57 PONTIAC STAR CHIEF 2-DOOR HARDTOP COUPE This ’57 Pontiac belonged to my dad, a US Marine who died two years ago. It’s being sold to help raise some $$$ for my stepmom to pay bills. My dad didn't have money or insurance and left some debt. He was always a Pontiac guy at heart. The car is good for the right person who desires to give it the TLC that it deserves. It has all of the components to make it a great cruiser or hotrod. Before my dad died, I got to drive him around for short errands to the Amish fruit market or the hardware store for supplies. It was kind of like driving Miss Daisy, but some really great memories that I will cherish forever. We would love to see it go to a loving home and brought up to its full potential. We would really like to keep it and make it into a cherished ride, but with two boys in college at the same time, that just isn't in the cards for us at this time. It includes: · Engine: 400 V8 · Pontiac Tri-Power Intake and Carbs · 2-door Coupe Hardtop (no “B” pillar when windows are rolled down) · Electric Fuel Pump and Summit Racing regulator · 3spd 350 Turbo Automatic Transmission · Custom dual exhaust to rear bumper · Chrome tailpipes · Lowered Rear Suspension · Shaved door handles – remote electric door release with emergency open feature under the hood · Shaved front hood · Dual “A” pillar search lights · Some paint complete (black with white side stripe) · New rear light / fin inserts · A pile of chrome side molding · A "continental-style" spare tire cover Here are some things it needs: · Interior completion · Transmission rear seal (car has been sitting) · Steering is loose · Gaskets and hoses replaced· Brakes are super touchy from sitting · Rear chrome bumper cones · Finish painting body Here are a few notes: · Rear wheel studs are reverse-thread (!) on this year car (one is missing). A new set of right-handed studs is in the glove box ready to be installed. · Speedometer reads about double actual speed · Odometer and gas gauge are not accurate · Odometer reads 76K but actual is unknown. · A stack of chrome side molding included. CONDITION: BODY My dad was working on restoring the car a little at a time. He had it lowered giving it a cool boulevard-cruiser stance. The door handles were shaved and if you look at a picture of a 57 Star Chief, you'll see that he also had the chrome circle on the front of the hood shaved. New inserts in the taillight fins. Recently, a quality rebuilder looked the car over from top to bottom and reported that the car is very solid, especially considering that it is almost 60 years old! The interior had not been worked on yet, so it needs completely restored (no carpet, small hole in the floor, seats have original cracks, and so on). The body is quite solid, and some of the car is still in black primer. Even though some of the paint was completed, it will need full paint to match. The stainless chrome that is on the car looks great, but the steel chrome around the windows is pitted. Body is very solid and looks good, but isn't perfect as you would expect with a "pre-restoration" vehicle. CONDITION: ENGINE AND DRIVE TRAIN The engine is a 400ci Pontiac V8. Condition of engine internals is unknown. If you are considering a restoration, you would be pulling the engine to inspect and tighten up the seals anyhow (I see a few oil drips). The oil and filter were recently changed. The car sat in the garage as my dad got too ill to drive. In his final months, I got it running again for him. It has a highly desirable tri-power intake and three carbs. He doesn't have the electric chole hooked up so it currently has to be warmed up manually. The exhaust sounds good and strong but not obnoxious. The transmission works fine but will need new seals. Tires have lots of tread from not many miles but they show signs of dry-rotting from sitting. There is an "emergency" electric door release under the hood, and since you can open these old hoods from outside the car, you always have a way to get in. The doors open with solenoids from the key ring remote (the remote needs new batteries, but it worked fine before they died). The steering gearbox seems very loose, meaning you have to move the steering wheel quite a bit in the turns before it starts turning the car. It will need rebuilt or replaced. The brakes were fine when we were driving dad around last summer, but they've gotten super-grabby from sitting too much and therefore need attention. CONDITION: SUMMARY This car could go one of at least two ways. For little money, someone with the right mechanical skills could fix a few things, such as the steering box, and restore the interior and have a decent little 57 in solid pre-restoration condition. Or, if you have the know-how to take it from current condition to ultra-sweet ride - seems like resto-mod would be the thing. Although we have driven it around some, even recently, it is not currently in roadable condition without some work. It can be started and driven onto a trailer for hauling, or it could be driven a very short distance for inspection, but it would not be a good idea to go any further until it has been inspected by a mechanic. DISCLAIMER: AS WITH MOST COLLECTOR-TYPE CARS, THIS CAR IS BEING SOLD AS-IS, WHERE-IS WITH NO WARRANTY OF ANY KIND EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING SUITABILITY FOR INTENDED PURPOSE. IT IS THE BUYER’S RESPONSIBILITY TO PERFORM THEIR DUE DILLIGENCE, INSPECTIONS, RESEARCH, AND ASK ANY QUESTIONS PRIOR TO THE SALE. I will try to answer any questions you may have about this fun car, and we want to disclose anything known about the condition. However, my dad knew the most about it and he is gone now. So please don’t make ANY assumptions. If it isn’t covered in this ad, or you don’t ask about it, assume that it isn’t part of the sale. It is your complete and total responsibility to determine if the car is what you want. We would very much prefer that you find a way to look at the car in-person so we feel confident that you know exactly what you are buying. If you need specific pictures or videos of something or have more questions, please ask! LOCATION / TERMS: The car is located in Central Ohio, northeast of Columbus. Payment after successful auction end is $500 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit within 48 hours through cash or PayPal. Full payment can then be made through cash or bank wire transfer within 7 business days. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs and arrangements plus taxes or other fees or costs they incur as a result of the transfer. We will assist in any way we can. OFFERS: We will entertain reasonable offers. This car is worth the asking price and the goal is to raise money for my dad's widow, my stepmom. So we don't want to wholesale it and this isn't a distress sale. So don't insult us with bottom-feeder offers. But we would also like to get it sold and into the hands of someone who will appreciate it. With all that said, please make reasonable offers. Ok, we’ve tried to list the condition as honestly as possible including most but probably not all defects, but there could be more that we don’t know about. On the good side, it is a handsome car and you feel kind of special cruising around in it. It wouldn’t take much to get it into peak condition. The Pontiac Tri-Power intake and carbs are, of course, highly desirable and worth selling alone, so we are considering selling that separately. We saw a beautifully restored 57 Star Chief ragtop for $60,000! (Google “goodguysclassifieds 1957_Pontiac_Star_Chief” to see it). Not saying this one is worth that much, but it is a special car. They certainly aren’t making any more of them, and it’s worth someone’s time to get it to completion. Are you the right person for this car? Please feel free to contact me with questions. We will accept offers as longs as they are reasonable. The goal here is to raise money for my dad’s widow. Good luck and happy bidding! NOTE: This car is being offered for sale locally as well, so I reserve the right to end this auction early according to eBay rules if it should sell locally prior to receiving a bid.

57 PONTIAC STAR CHIEF 2-DOOR HARDTOP COUPE This ’57 Pontiac belonged to my dad, a US Marine who died last October. It is being sold to help my stepmom raise some $$$ to pay bills. He didn't have any money or insurance and left some debt behind. He was always a Pontiac guy at heart. The car is a really cool start for someone desiring to take it to completion. It has all of the components to make it a great hotrod or cruiser with a little more TLC that my dad will not be able to give it now that he’s gone. Before he died, I drove him around for short errands to the Amish fruit-n-veggie market or the hardware store for supplies. It was kind of like driving Miss Daisy, but some really great memories that I will cherish forever. We would love to see it go to a loving home and brought up to its full potential. We would really like to keep it and make it into a cherished ride, but with not one, but two boys just starting college, that just isn't in the cards for us. Here are a few things it includes: Engine: 400 V8 Pontiac Tri-Power Intake and Carbs2-door Coupe Hardtop (no “B” pillar when windows are rolled down)Electric Fuel Pump3spd 350 Turbo Automatic TransmissionCustom dual exhaust to rear bumperChrome tailpipesLowered Rear SuspensionShaved door handles – remote electric solenoid door release with emergency open featureShaved front hoodDual “A” pillar search lightsSome completed paint (black with white side stripe)Rear light and fin insertsA pile of chrome side molding is includedA "continental-style" spare tire cover Here are some things it needs: Interior completionTransmission rear seal (car has been sitting)Steering gearboxCarb gaskets (see note below)Rear chrome bumper conesFinish painting body Here are a few notes: Rear wheel studs are reverse-thread on this year car (one on drivers side is missing). A whole new set of right-hand thread studs is in the glove box ready to be installed.Speedometer reads about double actual speedOdometer and gas gauge are not accurateActual mileage is unknown. Odometer reads 76K.A stack of chrome side molding is included. It should all be there, but it isn’t guaranteed to be every piece since it is off of the car. CONDITION - BODY: My dad was working on restoring the car a little at a time. The interior had not been worked on yet, so it is completely needing restored. No carpet on the floor, small hole in the floor, seats have original cracks, and so on. The body is quite solid, and some of the car is still in black primer. Even though some of the paint was completed, it will need full paint in order to match and remove any imperfections. I used to help my dad paint cars many years ago, and if I bought this car, I'd want to strip it down to metal and repaint. The stainless chrome that is on the car looks great, but the steel chrome around the windows has pits. So the body is solid, looks good, but isn't perfect as you would expect with a "pre-restoration" vehicle. CONDITION - ENGINE AND DRIVE TRAIN: The engine is a 400ci Pontiac V8. Details on the internals are unknown. Not sure what cam setup or any other details. If you are considering a restoration on this car, you would be pulling it to inspect and tighten up the seals anyhow (I see a few oil drips). The oil and filter were recently changed. The car sat in the garage as my dad was getting too ill to drive. In his final months, I got it running again for him. It has a highly desirable tri-power intake and three carbs. He doesn't have a choke on the carbs so it currently has to be warmed up manually. From last year until just recently, the engine would start easily and purr like a kitten for as long as you let it. Now Ethanol has done a number on the carb gaskets and they are leaking so it won't keep running without your foot on the gas. We have found a gas station in our small town that is selling non-Ethanol gas, so we got some, but too late for the carbs. They need new gaskets. He installed an electric fuel pump, and no return line to the tank. The exhaust sounds good and strong but not obnoxious at all. The transmission works fine but will need new seals. He had replaced all four tires a number of years ago, so even though he didn't put hardly any miles on them, they show small dry-rot cracking from sitting. There is an "emergency" electric door release under the hood for the drivers door solenoid, and since you can open these old hoods from outside the car, you always have a way to get in. The doors open with solenoids from the key ring remote (the remote needs new batteries, it worked fine before they died). The steering gearbox is really loose, meaning you have to move the steering wheel quite a bit in the turns before it starts turning the car. It will need rebuilt or replaced. The brakes were ok when we were driving dad around last summer, but they've gotten super-grabby from sitting too much. CONDITION - SUMMARY: This car could go at least two ways. For little money, someone with the right mechanical skills (or a good mechanic) could fix a few things, such as the steering box, carb gaskets, etc., restore the interior and have a decent little 57 in solid pre-restoration condition. Or, someone with the sense of how to take it from current condition to sweet little ride - seems like resto-mod would be the thing (drive train updated to current but body looking stock) - could have a good starting point. Although we have driven it around some, even recently, it is not currently in roadable condition without some work. It can be started and driven onto a trailer for hauling, or it could be driven a short distance for inspection, but it would not be a good idea to go any further. We will try to answer any questions you may have, and we want to disclose anything we know about the condition of the car. However, my dad knew the most about it and he is gone now. So please don’t make ANY assumptions. If it isn’t covered in this ad, or you don’t ask, assume that it isn’t part of the sale. It is your complete and total responsibility to determine if the car is what you want. We would very much prefer that you find a way to look at the car in-person so we feel confident that you know exactly what you are buying. If you need specific pictures or videos of something or have more questions, please ask! The listing only allows 24 pics, but we have more available if you need to see interior better, plus a short video. Current location of the car is Central Ohio, northeast of Columbus, OH. Payment after successful auction end is $500 NON-REFUNDABLE Deposit within 48 hours through cash or PayPal. Full payment can then be made through cash or bank wire transfer within 7 days. Buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements and costs and taxes or other fees/costs. We will assist in anyway we can. We can get the car to a shipping dock if needed for an additional fee. The car has clear title for easy transfer. If you have 5 or less feedback or less than 99%, email to let us know who you are. I do have a possible little deal-sweetener. If you are interested, just ask. With all that said, please make reasonable offers. Ok, we’ve tried to list the condition as honestly as possible including most but probably not all defects, but there could be more that we don’t know about. On the good side, it is a good looking car and you feel kind of special cruising around in it. It wouldn’t take too much to get it into peak condition. The Pontiac Tri-Power intake and carbs are, of course, highly desirable and worth selling alone, so we are considering selling that separately. We saw a beautifully restored and pristine 57 ragtop Star Chief sell for $59,000! We’re not saying this one is worth that much, but it is a special car and worth someone’s time and money to get it to completion. Are you the right person for this car?

Since the body was in bare metal stage, An epoxy primer was used to seal the body, there were 4 coats applied. Then we used a vera-primer which is a highly buildable primer to make the car flat and straight with crisp body lines from front to rear. All the body lines do match. In between coats of vera prime the car was hand blocked sanded, cleaned then 2 more stages of layers were sprayed with the sanding between each stage. The car was carefully checked by using a ghost primer to sheck if all areas were sanded, then we cleaned the primer, started with the paint stage. Paint Stage: Once the car was painted using base coat clear coat, the car was put into a dry heat building to cure the paint to wet sand the clear coat for a professional appearance. After 2 months, The stages of wet sand are as follows: Wet sand paper stages, 1000, 1200, 1500 and 2000 grit. now between each stage the car was washed thoroughly so the different stage of sand wasn't carried to the next level. After the the car was complete by the wet sand stage, then we used a 3M Buffing compound to buff the clear to a high shine. The car was washed again to clean the surface. The car didn't have the shine I was looking for so I went one more step to make this R/T appearance shine above and beyond all others classic on the web and locally. I went to the next level where most body shops won't, Using a 3M polishing liquid to polish the clear coat. The car now has a High gloss Mirror Finish as it should. You can see the trees and other images in the finish. The car finish is AMAZING! Suspension: The front end has all been rebuilt with PST Suspension parts. Ball joints upper and lower, New Bushings pressed in for the lower control arms, new inner and outer tie rods, Pit man Arm, Steering box arm, new upper control arm bushings were pressed in. Car was a front Large Drum car, which I still have the R/T drums which will be included. Now the car is equipped with front disc brake car with all new parts such as Power Booster, master Cylinder, New calipers, New Brake Pads, New Brake hoses in the front and the rear. New Proportion Valve with new steel brake lines. Rear brake shoes as well were replaced with new equipment parts from Napa Auto Parts. All brakes work as they should. Drums are nice shape. New Wheel cylinders on both sides in the rear. Emergency brake works great. New Parts: Gas Tank, sending unit and tank straps, alternator, 3 core champion radiator for better cooling, new fan blade. New 3/8 Gas lines from front to back, New Electronic Ignition professionally installed with new Distributor, Cap, Rotor, Wires, ECM, new ballast, new wiring conversion kit, Electronic regulator. New 600 CFM EdelBrock 4 bbl Carb, new fuel filters, new spark plugs, Mopar Air Cleaner and Mopar Valve covers, New Fan belts, new fluids after flushing. New pressure power steering hose, battery and new battery tray. New BF GoodRich 15 inch tires in a 70 series.. The exhaust has a factory H-Pipe installed with premium Mufflers. Undercarriage & Frame: The undercarriage, floor boards, frame and inside the trunk have been sand blasted. Por-15 Mermaric Acid was used to clean, seal and paint the surface with a non porous paint. This means the weather elements can't penetrate into the steel causing rust. I used 3 coats of flat black, then 3 coats of semi gloss to give the undercarriage that professional appearance. The undercarriage is mint! This is a rust free California car. Body Color Paint. The color of this car is 1969 Hemi Orange with a slight metallic effect which is in the paint. The paint material is all Dupont. I use Meguiars Car Wash, No waxing needed. Washed by hand, then towel dried. This paint has a mirror finish as you can see in the pictures. This Car has been fully professionally restored. As a solid Rust free car you will not find a better car as we all know most of these Chargers were destroyed from the Dukes of Hazzard, using appox. 323 Cars of 1968-70 Dodge Chargers. The undercarriage is beautiful, mint condition. Never seen Snow, Stored in a locked and guarded facility. Absolutely Beautiful Beyond most other Dodge Chargers that I have seen for sale. Muscle cars like this one don't come along often here. Rebuilding and restoring a General Lee isn't just a paint job, it's going through the entire car to make the car dependable to drive. Present Appearance: The theme of this Dodge Charger R/T has the Appearance of a General Lee replica. All new General Lee Decals which came from the Series with medium Blue for the Flag and lettering. The zero ones are from the same kit as well. Of course is has the loudest Dixie horn available from Italy. The Car even has the Correct Large General Lee Style Push Bar which was professionally designed from a water Plasma Cutter, leaving the edges of the steel smooth. This Push bar has been powder Coated Semi Gloss Black. The Wheels are 15x7 in the front and 15x8-1/2 in the rear. The tires are still in good shape, the wheels are the correct appearance for the General Lee theme. Also included are 4 original American Racing Center caps which are on the car. I have a New set of American Racing Center caps that will be included. These wheels have been powder coated flat black and the edges were polished. There is no Roll bar as the interior costed over $1200. This car has been signed by the characters of the Dukes of Hazzard as well as follows: Enos- Sonny Shroyer, Daisy Duke-Catherine Bach, Cooter-Ben Jones. Yes even Bo Duke John Schneider. This appearance of this General Lee is above and beyond all close up cars seen on the Dukes of Hazzard. Built Right here in Western New York years ago. This car is near mint. Turn key and drive like the Duke Boys. No Bo didn't drive this one as it's way too nice! Just to clarify this car has never been used on the Dukes of Hazzard. This is not a Real General Lee produced by Warner Brothers Production. This is a General Lee Replica that I designed to the specs of a Car used on the Series. This is a real R/T according to the Vin code. Clear registration in hand. If you have any questions, please contact me before bidding. I will provide pictures to the new owner for proof of the restoration as I took pictures to prove this car has been restored. Yes the Flag on the top of the roof is still on the car. Society assumes negatively thoughts on what my General Lee stands for here in Western New York. This car has been in 2 local papers for appearing for Charity such as Breast Cancer, Mercy Flight (Saving lives by helicopters) Children's Hospital. Donations for M.S. & Cancer and also Meals of Wheels for disable and senior citizens of all races. Movie Star cars raise money throughout the United States to help people no matter who they are or their race. Without dreams, hope and faith of these Movie Car replicas, people would lose the childhood memories of the good shows they watched with their families in the past. Seeing a Movie Car Legend coming down the streets anywhere in the world, Brings excitement to everyone that really knows what this car stands for as taken care of Business, Helping others in the time of need, why would we as builders or owners want to stop helping with these charities? I know I will never stop, regardless of what society assumes without the facts. People in History fought for the Confederate flag to end Slavery, lets not forget the people that gave their lives for such a great cause. Furthermore, This flag stands for Charity to all. Now on with the auction. Payment: A Payment of $500.00 must be paid immediately at the end of the auction which is non refundable. The balance must be paid in cash before the car will be transported. I will also accept a wire transfer but it also has to clear my bank fully before the car will be released. No Checks of any kind! The buyer must contact me at the end of the auction. The buyer is responsible for shipping. The car has no warranties, sold as is where is, as this car is 46 years old. I reserve the right to end the auction as the car is advertised locally and online elsewhere in my area of the location specified under Chautauqua New york is were the car is located.

Hi. Thank you for viewing my sale. My name is Brian, and I am a Master Auto Technician with 25 years experience working with, and for Toyota. I have done 4 other swaps at this level......but this is the ultimate one....... This Lexus V8 Miata (Car #2) (Serial #JM1NA3518M1210691) is my finest period correct swap, and without a doubt the hardest, and coolest one I've ever done. Only 2 of these cars have ever been built in the United States to this high standard, and emissions legality. The first was a British racing green prototype (Car #1), which is in a collection in California now, and mine pictured here for sale, which is car number 2. It took over 2 and a half years, working about 16 hours a week to complete. (I documented/logged 1,663 hours) I hired 2 proffesional welders and an exhaust pro of 15 years to make the exhaust. Which is a work of art in itself. One of the welders I needed was a pro at stick, and one to work with chromoly. Myself, and 2 other guys designed a crossmember idea using the original, and built it around the engine using steel and chromoly tubing. Its also designed for ease of service of the engine, and the use of the Miatas rack and pinion steering. Everything from the complete integration of the wiring (*Using OEM Miata to OEM Lexus plugs for the harness*) and full diagnostics (Check Engine/ Trans Codes), to the design of the catalyst systems, A/C and cooling system all had to be thought out, and carefully done. Even the Lexus fuel pump, as well as the Lexus fuel computer is used. No loud Walboro fuel pump whine behind your seat in this car. The Lexus fuel computer monitors voltage, and adjusts according to engine load and demand. Its mounted in the trunk as well as a sealed Optima Red Top high amp battery. Look of originality, and emission legality were vital with this build for me. I used the OEM Lexus "V8" emblems that match the font on the cylinder head plug covers. One on the dash, and one on the right rear above the 2 1/2 stainless tail pipe. Everything works, looks like a factory built sleeper inside and out. Uses a Borla XRS muffler that is quiet and refined. It drives like a Lexus V8 powered Mazda Miata, which is hard to describe. Its very fast, shifts buttery smooth and will chirp gears in ECT power mode. The engine is a 1992 Lexus SC 400 displacing 4 litres, 32 Valves, 6 bolt mains, all aluminum construction and using a factory high rise crossflow intake. Makes 250 Hp/260 lbs of torque and is 100% stock in this car. It uses the stock Lexus 4 speed automatic with ECT, and Lexus engine computer mounted in the Mazda's same stock computer location. It employs a later 97 Miata (open 4.10 rear.... safer for street use, so it wont spin you in a circle),axle set, and Miata powerplant frame. Driveshaft is an OEM Toyota 4WD Hilux/Miata that is custom made and balanced to 93 MPH by (The Driveshaft Shop in SC) My car uses a California compliant Catalytic Converter for use in Pennsylvania. "All" of the Lexus emission controls operate the Mazda's full factory smog equipment. Its all intact and working....not there for looks. Upgraded front brakes (Metal Masters) and front springs (300lbs)(Street car only). All 4 struts are new, and a precision alignment has been done. Car is fully serviced and needs nothing at this time. It's drivability is so stock and smooth, you could use it everyday. It never overheats or runs hot, and I have personally tested and driven it 10,000 real world miles. I use the A/C when its hot outside, even with the top down. This car is garage kept all year round, and I have showed it many times, including twice as Carlisle Import and Kit nationals. Many different types of car people were blown away everytime time they saw it, at any show. My Miata is an excellent alternative to domestic V8 swaps in these cars, where max power, racing and track use was not the main focus. Car gets 20-23 MPG. 10-1 compression is stock for this V8 from the Lexus factory. I spent $4000 just on the engine restoration and rebuild alone using only Lexus OEM parts. The engine had 92K miles on it when I pulled it from a complete 1992 doner SC400. The car itself is clean and rust free. Paint is shiny. It has small dents on the body that are hard to notice on white, and could be removed by a paintless dent pro. The largest on the driverside door. I am not a body guy, only nuts and bolts. It originally "is" an automatic car. "Original Miata shifter with neutral and shift lock out is working". Top is 2 years old and has never been folded down with the window not being unzipped. The parade boot is brand new and used twice. Tires on the car currently are 195/60/14 H rated with 8/32 tread. The white letter tires shown were to big for the stock rims and I removed them. What you will get if you win this auction/sale......... (1) The car.(2) The original set of daisy wheels. (4)(3) A very rare 1986 Toyota W-58 Turbo 2wd 5 speed truck trans with 88k miles on it I personally tested, and know is excellent. If you would want to convert this car to a stick, it can be done. All the parts can be bought easily for a stick swap if you wanted too. (4) A complete factory stock engine crossmember(5) A spare set of nice 97 Miata axles and 4.10 diff Any questions or photos needed, please ask. If you want my home phone number to talk personaly about the car, I encourage it, and will provide it to you. If you do decide to view the car in person by appointment and want to drive it, you must show me a valid drivers licence, and have "money". No "joy drivers" with this particular car. Serious inquire only. ******Note***** Have your funds in order please. I've had 3 time waisters with "I want it" and spent weeks working out details with them. They did not have their funds in order to actually purchase the car. Paypal, or cash in person is the only form of payment. ( $500 dollar non refundable deposit required at the auction or sale end within 48 business day hours from the time of sale. No warranty is expressed or implied. Car is sold as is. Notary services available on site of cars location to assist you in the purchase, and title transfer. Clean title on hand. These details can be worked out on the phone if you are from out of state, and want to ship the car to your location. I will easily work with you via phone, and have a 100% positive feed back on ebay selling my personal cars of the past years. *I noticed that there was a flag concerning the odometer mileage that I was un aware of untill listing. Back on September 8 2005, New Jersey DOT messed up the mileage during testing. I can assure you that the odometer in this car has not been tapered with, and that was a simple mistake made on their part.* Again..... any questions....... please inquire to get my home phone number. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________ Yes guys, some of you made it clear...... What?........ "Automatic?" "How could you go through all that and not make it stick!" Sorry for being an auto sinner, as I was a purist at one time...BUT.... (1) It was made an automatic for one main reason. "Emissions". Changing this to a stick will void its Emissions status. This drivetrain was Emissions certified for the automatic only in the United States. (2) If your not power mad........its 250 HP. It does not need more "Juice". Power was not the main focus with this swap. The stock parts hold up better with an auto......"No driveline shock" ***Its why my car does not need all the re enforcement frame ties, huge rear, axles and so on.*** (3) ***The EPA in this country does not care how much more fun it would be to row gears*** Its purpose and design was street use and Emissons legality only. ******(Note)----- I have recieved some interesting offers public and private for this car. Some have their own wheel and tire ideas, and some do not care about the spare parts and the transmission I'm offering. If you want to make an offer based on getting only the original daisy wheels and no spare parts, I'm willing to negotiate the terms and price to suit your offer.******** ********Please, check your Smog/Emissions laws in your state before bidding.********** If you or your inspector has any questions, please email me or contact me by phone. Regards, Brian

This car has been signed by Bo, Luke and Daisy Duke. It was photographed for documentation and everything is included with the sale of the car! Life for this car started as an original 1969 Dodge Charger! This car was handpicked by the gentleman who had it restored. It was a very solid car to start with! The car went through a two year, extensive restoration with many upgrades. Less than 1500 miles have been logged since completion! This is a show quality car but is also a car that was built to be driven! The fenders, quarters and hood were replaced with brand new, AMD sheet metal. Yes, the doors open! (*Please note the aftermarket sheet metal is new but not laser straight. This car is a high quality build but it was built to simulate the original car and be driven. The body and paint is very, very nice but not done like a high end, flawless show car that is trailered to shows. This car was built to be driven.) The car was painted the correct Hemi orange color and has all the correct decals! Everything on the exterior has been replaced or restored including ALL the tinted glass, trim, lights, bumpers, etc. All of the windows roll up and down smoothly. It has the correct, front end push bar. The headlight doors and hood turn signals work perfectly! The car sits on the correct Vector 15” wheels made by American Racing. Everything works excellent in the interior including the ice cold AC! The painted engine compartment is highly detailed and home to the built 383 V8. This is one of the best running classic cars we have ever owned. The engine purrs like a kitten! The engine was professionally and completely rebuilt. It was bored 30 over and has a Mopar Performance purple cam. Some other engine compartment upgrades include Mopar Performance air cleaner and valve covers, Edelbrock 750 carburetor, 100 amp one wire alternator, MSD ignition and Mopar battery with separate battery cut off knob and functioning Dixie horns. The Dixie horns are activated with the button that would normally control the window washers! The engine breathes through a new 2 ½ aluminized dual exhaust system with Magnaflow mufflers that sound great! The engine is cooled by an aluminum radiator with electric fans. Attached to the radiator is the main fan and there is a secondary fan under the passenger fender that provides extra cooling if needed. This engine runs cool and can be driven anywhere including areas with traffic! The engine is coupled to a completely rebuilt 727 automatic transmission that shifts very smoothly. A transmission cooler was added to prevent overheating so once again the car could be driven anywhere with no issues! The power is transferred to the new driveshaft and newly rebuilt 8 ¾ rear end with a 489 center section. It has 3.55 gears which allow it to cruise on the highway without the tachometer getting high! Power steering! Power brakes with front discs! The undercarriage has been completely painted with a Rhino Liner type paint that prevents road noise and chips. The front end has been completely rebuilt. It has front and rear sway bars, big block torsion bars and KYB shocks. It also has a new gas tank with sending unit and much more! Hi, and thank you for visiting my auction/sale. My name is Brian, and i have been a Master Automobile Technician for 22 years. The last 4 of those as a Master Trained Watchmaker. I have been a huge fan of Toyota's all my life even before I could first drive. Back in 1986 my friend down the street, who was 14 years old at the time, called me on the telephone and said, "Hey, you got to ride down to my house and see what my dad just bought." So, i do. As I ride my bike up his parents 450 foot black topped driveway, the second bay garage door opens, and parked inside is a 6 month old Silver, 1985 Toyota Supra Mk2 5 speed with grey cloth. Wow! That is the coolest Toyota I have ever seen. Exotic car like in a sense to a 15 year old who's parents drove 60hp beetles. I knew right then that I was going to own one of those someday. Fast forward to now. I have always built fast cars, and never bought them. My extensive automotive, and watchmaker skill sets have allowed me to be creative in building from scratch, motor swapped cars. For 15 years, i focused mainly on the 82-85 generation Toyota Celica, and Supra's working with the 7mgte, 22RTE and 1JZgte Turbo engines. My philosophy has been that drivabilty and reliability always take presidence over having max, head gasket blowing power. Always using the stock computers limits. That is until one day, my friend stops over at my garage and says he was interested in building a 5.0 Ford V8 powered Mazda Miata. He says that a kit can be bought to do it. My reply was that if I was going to put a V8 in Miata, it would be one from a Toyota. He says that "nobody makes a kit for that swap". My reply is... "We will make one"__________________________________________________________________________________________________ This White Lexus V8 Miata (Car #2) (Serial #JM1NA3518M1210691) is my finest period correct swap, and without a doubt, the hardest and most complex I have ever done. Only 2 of these cars have ever been built in the United States to this high standard, and emissions legality. It took over 2 and a half years, working about 16 hours a week to complete. One of the welders I needed was a pro at stick, and one to work with chromoly. The Lexus fuel computer monitors voltage, and adjusts according to engine load and demand. Its mounted in the trunk as well as a sealed Optima Red Top high amp battery. I'm a very type A person, so details such as quality, look of originality, and emission legality were vital with this build for me. "All" of the Lexus emission controls operate the Mazda's full factory smog equipment. Its all intact and working....not there for looks. I use the A/C when its hot outside, even with the top down. The Lexus SC400 curbed at 3800 lbs using 3.30 gears. The Mazda after the swap with the Lexus V8....2600 lbs with a full tank and 4.10's......no cheating. Car gets 20-23 MPG and only runs on premium gas. If you would want to take this off the street and race it, the bar wont save your life. Street use looks, not race. Why the sale? I'm getting ready to retire from the automobile repair industry. I want to become self employed as full time watchmaker to service, restore and repair Rolex and other high grade chronograph watches. What you will get if you win this auction/sale......... (1) The car.(2) The original set of daisy wheels. (4)(3) A very rare 1986 Toyota W-58 Turbo 2wd 5 speed truck trans with 88k miles on it I personally tested, and know is excellent. "The Truth Is".........I spent my whole life in the auto repair industry and......... If you need more power, then the Chevy engine is the way to go. No doubt! ********Check your Smog laws in your state before bidding.********** If you or your inspector has any questions, please email me or contact me by phone.
