It is red leather captains seats up front and a red leather bench in the back. 64 Impala steering wheel. Power door locks, power windows all work great. There is a touchscreen 7" CD player that is also a DVD monitor. It has Bluetooth so you can sync your phone. There is also a rearview camera so backing up to a trailer is a breeze! TITLE: Clear title in hand with a VIN that matches the car plate. HISTORY: I bought the car from a car restoring friend that live just north of Cincinnati, Ohio. He bought it from a man in Cincinnati that gave up on the restoration. The money and time got to him, the car was drivable, but needed some things finished. My friend did some and I did some. I am 68 years old, a retired auto mechanics instructor and helicopter mechanic. I buy cars, do some work and resell. I do have dealers license, but do not have a showroom, I want to keep things legal and up front. No open titles for you car flippers! IS THIS A REAL SUPER SPORT? No, it is a replica, it is a copy. IS THIS A MATCHING NUMBERS CAR? No, the engine is not original to the car. HOW IS THE PAINT? I think the paint is and good. It has no dents, no rust bubbles, no dings and has a very good shine on a stright body. The color is a bronze with lots of fine metallic. It is not the original color, but all the door jambs and undersides have been painted. I think you will be very happy with the paint job, its no roll out of the trailer show queen, it just a real nice job. HOW IS THE CHROME? Bumpers look new, emblems new, window stainless good with some very minor scuffs, door handles new, tail light bezels look new. HOW IS THE GLASS? Windshield look new, other glass good with a couple of very minor marks. HOW IS THE INTERIOR? New, but not the best job in the world on the install. The paint guy was great, the interior guy not not as good, The seat covers could be pulled tighter as well as the headliner. The carpet is new as well as the door panels, the dash pad looks real good. DO THE LIGHTS WORK? The headlights work, tail lights work, turn signals work, brake lights work, the dome light works. DO THE GAUGES WORK? The gas guage works, the oil temp and volts are in a pod under the dash and work. WIPERS WORK! HORN WORKS! HEATER BLOWER WORKS! WHAT IS THE ENGINE? It is a 350 that is not original, the engine casting numbers are 14016379. It runs good with no knoks or rattles. It has a mild cam, it has timing gears "they give a whining sound". The engine is detailed nice and painted the color of the car. WHAT IS THE TRANSMISSION? Its a 2 speed Power Glide. I think it shifts good, it does not have a kick down linkage, it has a after market ratchet shifter. I think the shifter is the worst thing about the car, but it is new and works the way it was made to. WHAT IS THE REAR-END? Its a 10 bolt with a good highway gearing, it is not positive traction. It is painted the same broze color as the car. The leaft springs have new bushings. WHAT IS THE STEERING? It is stock and not power steering, I think the car drives good. It has new ball joint and control arm bushings. WHAT ARE THE BRAKES? Drums on all 4 and they stop like drums do. No power booster, but I think they stop good enough for normal driving. The parking brake works. WHAT IS THE RADIO? Its a after market that sounds fine with 6x9 speakers in the rear, it does have a CD player. The fit is not original, the plate is cut to fit the modern radio. WHAT ARE THE WHEELS AND TIRES? The wheels are American Eagles, the tires have good tread. WHAT IS THE EXHAUST? It sound very good, it has ceramic coated header, new pipes and Flow Master mufflers. HOW IS THE UNDERSIDE? I think it is great, its painted and clean. IS THIS A MATCHING NUMBERS CAR? No, the engine is not original to the car. HOW IS THE PAINT? I think the paint is and good. It has no dents, no rust bubbles, no dings and has a very good shine on a stright body. The color is a bronze with lots of fine metallic. It is not the original color, but all the door jambs and undersides have been painted. I think you will be very happy with the paint job, its no roll out of the trailer show queen, it just a real nice job. HOW IS THE CHROME? Bumpers look new, emblems new, window stainless good with some very minor scuffs, door handles new, tail light bezels look new. HOW IS THE GLASS? Windshield look new, other glass good with a couple of very minor marks. HOW IS THE INTERIOR? New, but not the best job in the world on the install. The paint guy was great, the interior guy not not as good, The seat covers could be pulled tighter as well as the headliner. The carpet is new as well as the door panels, the dash pad looks real good. DO THE LIGHTS WORK? The headlights work, tail lights work, turn signals work, brake lights work, the dome light works. DO THE GAUGES WORK? The gas guage works, the oil temp and volts are in a pod under the dash and work. WIPERS WORK! HORN WORKS! HEATER BLOWER WORKS! WHAT IS THE ENGINE? It is a 350 that is not original, the engine casting numbers are 14016379. It runs good with no knoks or rattles. It has a mild cam, it has timing gears "they give a whining sound". The engine is detailed nice and painted the color of the car. WHAT IS THE TRANSMISSION? Its a 2 speed Power Glide. I think it shifts good, it does not have a kick down linkage, it has a after market ratchet shifter. I think the shifter is the worst thing about the car, but it is new and works the way it was made to. WHAT IS THE REAR-END? Its a 10 bolt with a good highway gearing, it is not positive traction. It is painted the same broze color as the car. The leaft springs have new bushings. WHAT IS THE STEERING? It is stock and not power steering, I think the car drives good. It has new ball joint and control arm bushings. WHAT ARE THE BRAKES? Drums on all 4 and they stop like drums do. No power booster, but I think they stop good enough for normal driving. The parking brake works. WHAT IS THE RADIO? Its a after market that sounds fine with 6x9 speakers in the rear, it does have a CD player. The fit is not original, the plate is cut to fit the modern radio. WHAT ARE THE WHEELS AND TIRES? The wheels are American Eagles, the tires have good tread. WHAT IS THE EXHAUST? It sound very good, it has ceramic coated header, new pipes and Flow Master mufflers. HOW IS THE UNDERSIDE? I think it is great, its painted and clean. Factory options include Ruby Red Metallic paint, Shaker Pro Audio System, Brembo Brake Package, 6R80 6 Speed Automatic transmission with select shift, and the hard to find glass roof. Additional factory options include a universal garage door opener, ambient lighting, sirius satellite radio, leather trim seats, 6 way power drivers seat, leather wrapped steering wheel, and limited slip differential. This car has a lots of upgrades with horsepower north of 700. This car puts over 600rwhp to the ground and over 530ft/lbs on 93 octane. A polished Vortech JT Trim Competition Kit forces some extra air through the 900 horsepower intercooler and to the intake. This competition kit has lots of growing potential and can make over 1100 hp with a built engine and complete fuel system. The car also has a Vortech Competition air inlet (not pictured). Fueling on the car is handled via the Injector Dynamics 850cc injectors and Vortech Fuel Pump Booster. To help get the air out of the engine quicker, the car has been upfitted with Stainless Works 1 7/8" Long Tube headers with offroad x pipe. Optional bolt in catalytic converters are available for this system. The headers are finished off with a Stainless Works retro chambered cat back exhaust. This Stainless Works system has been upgraded with larger resonators and larger mufflers for even more flow and sound. The addition of a JPC Coolant Tank and TBR T Bolt Clamps finish off the installation of the supercharger kit. The interior is upfitted with an Aeroforce Interceptor gauge and Roush Gauge pod to keep monitoring things like air/fuel, boost, and many other options at the touch of a button. To get the torque out even quicker, a TBR "Torque Booster" wastegate package has been added and brings the boost in sooner and improving the mid range power by about 90 horsepower. The power is freed up moreso by the use of a Circle D 2C torque converter. This stall is a mild street stall with great drivabilty. The car averages about 25mph on the highway while still being able to put down mid 1.5 60' times. To help plant all that power, the car has been lowered on BMR lowering springs along with a full compliment of BMR suspension parts. An adj upper control arm, lower control arms, and adjustable panhard have been added. The car features 18x10.5 Race Star Dark Star rear wheels wrapped in Nitto NT555r tires, fronts are 17x7 Race Star Darks Stars with Cooper RSA 215/55/17 tires. An optional set of 15x10 Race Star Dark Stars with 275/60/15 Mickey Thompson Radial Pro's are available. To compliment all the power the car is making, the body has had a GT500 rear spoiler added along with a CDC upper grille and a Roush Lower Grille delete. Fueling on the car is handled via the Injector Dynamics 850cc injectors and Vortech Fuel Pump Booster. To help get the air out of the engine quicker, the car has been upfitted with Stainless Works 1 7/8" Long Tube headers with offroad x pipe. Optional bolt in catalytic converters are available for this system. The headers are finished off with a Stainless Works retro chambered cat back exhaust. This Stainless Works system has been upgraded with larger resonators and larger mufflers for even more flow and sound. The addition of a JPC Coolant Tank and TBR T Bolt Clamps finish off the installation of the supercharger kit. The interior is upfitted with an Aeroforce Interceptor gauge and Roush Gauge pod to keep monitoring things like air/fuel, boost, and many other options at the touch of a button. To get the torque out even quicker, a TBR "Torque Booster" wastegate package has been added and brings the boost in sooner and improving the mid range power by about 90 horsepower. The power is freed up moreso by the use of a Circle D 2C torque converter. This stall is a mild street stall with great drivabilty. The car averages about 25mph on the highway while still being able to put down mid 1.5 60' times. To help plant all that power, the car has been lowered on BMR lowering springs along with a full compliment of BMR suspension parts. An adj upper control arm, lower control arms, and adjustable panhard have been added. The car features 18x10.5 Race Star Dark Star rear wheels wrapped in Nitto NT555r tires, fronts are 17x7 Race Star Darks Stars with Cooper RSA 215/55/17 tires. An optional set of 15x10 Race Star Dark Stars with 275/60/15 Mickey Thompson Radial Pro's are available. To compliment all the power the car is making, the body has had a GT500 rear spoiler added along with a CDC upper grille and a Roush Lower Grille delete. The car not only has a very aggressive look and stance, but has the power to back it up. For additional added safety, the oil pump has been upgraded with MMR Billet Oil pump gears. This package with our custom e25 tune has netted a 10.45 et at over 131mph with a 1.56 - 60'.
