G And S Motors LLC WeLoveCoolCars.com +1 828 674-6155 1967 Ferrari 330GTC According to barchetta.cc, #8773 was actually devlivered in 1966 and just the 9th 330 built. Until we bought it in 2011 this 330GTC was in the same ownership from 1977. In the 90’s the engine was rebuilt by guru Bob Wallace and later, it was given a wonderful, preservation-minded sympathetic restoration by a marquee specialist. It is a "matching numbers” car as detailed in the pics below. The odometer reads 65,948 kilometers, or approx 40,950 miles, which we and experts who have viewed this beauty believe to be accurate and original. Call Ken +1 828 674 6155 or email [email protected] Adding a little flavor to it’s history, is the fact that this beauty is a movie star! It featured in School for Scoundrels and played a supporting role to Denzel Washington in American Gangster. We’ve just given it a fluid change service, changed the plugs and wires and changed the fuel pump. It runs and drives very well with no concerns whatsoever. All lights and gauges work. it’s been fitted with a professionally installed modern a/c system. YOU CAN SEE 200 PICS BY CLICKING HERE VALUE Recent publc sales: 2015 Gooding & Co. G And S Motors LLC WeLoveCoolCars.com +1 828 654-3222 1939 Mercedes 170V Cabriolet Successor to the W15 six-cylinder 170 model, the 170V, internal code W136, was slightly larger than its predecessor, more powerful and fitted with a 1,697 cc inline L-head four-cylinder engine, four-speed manual gearbox, four-wheel independent suspension, and four-wheel hydraulic drum brakes. Introduced in 1936, it had a more streamlined body than the 170 and was sold at a lower price. The “V” signified vorn, German for front, distinguishing it from the rear-engine 170 H model, with the “H” standing for heck, or rear. The 170V’s reliability and ease of use meant that it fell naturally to taxi work, which is a role that Mercedes continues in Germany to this day. THIS CAR This 170V, delivered in August 1939 through the Daimler-Benz Königsberg branch, has the unusual cabriolet saloon body. It is essentially a four-door with a fold-back black fabric roof that gives open air to all passengers when opened. The side rails and windows, however, remain in place, providing shelter from the wind and cold. The 170V was the most popular Mercedes model in its day, with more than 70,000 built from 1936 to 1942. The Cabriolet Saloon, however, is one of the more unusual variations, and it is seldom seen today. Certainly, they are rarely seen in this condition. This is a stunning car and looks every bit of ten times the actual price! This beautiful 170V was part of a substantial European Mercedes collection for many years. It sat proudly next to 300SL’s and pre-war 500K and 540K Roadsters, until 2013 when I purchased it and brought it to America for the first time in it’s long life. This isn’t one of the fastest cars in my stable but it certainly is one of the most appreciated. The black paint has a deep shine and very few blemishes. The brightwork has all been recently re-plated. The car is upholstered in tan leather, which is all in excellent condition. The dashboard is painted gloss black and presents very well, whilst tan carpet lines the floor. A day-night mirror is mounted above the windscreen. The rear of the car has an exposed spare tire with a fitted black fabric cover. The engine compartment and undercarriage are finished to an excellent standard and fully functional. HERE’S A SHORT VIDEO OF THIS 170V STARTING AND DRIVING This beauty will turn heads and get the “thumbs up” wherever you go. People love it and it will be very much appreciated at any concours event. I purchased this car last year from a large European Mercedes collection and brought it to America for the first time in it’s long life. It isn’t the fastest car in my stable but it certainly is one of the most appreciated. The previous owner had this car inspected in 2010 by Norbert Shroeder of Kleofactum in 2010. (see this Bloomberg article about Norbert Shroeder). Here is a scanned copy of the inspection from 2010 (minus pics). It was written as an “appraisal”, but values were not given to any of the cars. G And S Motors LLC WeLoveCoolCars.com +1 828 654-3222 1935 Mercedes 170 Sedan Mercedes’ bread-and-butter car in the 1930s was the 170, which was introduced in 1931. As a six-cylinder model, it was compact yet advanced. The wheelbase was a scant 2,600 millimeters but, on this modest chassis, the manufacturers fitted a 1.7-litre six, fully independent rear suspension (twin transverse leaf springs at the front and swing axles at the rear), four-wheel hydraulic brakes and central lubrication, which kept the chassis in excellent condition. Nearly 14,000 were built through 1936, but few survive to this day and fewer still in this amazing condition. THIS CAR This smart looking saloon was delivered through the Daimler-Benz Dresden branch in October 1935 to Herr Karl Harlüng, of Pirna, Germany, as per a copy of the factory data card. Included is also the original owner’s manual, as well as Harlüng’s original registration documents. It has since been the recipient of a restoration, where it was finished in maroon with black wings. The roof has a black vinyl insert that is outlined in aluminum moldings. The original owners manual and original German registration. I’ve never seen a pre-war car with these docs before! The body is by Mercedes-Benz Karosserie at Sindelfingen, the same location where Mercedes were producing the iconic 500K and 540K Special Roadsters. This stunning sedan carries it's emblem, as well as trafficators, which are mounted to the front door posts. The headlamp bar has a medallion for ÖAMTC, an Austrian motor club that was founded in 1896 and is apparently equivalent to the Automobile Association. SEE OVER 100 PICS HERE!!! The interior has tan leather seats and matching door panels in vinyl. They show some careful use but no excessive wear. The beige carpets are in very good condition and the headliner is unblemished. There is a boot at the rear, with a spare tire mounted behind it. The engine compartment is nicely detailed. I purchased this car last year from a large European Mercedes collection and brought it to America for the first time in it’s long life. It isn’t the fastest car in my stable but it certainly is one of the most appreciated. The previous owner had this car inspected in 2010 by Norbert Shroeder of Kleofactum at which time it was given a “2+” rating. (see this Bloomberg article about Norbert Shroeder). Here is a scanned copy of the inspection from 2010 (minus pics). It was written as an “appraisal”, but values were not given to any of the cars. This car is a very nice example of an early model 170 that's ready for your next pre-war concours. It turns heads and gets the "thumbs-up" wherever we go. The V-8 engine was shared with the Mondial, enlarged to 3.4 liters and mounted longitudinally in a steel rear sub-frame with a transverse gearbox. Low and sleek, the Pininfarina -designed 348 provided continuity with the prior 308/328 models while sharing several cues with the dramatic Testarossa. Capable of reaching 170 mph, the 348 utilized fully independent suspension with revised geometry and a low center of gravity, courtesy of the engine’s low placement within the chassis. Brakes were large-diameter discs with ABS. The 348 was initially available in "TB" Berlinetta and "TS" Targa form, and a full-convertible Spyder debuted in 1994. Production of the 348 continued through mid -1995 until the F355 succeeded the model. G And S Motors LLC WeLoveCoolCars.com +1 828 654-3222 1970 Mazda Cosmo L10B A great example of Mazda’s first rotary-engined car. Last year, I bought this L10B Cosmo and a 110S Cosmo from one of Japan’s largest rotary-engine car collectors. Chassis number 777 was the car that he drove most frequently to Cosmo Owner’s Club meetings and car shows because of it’s cool chassis number and excellent condition. Chassis 777 in the Japanese collection sitting proudly in the middle of 6 Cosmos. This wonderful Cosmo has only ever been sympathetically restored and therefore never fully apart. This means that it will drive better and will remain more solid than a car that’s been taken apart and put back together. These, like many older cars are rarely the same again after having been disassembled. The steering wheel, air cleaner, wheels and hubcaps are all correct and original to this car. These are often missing and if you compare this car to recent auctions, you’ll see the majority of cars on offer without these difficult to find original pieces. They typically sport custom rims and steering wheels and other odd pieces. The only car that I’ve seen in person, which I think is superior to this car an L10A, which had been restored to an impeccable standard and which sold for $264,000 at the Gooding and Co Pebble Beach auction last year. You can see from the pics below that the undercarriage remains in excellent original condition without rust issues and without any structural issues or repairs. The paint was done long enough ago to bear some patina, but not so long ago that it looks to need refurbishment. The interior is exceptional, you will notice correct and perfect seats, original diamond pattern leather and a brand new carpet. The rear window has a period mesh style “tint” with the words “Cosmo Sport Owner’s Club” visible near the base of the rear window. The dashboard looks to be all original and excellent. > YOU CAN SEE A OVER 100 PICS BY CLICKING HERE < This super-cool JDM classic runs and drives very well and the cabin has been fitted with an aftermarket a/c which blows very cold! Here’s a short video “drive-by” http://youtu.be/Zb5cTRxCjlg I first drove this car in Japan, in Tokyo traffic, with the heat and humidity of late summer and the a/c performed very well. This car also holds the unique distinction of being the only car that I’ve driven in an elevator. Parking in Tokyo. Driving 777 into an elevator! Mazda Cosmos were hand built at the rate of approximately one per day. It’s believed that there were only 1,176 L10B Cosmos built between 1968 and 1972. The Series II/L10B was introduced in July, 1968. It had a more-powerful 128 hp 0813 engine, power brakes, 15 inch wheels and a 5-speed manual transmission. The wheelbase had been expanded by 15 inches for more room and a better ride. This Cosmo was good for over 120 mph and could accelerate to cover a quarter mile in 15.8 seconds. This car has a clean and clear title. It comes with a set of tools, a jack, a spare tire and other goodies. G And S Motors LLC WeLoveCoolCars.com +1 828 654-3222 1968 Alfa Romeo Giulia Super 1600 This Alfa is just fantastic. It runs and drives like a one or two year old “used” car. It starts, runs, drives, brakes, as well as any 1960’s car that I’ve owned. It’s fun and nimble and gets attention wherever it goes. HERE’S A SHORT VIDEO DRIVING THIS ALFA! I was in Paris in February last year at Retromobile. My partner and I had just broken the public-sale record for a Lamborghini Miura S. The next day, a wonderful Alfas-only collection was being auctioned. I looked through every car and fell in love with this one. I went head to head with a very well known European Alfa collector for this car and EVENTUALLY, I was victorious. The focus of my collection is shifting now and i just don’t drive this beauty as much as it deserves. From the Artcurial auction listing: Chassis n° AR872016 ~ Engine n° AR0056*60040 According to factory records, this Giulia saloon left the factory on 22 May 1968 and was delivered new on 31 May of the same year to Ancône in Italy. It didn't change hands again until 2008, representing 40 years with the same owner! Sympathetically restored, the well-preserved coachwork has benefitted from new paintwork in the stunning crimson red colour. Inside, the light brown leatherette upholstery is in perfect condition, on both the front seats and the rear bench seat with fold-down central armrest. The well-presented dashboard features a Voxson Stereo 8 radio, an audio system with four speakers and an electric aerial. The engine compartment, with original engine, is impeccable and appears to have a new wiring loom and all mechanical elements in good, clean condition. The boot is the same and comes with original jack. The wheels are in good condition and fitted with little worn tyres. The car comes with its service book. This Giulia has a 102 bhp 1600 engine mated to a five-speed gearbox, giving it a great performance and a top speed of 170 km/h. In period, this was one of the most outstanding mid-range saloons of its type, more than capable of keeping up with more powerful cars, due to its excellent handing and aerodynamic styling. Faithful to the sporting image of the marque, this car will also provide the future owner with the pleasure of owning an example presented to a much higher standard than usual for the model. This car has a clean and clear title, in hand. It is located at my facility near Ashevile NC Airport. OVER 100 MORE PICS HERE! Certified by the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust. This stunning TR6 was purchased for a major collection at auction in 2011. The seller, as it turned out, was also the owner of a major collection. This is what Sports Car Market said at the time: "Condition Description - Excellent panel fit. Very good paint shows some light polish scratches. Virtually no wear to interior. Fitted with correct type replacement engine." "Market Opinion - A stunning presentation of a very well and correctly restored TR6 in a dramatic period color, original to this car as confirmed by the Heritage Certificate. Close attention to detail was apparent and at this price the restoration alone could never be duplicated. Well bought." This Triumph has seen little to no use since that time and is still in amazing condition. So, after having sat in two major collections for all of these years, how about a regular guy buys this beauty and drives the heck out of it! It’s ready! It can handle it! G And S Motors LLC WeLoveCoolCars.com +1 828 654-3222 Very rare, very early 1935 Mercedes 170 Sedan Mercedes’ bread-and-butter car in the 1930s was the 170, which was introduced in 1931. This smart looking saloon was delivered through the Daimler-Benz Dresden branch in October 1935 to Herr Karl Harlüng, of Pirna, Germany, as per a copy of the factory data card. Included is also the original owner’s manual, as well as Harlüng’s original registration documents. It has since been the recipient of a restoration, where it was finished in maroon with black wings. The roof has a black vinyl insert that is outlined in aluminum moldings. The original owners manual and original 1935 registration! This car is a very nice example of the early model 170 that's ready for your next pre-war concours. It turns heads and gets the "thumbs-up" wherever we go. >>> SEE OVER 100 PICS BY CLICKING HERE <<< If you have any QUESTIONS or have a trade-in.. [email protected] 5527 Lakeview Road, Charlotte, NC, 28269, US 1966 Lincoln Continental Documented 37,580 Actual Mile Continental 462 V8 C6 Speed Survivor Year: 1966 Type of vehicle title: Clear Primary color: Blue Mileage: 37580 Transmission type: 3 Speed Automatic Engine: 462 V8 Interior color: White Vehicle info In the heyday of American luxury, the mantras 'bigger is better' and 'more is better' were alive and well. Cars from Cadillac, Lincoln and Imperial were large, isolated, came equipped with massive torque rich motors and provided an extremely comfortable ride that was second only to a cruise ship. This 1966 Continental Coupe is a spectacular survivor that has been immaculately maintained by two owners throughout its entire 46 year existence. With a solid body, an all-original drivetrain, and a lavish interior, it mixes one of America's biggest V8s with the arctic-cool class that only a 60s Lincoln can deliver. If you're one of the many enthusiasts who's always dreamed of owning a big American cruiser that's high on style and loaded with comfort, we have the car for you! Included with the sale of this cool old survivor is an original window sticker which breaks down as follows: FLETCHER LINCOLN-MERCURY80 Franklin PlaceSummit, New Jersey LINCOLN CONTINENTAL COUPE: $5,447.40Assembled in: Wixom, MichiganHuron Blue: $00Vinyl twin front and rear floor mats: $12.74Leather trim: $110.27Six-way power seat: $82.64Embassy roof: $120.24White sidewall 915x15 four ply tires: $56.47Power vent windows: $71.13Automatic temperature control: $519.82AM radio/stereo tape system: $242.80Tinted glass: $52.163-way non-glare rearview mirror: $4.62Spare tire cover and license plate frame: $20.49Power door locks and door edge guards: $49.00 TOTAL OPTIONS: $1,342.38 DESTINATION CHARGE: $104.50 TOTAL RETAIL PRICE: $6,894.28 Manufactured in Wixom, Michigan; sold in Summit, New Jersey; and originally owned by Lieutenant Colonel Jose Diaz of Annandale, Virginia, this classy Continental coupe is a 37,580 mile two-owner survivor that presents well and performs great! As you can probably tell, the car still displays most of its original Huron Blue paint, and despite the character you'd expect a half-century old single stage finish to acquire, remains in outstanding condition. Under that paint, solid body panels are straight and rust-free, build gaps are still at factory standards and, judging by the car's slick appearance, it's probably been subjected to a downright militant maintenance schedule. By 1966 Lincoln was facing two problems. First and foremost their flagship Continental was getting a bit long in the tooth. And secondly the brand was having a hard time luring affluent, Cadillac-bound luxury buyers into the Ford family. They remedied both of those problems with brand new sheetmetal and the official introduction of this car; the fourth generation Continental coupe. At the front of the car, a traditional 'simple square' grille floats behind bright halogen headlights and a sculpted chrome bumper that's complete with newly re-integrated parking lights. On top of that grille, a new "CONTINENTAL" script is perfectly centered below a 'four point' Lincoln emblem; and at the sides of that grille stainless capped, knife-edge fenders begin a solid, slab-sided profile. At the top of the car, an original vinyl top frames a familiar curved windshield which is bordered by straight stainless trim and cleared by satin stainless wipers. Below that windshield an original power antenna functions just as Henry Ford intended; and behind that windshield, a chrome remote driver's mirror perfectly complements factory tinted side glass and stainless trimmed back glass. At the sides of the car, a conservative combination of ornate and functional items provides the timeless appearance 60s Lincolns are known for. Swept fender trim, dent-free rocker moldings and original door edge guards ensure that all contact points are protected from renegade road debris. And original door handles, polished original fender trim, mostly original Lincoln emblems and completely original "CONTINENTAL" fender scripts add just the right amount of flash and detail. At the back of the car, knife-edged fenders hang small reflectors above a second sculpted bumper that's complete with clear reverse lamps. Inside that bumper, simple square tail lights are stylish, wide and function just as well as the day they left the showroom. And above that bumper, a fourth 'four point' Lincoln emblem is mounted horizontally to hide the car's trunk lock cylinder. Part of Lincoln's 60s appeal was their rock solid safety, and marketing for the fourth generation Continental often boasted more weight than both Cadillac and Imperial. Naturally, a big luxurious car needs a big torque-rich motor; and at 340 horsepower and 485 lb./ft. of silky smooth grunt, this coupe's numbers matching 462 cubic inch MEL V8 fits the bill just perfectly! Highly original, the engine bay features correct markings and is in excellent condition throughout. It's not concours by any means, but it is incredibly tidy and has obviously been well-maintained from day one. Fresh Ford Blue paint covers the freshly tuned engine and freshly decaled air cleaner, which supplies air to a fully rebuilt Carter 4-barrel carburetor. All the major service items are in 100% functional condition, including the factory AC, tagged Autolite Sta-Ful battery, Autolite coil, new electronic distributor and fresh Carquest suppression cables. The satin black inner fenders are solid, the firewall is in excellent condition, and all the other places you'd think rust would hide are instead clean and untouched. I'd venture to say this Lincoln is every bit as road ready and powerful as it was back in 1966! For 1966, the Continental was equipped with a specially prepared version of Ford's reliable and sturdy C6 3-speed automatic transmission. This coupe's original C6 drives a mild set of 3.00 gears which provide effortless high-speed highway cruising. That fully-sorted drivetrain rides on a factory undercarriage that, like the car's engine bay, is clean and honest. And in the middle of the floors, a fresh factory replacement exhaust system provides quiet, confident motoring. Stops are handled by power front disc and rear drum brakes which are in good condition and show no signs of rot. Turns come courtesy of factory power steering that works hard to transform Titanic-size radiuses into tug boat-size rotations. And at the corners of the car, fresh 235/75 Firestone whitewalls spin 15 inch steel wheels around original satin-finished hubcaps. Trust me, you've never experienced highway cruising unless you've been in a car like this. Between its powerful V8, cavernous interior and solid, weighty suspension, it's the perfect environment for long road trips and scenic cross-country adventures. And over the past few years, the car's previous owner executed many small detail repairs which ensure this Lincoln will continue to be a competent road warrior for years to come. Speaking of that cavernous interior, open the car's well-aligned doors and you'll find a well-maintained cockpit that's both stylish and comfortable. The six-way power front and manual rear bench seats are firm and supple, with no signs of age or even so much as a frayed edge. Above those seats, a taut headliner is stretched between bright stainless pillar trim. At the sides of those seats, ornate and equally pristine door panels hang exquisite wood trim below modernist chrome buttons. And at the bottom of those seats, like-new carpet rides under original rubber floor mats. Modern conveniences such as power windows, power vent windows, power door locks, air conditioning and an original restored AM/FM 8-track stereo all look good, function properly and add a nice level of convenience to an already satisfying driving experience. In front of the driver, a stylish chrome steering wheel spins a black rim around a chrome column shifter and a pristine dash that's complete with a fully functional NOS clock. And behind the cockpit a large, carpeted trunk props what may very well be the car's original spare tire between a large storage bin and an original decklid decal. Documentation for this classy Lincoln cruiser includes an original order form, an original window sticker, original dealer paperwork, an original owner's manual, original warranty books, an original warranty card, the first owner's original financing papers from the Pentagon Credit Union, and various maintenance and service receipts. You simply won't find more car for your money than this super cool Lincoln. It's stylish, comfortable, reliable, and still commands a lot of respect on the highway. G And S Motors LLC WeLoveCoolCars.com +1 828 654-3222 1964 BMW 3200CS VERY Rare 8-cyllinder BMW Bertone coupe. Fantastic car to drive and mechanically sorted. We just did a HUGE engine out service, which included replacing all of the gaskets in the pic below. Desirable Matching-Numbers Example One of Just 603 Produced (and maybe one of 10 in the USA) The last 8 cyllinder car built by BMW for nearly 30 years. The same "DNA" as the multi-million dollar 507. Single-Family Care for 27 Years and then part of a significant BMW collection. Sympathetic Restoration Using Original Parts. Complete with File Containing Restoration Documents and Original Kraftfahrzeugbrief Complete with a very hard to get workshop manual! Runs and drives great! Mechanically very well sorted. All electrics work. Very nice cosmetic condition, with good paint, glass, metal and fantastic interior patina. >>> YOU CAN SEE 100 PICS BY CLICKING HERE <<< Everything you want from a car like this... includes a stack of receipts and history, a fresh service, great exterior and an interior with great patina. All electrics, wipers, lights, signals, gauges and radio work well. Please review all of the pics on the link above carefully before bidding. This car was sympathetically restored some time ago and should be considered a great driver-quality car. It has been very well sorted and has a great "patina" but it is sold AS-IS WHERE-IS. I have taken over 100 pictures in an effort to portray the car as best as I possibly can. The odometer reads 86,102, but this car has been exempt from actual mileage disclosure for some time. I would guess this to be accurate mileage. I have the clean and clear title in-house. If you have any QUESTIONS or have a trade-in.. G And S Motors LLC WeLoveCoolCars.com +1 828 654-3222 1967 Mercedes Benz 200 Fintail W110 SORTED Mercedes Fintail Sedan with mechanical receipts from engine rebuild totalling over $6,000. This super cool sedan runs and drives as good as it looks. This W110 Fintail is by no means a “concours” car or nut qand bolt restoration, but you’ll be hard pressed to find something with as much charm and patina that you can use as a comfortable driver. The body panels have great fit, the paint is very good and the interior is excellent with just enough patina to make it very warm and inviting. This is a car that I bought for myself and is coming straight out of my private collection. I didn’t buy it very long ago, but it’s still not an easy one to let go. The black paint and red interior color combo is easily my favorite for an early Mercedes sedan. (I have two earlier Mercedes sedans, same color combo, but have to make some room and have decided to let someone else enjoy this one.) > YOU CAN CLICK HERE TO WATCH A VIDEO OF THIS MERCEDES YOU CAN SEE OVER 100 PICS BY CLICKING HERE < THE BAD - There’s a small chip in the windshield, a little smaller than a dime, (see pic 67 MB200-043). The front bumper is slighty pitted and crazed, certainly less than would be expected of an unrestored car of this age and much less than the rear, which is remarkably clean. The ignition seems to have been replaced at some point and it very occasionally doesn’t catch precisely the first time. The dashboard overall is very good, but has one small crack to the right of the speedometer (see pic 67_MB200-060). One of the front turn signals is more orange than the other. Please review all of the pics on the link above carefully before bidding. This is not a restored car.
