1964 Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty Special Sedan Only 125,000 One Owner Miles Original Rust Free Survivor with Nice Patina Fresh Braking System and New Radial Tires!! Runs and Drives Fantastic!! Rare Opportunity............................LOW RESERVE 1964 CAdillacs are becoming more and more Collectable! Greetings to All!! Greetings to All!! imotors is quite pleased to offer this rare opportunity to own a totally original, AND Driveable/Dependable 1964 Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty Special Sedan!! If you can get past the paint, which isn't so awful< you will just LOVE this car!!! The 64's are quite significant being the last Cadillac to have fins!!!! Also, first year for 429 engine, and the TH400 Transmission!!! This particular example has spent most of it's life in Minnesota. It was purchased at an estate/Liquidation sale, and ended up in my backyard. I purchased it from a fellow who just did not have the means to care for it properly, or bring it to the level that you see here. It is mechanically fantastic with me doing a full brake service(Hoses, cylinders etc.),and an oil and filter change. I also had the four "L78x15" bias plies removed, and had 4 new Radials fitted. Someone else recently did the exhaust. There is a copy of a service bill below, from 2001, with 24,997 miles. It now has 25,211...and I put 57 of those on myself! So....It hasn't been on the road in almost 15 Years! This Fleetwood now runs and drives like a dream!!!! It has been ultra dependable, and has not even had as much as the slightest hiccup!!!! What is totally amazing to me is HOW NICE this Cadillac really is, being as it came from Minnesota. I cannot find any hint of rust anywhere!!! The chrome is bright and shiny with zero signs of pitting or damage. There is a very small ding down low on the passengers side of the rear bumper....That is It!!!! All stainless is nice and straight with nice shine to it. All gaps and shut lines are nice and straight!! With a nice paint job, this one will be a show stopper!!! This is a totally original, never been apart 1964 Cadillac. The left rear quarter panel has had paint....That is all! I didn't even have it detailed. I washed it and took pictures. The interior is in perfect condition, and should clean up to look like a new 50 year old Cadillac!!! All power equipment works well, EXCEPT.......Passenger front vent window, and left rear door windows are not working. Radio squeals. Clock(of course), A/C blows, but not cold. Vacuum locks lock, but don't unlock(loose hose?). Everything else works fine, and this Cadillac hits the road 100%. As I mentioned above, get past the paint, and you have a REALLY nice original 50 year old Cadillac here! It is the worst part of the car! Note the condition of the chrome.....It it utterly amazingly NICE!! The bumper ends all around have no rot, or pits showing. That is amazing for an original 50 year old car! Notice how nice and straight all of the bumper gaps are! Never any damage! No pits or rust here! In this Photo you can see how nice and straight the rear bumper alignment is. Looks like it did 50 years ago!. As I'm sure you all know, it is very typical to have some rust under the vinyl top. The roof will develop little bumps underneath the material. This one is not near as bad as some I have seen! All emblems are present and accounted for!. There is no mistake!! This is definitely the top of the line Cadillac!!!! Notice how nice and straight the front bumper and grille area are! Extremely hard to duplicate originality!! . No pits or rust on the front bumper!ll! The wood throughout our 60 Special is simply Gorgeous. Again, totally original! No rust in the jambs! None of the typical cracks here!! Our 1964 Fleetwood still proudly wears its factory floor mats!! Front carpet is threadbare in spots, but no holes. The sumptuous interior is in fantastic condition and is certainly commensurate with the low mileage and excellent care our Gorgeous 64 Fleetwood has seen throughout its 50 year life. Beautiful 60's style dash with plenty of chrome. Still original, and in perfect condition! This is the bottom of the left rear door. Beautiful wood only found in the Fleetwood....The pinnacle of luxury. This is at the back of the the left rear door opening! This is the bottom of the right rear door! All totally unrestored and original! This is at the back of the the right rear door opening! In 1964 This was the "Standard of the World"! There are no weather cracks in the dash pad, and the burl wood glistens brightly! Low Mileage for a 50 year old car....Driven only 2500 miles a year! I would guess that even in 1964 Factory installed air conditioning was still a rarely installed option, even on Cadillacs. Ours has "Comfort Control" climate controlled Heat and A/C! . It is a rust and accident free example with only 92,000 miles since new. Everything about this car exudes loving ownership and care towards the car. The Eldorado has been thoroughly serviced and is ready for touring and showing. We acquired this for our personal collection but we regret that it must be offered for sale. When we bought the car it was largely in its original livery with many areas having been touched up over the years. In June 2014 we repainted it in the original color of Sheffield Firemist (Code 92) with a nice quality two stage base coat clear coat. The color combination of the silver with red interior is just simply stunning! The trim items, chrome and stainless are all original and in very good to excellent condition. One look at this Eldorado and it is obvious this has been garage kept. The interior has all of its original leather. We were planning on re-dying the front leather seats to keep it original but some may choose to replace the front leather. We prefer the originality. There are no cracks in the dash or steering wheel which are common issues for those cars not garage kept. This is a very well optioned Eldorado. The air conditioning has been completely converted to R134 and works beautifully. The power windows, seat and top all work well. We’ve performed all major and minor maintenance. We’ve put about 2,000 miles on the car and it is a dream to drive! The five wide white wall Coker radials are new with only the 2,000 miles driven thus far. The 429 cu in V8 has 340 HP and is a dream to drive! The car was bought new in Miami , Evelyn Hill. We bought the Eldorado from Evelyn’s son, Pat Hill. Pat was the very first to say that his mother was quite the character. She was raised in New York by a very successful self-made man. He made his fortunes building thousands of homes for the Endicott coal miners in Pennsylvania. She was his favorite thing and raised her to be quite the pistol. When she got into a little bit of trouble he thought it was funny, which made for a very colorful and dynamic adult. Evelyn raced cars, belonged to country clubs, enjoyed her gin and tonics and smoked cigarettes. She also had quite a vocabulary which frequently included language as colorful as herself. She was also quite the player, having had five husbands and dating many notable people, including dukes and dignitaries from around the world. She was a long-time member of The Jockey Club of Miami (the Eldorado still bears the window decals of her membership). She evidently drove the Eldorado in a very spirited manner, but luckily never had an accident. Pat recounted that his mother went to the Miami Cadillac dealer and fell in love with the flashy Eldorado convertible and somehow managed to buy it out from under a basketball player who also wanted it. Luckily, her two-bedroom home in elegant Coral Gables had a one-car garage. The Eldorado was never left out in the elements and was always garaged. The car saw little highway use. It was used mainly for driving around town and to the club. By 1975 Pat had married Bunny and they had their first child. Pat and Bunny met at McPherson College and settled in Wichita where Pat took over an advertising agency. Evelyn wanted to be near her first grandchild and decided to move to Wichita. She sold her home in Florida, bought a house a half block away from her new grandchild and had the Eldorado shipped to Wichita because she didn’t want to add miles to the car. She continued to use the Eldorado as her daily driver until her death in 2007. Pat and Bunny inherited the car and kept it in good repair but used it little (one of Evelyn’s last requests was that they take good care of the Eldorado). ColorRedTitleClearThis is a wonderful 1965 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible that has been loved by one woman and her son since new. It is a rust and accident free example with only 92,000 miles since new. Everything about this car exudes loving ownership and care towards the car. The Eldorado has been thoroughly serviced and is ready for touring and showing. We acquired this for our personal collection but we regret that it must be offered for sale. When we bought the car it was largely in its original livery with many areas having been touched up over the years. In June 2014 we repainted it in the original color of Sheffield Firemist (Code 92) with a nice quality two stage base coat clear coat. The color combination of the silver with red interior is just simply stunning! The trim items, chrome and stainless are all original and in very good to excellent condition. One look at this Eldorado and it is obvious this has been garage kept. The interior has all of its original leather. We were planning on re-dying the front leather seats to keep it original but some may choose to replace the front leather. We prefer the originality. There are no cracks in the dash or steering wheel which are common issues for those cars not garage kept. This is a very well optioned Eldorado. The air conditioning has been completely converted to R134 and works beautifully. The power windows, seat and top all work well. We’ve performed all major and minor maintenance. We’ve put about 2,000 miles on the car and it is a dream to drive! The five wide white wall Coker radials are new with only the 2,000 miles driven thus far. The 429 cu in V8 has 340 HP and is a dream to drive! The car was bought new in Miami , Evelyn Hill. We bought the Eldorado from Evelyn’s son, Pat Hill. Pat was the very first to say that his mother was quite the character. She was raised in New York by a very successful self-made man. He made his fortunes building thousands of homes for the Endicott coal miners in Pennsylvania. She was his favorite thing and raised her to be quite the pistol. When she got into a little bit of trouble he thought it was funny, which made for a very colorful and dynamic adult. Evelyn raced cars, belonged to country clubs, enjoyed her gin and tonics and smoked cigarettes. She also had quite a vocabulary which frequently included language as colorful as herself. She was also quite the player, having had five husbands and dating many notable people, including dukes and dignitaries from around the world. She was a long-time member of The Jockey Club of Miami (the Eldorado still bears the window decals of her membership). She evidently drove the Eldorado in a very spirited manner, but luckily never had an accident. Pat recounted that his mother went to the Miami Cadillac dealer and fell in love with the flashy Eldorado convertible and somehow managed to buy it out from under a basketball player who also wanted it. Luckily, her two-bedroom home in elegant Coral Gables had a one-car garage. The Eldorado was never left out in the elements and was always garaged. The car saw little highway use. It was used mainly for driving around town and to the club. By 1975 Pat had married Bunny and they had their first child. Pat and Bunny met at McPherson College and settled in Wichita where Pat took over an advertising agency. Evelyn wanted to be near her first grandchild and decided to move to Wichita. She sold her home in Florida, bought a house a half block away from her new grandchild and had the Eldorado shipped to Wichita because she didn’t want to add miles to the car. She continued to use the Eldorado as her daily driver until her death in 2007. Pat and Bunny inherited the car and kept it in good repair but used it little (one of Evelyn’s last requests was that they take good care of the Eldorado).
