Yes, that's right, this 'lil hauler has the legendary L79 under it hood, and a Muncie four-speed...And you thought you were just attracted to this one because of its good looks. This is really the holy grail El Camino. This hot '67 is only one of five L79 El Caminos currently listed in the National L79 Registry, and this one is truly the prize. It was sold new in Oregon and spent nearly 45 years in that area, with all of its original components. Then in 2012 this Chevy was given a complete frame off restoration from the ground up. That's why the bodywork looks straighter than even any Tuesday car that came out of the Fremont, California facility. On top of that is fresh paint that takes GM's iconic shade of Marina Blue, but gives it a much more modern and deep shine than the factory ever could. Even the truck bed shines with a look-at-me quality. This transformation back to factory fresh would not be compete without the chrome and stainless trim being in immaculate condition, on everything from the wide grille, to the ribbed rear end that can make a tailgate still look like a Chevelle. The final touch gives you a nice choice between large Torq Thrust style wheels, on modern low-profile tires, or original-style painted steel wheels with bright bow-tie hubcaps and Firestone Wide Oval redline tires this El Camino comes with both! The moment you open the door, you'll swear it's 1967, and that's for a very good reason. The complete restoration included putting the factory interior back to original spec. The black vinyl bench has the kind of cushioning that feels like no one else ever sat here before. The wood-rimmed sports steering wheel feels ready to be warn-in by a loving caretaker. Even the heat/defrost controls glide with ease. It has the kind of atmosphere that you know you'll love resting your right hand on the shifter and watching the needle rapidly climb on the extra wide speedometer. As we've mentioned before under the hood is the numbers-matching, ER code, L79 327 cubic-inch V8 motor. But it's not just the block that's correct in this exceptionally clean engine bay. That's the original Holley 3806 carburetor sitting on top of a Winters intake that feeds factory-spec 462 heads. Are you starting to get the picture on this one? This El Camino has one of those legendary factory underrated engines with an advertised 325 horsepower. It was a feared package even by the big blocks in the 60s, and today it's a sought-after collectable that offers a wicked exhaust rumble. It only gets better with the original Muncie four-speed manual transmission, backed up by a factory-installed 12-bolt Positraction rear end running a versatile 3.55 ratio. As expected with this level of restoration, the suspension has also been rebuilt correctly, including Saginaw steering gear, and rebuilt drum brakes with boxed control arms, and correct spiral shocks. Now you can be confident in driving this classic even with its pristine original appearance. In a cared for car like this, it should be no surprise that it comes with plenty of documentation such as the original warranty card, owner's manual, and plenty of restoration receipts. There is so much more to this amazing and rare El Camino that we don't have the space to write it all, but we'll be happy to take the time to tell you all about it. Give us a call now before someone else snags this El Camino of your dreams!! 1967 Chevrolet El Camino for Sale 1967 Chevrolet El Camino for Sale Stock # 3223-CHA Charlotte Showroom 5400 West WT Harris Blvd Charlotte, NC 28269 Local/International: (704) 598-2130 Toll-Free: (866) 542-8392 Hours: Tues - Fri: 9AM - 6PM EST Sat: 9AM - 5PM EST Email: [email protected] Atlanta Showroom 213 Thornton Rd Lithia Springs, GA 30122 Local/International: (678) 279-1609 Toll-Free: (877) 367-1835 Hours: Tues - Fri: 9AM - 6PM EST Sat: 9AM - 5PM EST Email: [email protected] Dallas/Fort Worth Showroom 5400 Sandshell Dr Fort Worth, TX 76137 Local/International: (817) 764-8000 Toll-Free: (855) 877-2707 Hours: Tues - Fri: 9AM - 6PM CST Sat: 9AM - 5PM CST Email: [email protected] Tampa Showroom 4610 Pet Lane Lutz, FL 33559 Local/International: (813) 501-1630 Hours: Tues - Fri: 9AM - 6PM EST Sat: 9AM - 5PM EST Email: [email protected] TERMS OF SALE 1. [email protected] 5527 Lakeview Road, Charlotte, NC, 28269, US 1949 Ford F1 Pickup Truck Frame Off Built F1 Pickup 351/325 HP V8 C6 Ford 9" 3.73 A/C Disc Brakes Year: 1949 Type of vehicle title: Clear Primary color: Beige Mileage: 660 Transmission type: 3 Speed Automatic Engine: 351 Windsor V8 Interior color: Brown Vehicle Info It's no secret that Ford builds the most celebrated trucks on the planet. From the stalwart C-Series to the hardcore Raptor, every iteration of 'Built Ford Tough' has transformed a solid clientele of buyers into a devout following of gearheads. Over the past few years, we've featured plenty of vintage, ground-pounding blue ovals, and this sleek '49 resto-mod is just the latest in a series of sweet F-Series head turners. Mixing a tweaked Windsor and tough C6 3-speed with bodywork that'll sit well at any car show, this road-ready warrior is worthy of EVERY Ford fan's full attention. If you're shopping for a clean classic that mixes modern detailing with purposeful simplicity, take a close look at this slick F1! A mostly solid work truck that hails from Oregon, this super cool pickup recently received a roof-to-rocker makeover that was completed in the fall of 2012. That body-off reboot started with a through sandblasting, which lead to repaired floorpans and reworked running boards. With those minor rust issues addressed, Tom Phillips Woodworks of Ashland, Oregon bolted up some hand-rubbed Hickory sideboards. Then the truck traveled to Carrs Auto Body in Gold Hill, Oregon where a clean coat of BMW Bronzit 2-stage was completely color-sanded and carefully buffed. And today, that pigment's combination of excellent reflections and Kansas-flat surfaces showcases a subdued and sophisticated classic that's essentially timeless. Not surprisingly, this awesome Ford's first rate detailing highlights both its solid form and smoothed lines. At the front of the truck, a vented hood rides above bold "F O R D" lettering, a chrome, Ford-branded grille and clean halogen headlights. At the sides of that grille, a pinstriped profile hangs simple "F1" emblems below twisting door handles and arced mirrors. At the top of that profile, tinted glass rides between electronic windshield wipers, a custom Center High Mount Stop Lamp and a stainless-trimmed, Hickory bed. And at the back of that bed, a striped and "Ford" branded tailgate hangs above polished taillights and a small chrome bumper. Toss the truck's lightweight hood and you'll find a 351 cubic inch Windsor crate motor that creates a stout 325 horsepower. Wholly appropriate, since the cast iron Windsor is well known for its rugged durability, this hot rod was built to tow AND haul! At the top of the proven mill, a polished Edelbrock carburetor rides under a clean K&N X-Stream air filter. Below that carburetor, a coated Edelbrock Performer RPM intake anchors a high quality MSD Pro-Billet distributor between polished Ford Racing valve covers and loomed MSD Super Conductor plug wires. And, below those wires, heat-wrapped shorties funnel spent gases in to a 3-inch exhaust system while a color-keyed Walker radiator cycles water around March pulleys and an electric puller fan. As you can see, the thoroughly massaged engine bay wears matching Bronzit skin. All the motor's ancillary components, from its MSD coil and Lokar throttle linkage to its braided fluid lines and American Autowire wiring, are high quality aftermarket pieces. And, if you're a sucker for the details, the truck's airbrushed battery box is an enduringly cool touch. During its youth, this classic spent most days living outside and working hard. So, when the time came for rebirth, the truck was a prime candidate for thorough modernization. Nowhere is that theme more evident than under the skin. The 351's power flows from a kitted C6 3-speed to a sturdy Strange 9-inch that's fitted with a limited-slip differential and beefy 3.73 gears. That familiar drivetrain pushes a professionally boxed and braced chassis on gas shocks and traditional leaf springs. Tracking is provided by a Total Cost Involved front clip, which benefits from gas shocks, power rack-and-pinion steering and 2-inch drop spindles. Quick stops are a cinch thanks to power-assisted discs at all four corners. At the center of the floor, custom, 3-inch exhaust, which along with the truck's fuel tank was built by Medford's own Allin Specialties Cars & Automotive, breathes through a throaty Magnaflow muffler. And, at the corners of the chassis, Wheel Vintiques steelies twist 255/50R17 Yokohama S/Ts in front of 275/60R17 Yokohama S/Ts. When you pop this pickup's doors, you'll find a stylish and comfortable cockpit that was detailed by Greg's Upholstery in Grants Pass, Oregon. Top dead center, a clean dash hangs Auto Meter telemetry above well-integrated ducting for modern air conditioning. In front of that dash, a cushy Glide seat, which features a folding armrest, wears a supple ultraleather hide. At the sides of that seat, ultraleather door panels anchor traditional chrome handles above tidy pulls. Under those panels, clean carpet founds color-keyed floor mats beneath Lokar foot pedals and a familiar Lokar shifter. Opposite that carpet, a tweed headliner stretches tight behind a polished mirror and matching sun visors. And in front of the driver, a tilting column spins a Carrera banjo-style steering wheel. The sale of this gentrified workhorse includes an album of restoration photos, a 2012 appraisal from Auto Appraisal Network, a showboard, a vinyl bed floor cover and a complete car cover. Perpetually cool and visually stunning, this awesome Ford is a classic example of the skill and creativity that defines our hobby. With its clean craftsmanship and excellent asking price, it presents the rare opportunity to land a well-done trophy winner that doubles as a well-done road warrior. Don't miss your chance to own this sweet resto-mod! About This Auction Please note that all sales are binding and final. Our cars are sold "as-is" with no warranty expressed or implied. HELLO: BUY IT NOW or make an offer but please include your phone number in the "message to seller" when making an offer. I will want to talk to you before accepting an offer.... INTRO: Up for sale today is one of the Crown Jewels of my personal car collection. I purchased it for my wife but she doesn't like it because it does not drive like her Accord so I am selling it. This is a beautiful no issues show quality car that would make anyone happy. It runs perfectly and needs nothing as it only has about 5000 miles on a full professional restoration that cost over $30K not including the straight, solid, low mileage, unmolested original car (worth $10K) that the build began with.Additional Photos at skyypilot.use.com. Video on YouTube named 999Chevelle. WHY I AM SELLING/TERMS/TRADES: Before I further describe the car, I want to be clear about a few things: THIS IS NOT A DISTRESS SALE. I can afford to keep this car indefinitely. Money is NOT a problem for me (trying to get rid of the Vultures, re-sellers, and Bottom Feeders – it never works). My car collection is bursting at the seams so I am tight on space but I CAN keep this car if I don't get the price I want. I may be willing to let someone pay me over a short period of time (3 months MAX), no interest, but I own 100% of the car and paperwork until it is 100% paid for. And you will have to convince me you aren’t going to be a problem before I will do this. I am going to fully disclose what I know about this car, even if it is at my own peril. I am not interested in ANY trades of ANY kind. Sorry, my garage is overflowing already. Anyone who tries to scam me or hurt me will find out what their genitals taste like. Be decent to me and we will get along fine. I am not a kid and I am not an old geezer. I have a family and a full time job so please be respectful that my time is limited. Please bid only what you can afford to pay and please be sure your spouse of whomever has approved the purchase. I will require an immediate deposit of $500 at the close of the auction. If you come to inspect the car after a deposit and it has been grossly misrepresented I will refund the deposit. If you can't come up with the money, change your mind, the dog bid for you, or you have were forced to bid as part of a sex game (I have heard them all) you will only get half of the deposit back. If you never call or do not complete the transaction in a timely manner I will keep the whole deposit. Full payment by bank wire transfer, cashier's check drawn on a real bank, or cash in person is expected within 7 business days unless we make other arrangements prior to the auction close. Please view my 15 plus years of flawless feedback. There is a reason for it..... Please understand that your bid is a contract to BUY the car unless it is NOT what has been described. There is NO WARRANTY OF ANY KIND ON THIS CAR. It is sold as-is where-is. It has been restored but it is still 46 years old. There will be small issues from time to time as there are with all vintage cars. If you do not understand this, please do not bid. THE WHOLE STORY about the Chevelle: Please READ the WHOLE story and look at all the pictures BEFORE you make an offer…. I have written an awful lot to prevent a misunderstanding. Please read on if you are serious… This is an extremely nice car. Straight, solid, and completely restored by a professional shop 5 years ago. It has only 103,000 original miles on it! Lovingly owned by a female who tragically lost the use of her legs in a motorcycle accident. I bought it from her husband as a gift for my wife. She drove it and does not like it-she prefers her Accord. Vintage cars are not for everyone...The car runs excellent and needs nothing. It is surprisingly quick for a 327 power glide car, it can really get up and go thanks to a 4-barrel carb and headers and quality dual exhaust. The Chip Foose wheels and performance tires are new and cost over $3000. Everything works and the paint on this car is superb and originally cost $10,000. In my experience, pictures lie about paint. In the case of this car, they do lie because this car actually looks better in person than it does in the photos. The car is truly stunning in person, people gawk and stare and I recently had a carload of young ladies hanging out the window screaming (with excitement!) when I passed them. And I am pretty damn ugly, so it was definitely the car. This car is very, very popular with females.Everything was restored, the original engine and transmission were completely rebuilt, the brakes, suspension, interior - literally everything, no expense spared. This car does not leak fluids and is extremely user friendly and easy to own - which is why I chose it for my wife as she is the very, very opposite of a gearhead like me. I tried and have tried several times to find a vintage car she would like and have failed every time. I'm done. This car has been driven approximately 5k miles since the build. It is still nearly perfect in every way which is a testament to the original build. Except for a few TINY touched up chips that you have to have your nose almost touching the car to find the paint is perfect. Again, the final blocking and paint cost over $10,000 so consider that when looking at a Chevelle that “needs paint”. Quality paint is incredibly expensive today. The underside of this car is spectacular – see the photos in the skyypilot.use.com page. Incredibly clean and nicely painted. No issues at all.The glass is excellent. All windows roll up and down properly. The car runs and drives perfectly. It has power steering and no power brakes. The brakes work excellent, please don't make a big deal of this. ALL OF THE PHOTOS AND THE VIDEO WERE TAKEN RECENTLY. Nothing has changed. I guarantee it. Be sure to ask this question when looking at other cars on here. Here is a list of WHAT WORKS on the car: Headlights (high and low beams); Wipers, brake lights, parking lights, turn signals, gauges (idiot lights), gauge lighting, speedometer, interior light, parking brake. Here is a list of what I know about that needs fixing: The radio does not work. I don’t know why. It has an aftermarket tuner and speakers but nothing woks. It never mattered to me as I prefer V-8 music. The horn does not work. That’s it. The car is ready to drive across the nation today. It stops and steers wonderfully. It draws more attention than Kim Kardashian in a thong (you have that in you cell phone too don't you?). It will win the “dead grass” award at any car show on turf – you may not be able to see the car for the crowd around it. This car will not disappoint even the pickiest person. You really do feel like Superman when you drive this car…. You are at least an instant movie star.... PAPERWORK: I have clean, clear, and blank Oregon title for this car. Signed with nothing else filled out. I also have the Oregon registration. INSPECTION: I do not have time for tire kickers, chat pals or lookey-loos but I will gladly show anyone the car BEFORE they bid or make an offer. I would prefer it if at all possible. Any inspection BEFORE an offer is welcome. VALUE: This car is well worth what I am asking – I have priced it to sell quickly and at a loss to me. Again, it cost over $30k to build this car and would cost even more today to build. I am not greedy – I am just trying to get back most of what I paid for it. I am not poor – at all - so please don’t waste my time with lowball offers. I will take $2000 off the offer price if the buyer does not want the wheels. and tires I can put junky rollers that hold air on the car. So please when making an offer, make it for the price with the wheels and we can deduct the wheels when we complete the transaction. COST TO OWN: Classic car ownership is very cheap. Here in Connecticut, fixed costs per year are $40 for early American plates; around $20 for taxes ($500 tax assessment is MANDATORY); and Hagerty Classic Auto Insurance is around $120 a year for FULL coverage. So for about $200 (about $0.60 a day!) you can enjoy driving this gorgeous car! Classic cars are a great investment. According to Knight Frank's Wealth Report, collectible cars were the top-performing collectible asset with prices surging 23-percent in the 12-months ending in the third quarter of 2012, and posting gains of 395-percent over 10-years. Google it if you don't believe me. FOR INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: The car is located about 100 miles from New York and New Jersey shipping ports. I would estimate it would cost around $500 to get the car down there. You will have to handle the broker and pay for everything of course. I recently shipped a Corvette to Australia and it went very well. Domestic shipping: I recommend Montway for long hauls and Uship for short hauls. If you are on the route between CT and Dallas Texas I have a friend (Fernando) who makes a regular route and he can get the car to you cheap. If you are in the Northeast I will direct you to Walter at C&C Transportation 978-846-8578. He will be cheaper than anyone. QUESTIONS: Send me your phone number and I will gladly ask any questions that you may have. I sincerely want the buyer to be happy with this car. If you plan to ship the car I will do my best to hand the car off to the shipper and take condition pictures as it goes on the transporter in case something happens. Congrats: For making it through my dissertation. I feel this is necessary to properly describe a car for people who may be buying “sight unseen”. When looking at other cars on here you should DEMAND all of this information. I never understood people who bid on cars with poor pictures and terse write-ups. Many sellers take poor quality pictures to hide defects. Notice that my pictures are taken in full sunlight. And even pictures taken well can be deceiving. Be careful and ask lots of questions. You are playing with fire….

1934 Ford So-Cal Roadster High quality build 311 miles since GNRS winner Here up for sale on eBay is one incredible roadster.  This '34 Ford was built by Mick Jenkins of So-Cal Speed Shop in 2006 and won the inaugural Gray Baskerville award at the Grand National Roadster Show in 2007.  The car is styled after the look of late 60s rods, its build features all the best materials utilized by some of the best names in the industry.  With 311 miles since completion, this roadster is show ready, road proven, and is sure to be a serious trophy contender at any rod event worldwide.  Click to enlarge any of the photos below, a link to a slideshow of all the enlarged images is available to view at the bottom of the page. The car features a Deuce Customs (Australia) body over an original 34 frame, fully boxed, stretched 2 inches, with rear rails bobbed and recontoured to match the body.  The fit and finish is excellent, this car rides down the road without a squeak or rattle and the doors close perfectly.  Behind the wheel the quality is immediately evident, this is not your average rod.  The body is painted in PPG single stage black, it's about a mile deep and was expertly applied, true show quality paint.  Industry veteran Eric Vaughn was called upon to punch the louvers and legendary pinstriper Dennis Ricklefs finished the roadster in contrasting red and white lines.  If you follow rodding culture you're probably starting to get the picture. The car has an original '34 grill laid back 1.5" at the top.  Rear bumper is a one-off in stainless steel.  Rear end uses a Currie 9" Ford unit with a Detroit Locker 3rd member running 3.50 gears.  TCI sway bar and Aldan 225lb coil overs.  Rear brakes use beefy Ford Police Special drums (11 x 2.25). Windshield was chopped 4".  Gas cap is a Mooneyes flip up with a custom made flange.    Really perfect wheel tire combo using So-Cal cast-aluminum circle track style wheels wrapped in Firestone Deluxe Champions.  From the wire tied knockoffs to the pie crust sidewalls, these to me complete the picture.   Custom vee'd Moon tank, nerf bars are one-offs as well.  The brakes look like classic Buick drums but actually contain Wilwood discs hidden inside.  More info at So-Cal Fake Brakes The front end features a forged Magnum 4" drop I-beam axle, Vega cross steering, shocks by Pete and Jakes, a So-Cal panhard bar, hairpins and batwings.  The entire exhaust was custom built for the car, the headers are ceramic coated inside.  As you might imagine, it sounds wicked. More pics of Dennis Ricklef's work.  Trunk panel reveals a 20 gallon Rock Valley gas tank, hand fabricated from stainless steel. Expert interior job by Ridler Award winner Gabe Lopez, beautifully done in leather and German square weave carpet. The So-Cal knobs in the center of the dash control the lights, turn signals and Vintage Air heater.  The '46 Ford starter button on the left is for the horn.  Classic Mooneyes gauges and a So-Cal 3 spoke wheel wrapped in leather by Gabe Lopez. Glide seat, Limeworks steering column.  The wiring was installed by Foothill Fabrications in Corona CA.  This roadster runs and drives as good as it looks.  It features a blueprinted 396 motor bored 30 over with 9.5:1 forged pistons, Edelbrock cam & intake with MSD ignition and distributor.  Mellings oil pump, original LS7 6qt oil pan, etc.  Full specs listed below. Transmission is a Turbo Hydramatic 400 with a TH350 flexplate and a performance torque converter all built by Toy Shop Transmissions in Pomona.  Fantastic crisp shifting. SMI built Holley 770 Street Avenger.  Recessed firewall is signed by Tom Prufer and Pete Chapouris. The undercarriage is as clean as the top and the attention to detail as exact. Some rods look good and some drive good, this one does both.  The car fires at the flick of the switch and runs like a scalded cat.  Has a very streetable idle and a perfect exhaust note.  Super comfortable ride with a nice tight suspension, you'll be impressed with how this car drives.  For 380HP it's pretty well behaved when you want it to be but will launch like a bottle rocket if you put your foot into it. Never in the rain since completion.  Rolling art.
