For the first time in the Suburban’s lifespan, a three-quarter ton version was available. Beatles lead singer Paul McCartney had two of these Morris Penny Cars commissioned for himself. One is at Cornish Goldsmiths in Cornwall, England, and the other is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in San Francisco.The pennies were placed on a 1963 Morris Mini Minor, an economy car manufactured primarily in Oxford, England from 1948 to 1971. As mentioned, the Target Red paint is correct to the car. The body is laser straight and shows no signs of damage that we have found. The front and rear chrome bumpers are in great condition with a brilliant luster and shine. The stainless steel trim does show some pitting, due to age but it does show well. MotoeXotica Classic Cars is pleased to present a facelift to our inventory with this 1994 Jaguar XJS convertible.The Jaguar XJ-S (later the Jaguar XJS) was a luxury grand tourer produced by the British manufacturer Jaguar from 1975 to 1996. The XJ-S replaced the E-type in September 1975 and was based on the XJ saloon. It had been developed as the XK-F, though it was very different in character from its predecessor. Although it never had quite the same sporting image, the XJ-S was a competent grand tourer and more aerodynamic than the E-Type. The last XJS was produced on April 4, 1996.For the ‘90s XJSs, the rear side windows appeared enlarged, and the buttresses stayed, as designer Geoff Lawson argued that they were part of the car’s character. The car received a new 4-liter version of the AJ6. In 1992, a 4-liter convertible was added to the range. The V12’s capacity was enlarged to 6 liter in May 1993 (304 HP). MotoeXotica Classic Cars is pleased to present a facelift to our inventory with this 1994 Jaguar XJS convertible.The Jaguar XJ-S (later the Jaguar XJS) was a luxury grand tourer produced by the British manufacturer Jaguar from 1975 to 1996. The XJ-S replaced the E-type in September 1975 and was based on the XJ saloon. It had been developed as the XK-F, though it was very different in character from its predecessor. Although it never had quite the same sporting image, the XJ-S was a competent grand tourer and more aerodynamic than the E-Type. The last XJS was produced on April 4, 1996.For the ‘90s XJSs, the rear side windows appeared enlarged, and the buttresses stayed, as designer Geoff Lawson argued that they were part of the car’s character. The car received a new 4-liter version of the AJ6. In 1992, a 4-liter convertible was added to the range. The V12’s capacity was enlarged to 6 liter in May 1993 (304 HP). At the same time, the car benefited from a revision to the rear brakes, they were now fitted with outboard rear disc brakes instead of the more complicated inboard items on previous models. With the introduction of the 6.0 liter V12, the transmission was also updated to a GM 4L80E with a fourth gear overdrive, while the automatic 4-liter models continued with the electronic ZF4HP24E transmission. A 2+2 convertible was also introduced, as was a customized insignia line. The car received more aerodynamic front and rear bumpers. The New York City Museum of Modern Art recognized the significance of the E-Type's design in 1996 by adding a blue roadster to its permanent design collection, one of only six automobiles to receive this distinction.The car you see here is an early production 1965 Jaguar XKE Flat Floor Roadster and it is very deserving of the “most beautiful car ever made” title! This particular car was built on January 3rd, 1962 and comes to us on consignment as the owner had owned this car since 1974! Sadly, Mr. Enslin has passed on and is it is being sold on the behalf of his family. We wish to find a loving family for custodian for the next generation. The roadster has benefitted from an older complete nut & bolt restoration, has been meticulously maintained and has been regularly driven with many years worth of repair receipts in hand. As mentioned, it is VERY correct and original! Included with the car is not only the original tool kit and original owner’s manual from 1962, but also the Heritage Trust Certificate, ownership history, original VIN plate, restoration photos and receipts totaling up to $42,052! This is a very well documented, very well restored Jaguar! Finished in the correct Carmen Red, this Jaguar’s paint is deep with a beautiful luster. It is VERY obvious that this car has been properly stored and maintained over the past 49 years! The paint is nearly flawless with no notable imperfections to list. Fitted with the extremely rare combination of 409 cid V-8 and 4 speed manual transmission, this is among the most iconic American classic collector’s finds. Inside, the black seats both front and back, all look great with no major signs of wear visible. The door panels are upholstered in black which compliments the rest of the interior. Inside the car you will also find a nicely finished dash with correct trim bits all in good shape, as well as column mounted tachometer, supplemental gauges, very nice carpet and headliner. Interior also features an AM/FM radio with CD player installed in glove compartment, and 3M window tinting. The Chevrolet Impala is a full size automobile built by Chevrolet for model years 1958 to 1985. Deriving its name from the African antelope of the same name, Chevrolet’s most expensive passenger model through 1965 had become the best-selling automobile in the United States. The 1963 Impala featured rectilinear styling with an engine-turned aluminum rear taillight panel. The Sport Sedan featured a new creased roof line.
