Introduced on October 5, 1965, the Rolls Royce Silver Shadow and Bentley T-Series were unveiled at the Paris Salon Motor Show with rave reviews. The Silver Shadow was a limited production Saloon that used the familiar 6.75 litre V8 engine built by Rolls Royce. The new Silver Shadow was 3 and a half inches narrower and 7 inches shorter than the previous model but still managed to make more interior space for the passengers. The Silver Shadow II was redesigned for model year 1977 and ran until 1980 with just 8425 examples made worldwide. Many automobile journalists have said over the years that the Silver Shadow and T Series Saloons are amongst the best handling and most loveliest of the older generations of Rolls Royce and Bentley cars. European Motor Studio is proud to offer this stunning 1979 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow II finished in a beautiful combination of Shell Grey/Masons Black with a Charcoal Connolly leather interior with contrasting grey/off white piping. This Silver Shadow left the Crewe production line in October of 1978 and was then invoiced to Rolls Royce North America. The car was sent to Roy Carver Inc in New Port Beach California where it sold to its first owner on January 4, 1979. The second owner bought the car in the late 1990’s where the car continued to live in Beverly Hills then Palm Springs California until European Motor Studio brought the car to AZ. This Rolls Royce has traveled a total of 59,015 miles from brand new and is on a Box A actual miles clean and clear title. The car has either been serviced at Bentley/Rolls Royce of Beverly Hills or Desert European Motor Cars. The paint on the car is in beautiful condition showing very few flaws .The Shell Grey paint looks very nice and free from any fade or sun spots. The Masons Black lower half paint still has a stunning glossy finish and only shows a quarter size chip (which has been touched up) in the passenger lower quarter panel and a few tiny small stone chips in the front end. The body of the car is in excellent shape and free from any rust, dents, dings or corrosion. There are no signs of any prior accidents or damage anywhere. All of the chrome and rubber on the exterior of the car still shows beautifully and all of the light lenses and glass are all clear and free from any cracks or pitting. The interior has a lovely patina to it and all of the original Connolly leather is still very soft and supple free from any discoloration or tears. The original wool carpets are in beautiful shape and free from any stains or tears. All of the real wood veneer is still in stunning shape and with only a couple tiny hairline cracks on the front door rails. The wood still retains a beautiful dark red/brown color. All of the leather on the dashboard is still in beautiful condition, free from any discoloration or separating. All of the switchgear is in excellent condition aside from the “fasten safety belt sign” on the lower dash which shows some discoloration on the plastic cover. The car still retains its original 8-Track player which is still in working order. The dash lights, interior lights, headlights, taillights, reverse lights, side marker lights, turn signals, and license plate lights are all working. All of the electrical equipment is in proper working order as well, the AC is ice cold and the heat is blowing out warm. All of the power windows are in working order, the power door locks are working, the power seats are working (driver seat is a little slow to move) and the power antenna is working. This Rolls Royce mechanically is in excellent condition; it starts right up and idles smoothly. It does not smoke on start up and the car shifts into gear with ease. It accelerates very smoothly and shifts through all of the gears without any hesitation. The brakes feel solid and smooth, and are free from any fade or grinding. The car rides incredibly smooth and gives the passengers a ride only a true British luxury saloon can give. This Rolls Royce has always been serviced on time and in excellent running and driving condition. The new S-Class (internal codename W116) was heavily based off of the new SL (R107) and introduced a brand new muscular styling cue that would continue with Mercedes-Benz until 1993. The new S-Class model was the first to officially carry the S-Class name. Knowledge gained from the C111 experimental prototype was incorporated into the new S-Class sedan including all new safety and performance features never before seen on a car. In 1974 the W116 body S-Class was given the European Car of the Year award cementing the W116 as the best Luxury Sedan money could buy. Aside from the ultra rare 6.9 litre model, the 450SEL was the top of the line sedan offered by Mercedes-Benz and came with the venerable and very durable 4.5 litre eight cylinder Mercedes-Benz built engine. Production of the W116 ceased in September of 1980 and many Mercedes-Benz enthusiasts prefer the W116 for its stunning muscular lines and unquestionable build quality. European Motor Studio is proud to offer this stunning Medium Red Metallic over Bamboo leather 1979 Mercedes-Benz 450SEL Sedan. The car left the Mercedes-Benz production line in August of 1979 and invoiced to Mercedes-Benz of North America. The car was sent to Beverly Hills Ltd on Wilshire Blvd where it sold to its first owner on November 9, 1979. The car has lived in Beverly Hills since new and has been under the care of one single family ownership since and traveled only 121,520 actual miles. All of the service has been done at Beverly Hills Mercedes or a specialist and is documented in the Mercedes-Benz service books. The owner of the car was very meticulous with the care given to the car and it shows in the condition. The paint and body of the car are in outstanding condition. The metallic Medium Red paint does not show any scratches or fade spots anywhere on the car and only shows some very light stone chips in the front nose of the car. The body is 100% straight and rust free, showing no signs of prior or current damage. All of the exterior trim is in excellent condition and does not show any signs of damage or cracking on the chrome, plastics or rubber. All of the glass is very clear and pit and crack free. The original factory Bundt style Mercedes wheels are in excellent condition excepet for some minor chrome pitting. The interior leather looks almost new, the leather is very soft and supple and does not show any cracks or tears anywhere. The carpets are in excellent condition with brand new factory floor mats and are stain and tear free. All of the original wood trim looks beautiful and still retains a dark red brown color and only shows a couple very small hairline cracks. The dashboard is still finished in its original factory materials and still in excellent condition (3 hairline cracks closer to the windshield). The headliner looks outstanding, completely original and free from any stains or damage. All of the switchgear and running gear look outstanding and are in proper working order. The AC and heat work as they should, all of the power windows are functioning, the sunroof operates like it was designed to and the factory power antenna is working as designed to. All of the lights are working as they should, the turn signals, brake lights, taillights, reverse lights, headlights, side marker lights, interior lights and dash lights are all working. The car has just had an extensive amount of work done, including a full tune up, spark plugs and wires, all fluids, many new hoses, belts and seals, new suspension, ball joints, tie rods, all four new tires and brake pads. The AC has just been overhauled and blows very cold and on all fan speeds. The car starts right up and does not smoke and idles very smoothly. The car shifts into gear without any hesitation and accelerates very smoothly. This SEL has an abundant amount of smooth power and a very smooth shifting transmission. The suspension feels very solid and very tight over bumps. The steering feel is excellent, there are no vibrations or drifting of any kind and the brakes feel solid and free from any squeaking or fade. The car comes with all of its original tools in their tool roll, the original spare tire and jack is present as well as all of the original Mercedes-Benz books. The warranty book, owners manual, maintenance book, emissions book, dealer book, tire book, quick guide and radio book are all present with the car including the Mercedes-Benz parts book. The car has lived in Beverly Hills since new and has been under the care of one single family ownership since and traveled only 121,520 actual miles. All of the service has been done at Beverly Hills Mercedes or a specialist and is documented in the Mercedes-Benz service books. The owner of the car was very meticulous with the care given to the car and it shows in the condition. The paint and body of the car are in outstanding condition. The metallic Medium Red paint does not show any scratches or fade spots anywhere on the car and only shows some very light stone chips in the front nose of the car. The body is 100% straight and rust free, showing no signs of prior or current damage. The AC and heat work as they should, all of the power windows are functioning, the sunroof operates like it was designed to and the factory power antenna is working as designed to. All of the lights are working as they should, the turn signals, brake lights, taillights, reverse lights, headlights, side marker lights, interior lights and dash lights are all working. The car has just had an extensive amount of work done, including a full tune up, spark plugs and wires, all fluids, many new hoses, belts and seals, new suspension, ball joints, tie rods, all four new tires and brake pads. The AC has just been overhauled and blows very cold and on all fan speeds. The car starts right up and does not smoke and idles very smoothly.
