A true Barn Find. I purchased the car in 2005, and stored it in my shop till 2010 when I took the car to have a "Body Off Frame" restoration by Roger Gunter in Burnet, Texas. Restoration was completed in 2011. I spent over $50,000 with Roger and over $8000 with David Horned in Burnet on paint and body work. The door panels and seat covers are original and in excellent condition. Seats were protected with the clear plastic covers that were popular back then. Engine and trans were rebuilt by Jasper Engine and Transmission. Original 283 block is still standard bore. The car was restored to original showroom condition with a few exceptions. I had Roger find a correct four barrel carb and air filter to change engine to a four barrell, dual exhaust was added, power disk brakes, and an under dash air conditioning system designed for 57 Chevys was added. An AM/FM radio for 57 Chevys was added. The dual antennas came on the car as well as the White top. The engine needs a fan shroud for the A/C and the original four blade fan needs an upgrade for the A/C. I have only driven the car 1230 miles since restoration, never in the rain, always stored inside. This is a supurb example of a 57 210 Two Door Hardtop, professionally restored body off frame, with upgrades to make this car a pleasure to drive! Numbers matching, original seat covers, panels, owners manual and paperwork! Stored for 34 years!!!
