Well I hate to do this but a new job with more driving that involves parking garages and tight places is forcing a change. Its a 2012 Ram 1500 Outdoorsman Mossy Oak edition in Sage Green with lots of options and add-ons. The good... Its simply bad ass; looks, sound, interior, stance, options, its just an awesome truck. Original owner, all documentation included, two sets of keys/remotes Warranty: Purchased the truck in Oct 2012 so you still have 1 yr and 11K miles left on the Basic and 3 yrs and 75K miles left on the Powertrain from the factory. Nothing but routine maintenance, haven't had any warranty work done to it thus far (nothing has failed) While it looks like it should have been and certainly ought to be, the truck has never been off road. Sad but true. It's been a Northern VA highway queen so feel free to beat on it when you get it, it could probably use it. Clean title in hand and ready to be signed over Nothing but Mobil 1 synthetic oil changes (most recent one was just completed in September) The bad (there is always something bad)... There is a scratch on the rear drivers side bed panel (unfortunately self inflicted). The dam RBP side steps are showing corrosion on the inside edges. Really irritates me because RBP is supposed to be high end stuff and these are only 2 yrs old. My suggestion to the new owner is to scuff it down and seal it if you decide to keep them on. Options: Customer Preferred Package 25T - Navigation, all weather rubber floor mats, 32 Gallon tank, trailer tow package with brake control, not going to list it all but lots of stuff you get the idea Technology Group - Rear Park Assist and 506 Watt Alpine Surround w/9 Speakers & Subwoofer Mossy Oak Package Katzkin Leather Seats 5.7L Hemi Power Sunroof (tilt and retract) Backup Camera Power adjustable pedals Spray in bedliner Customized (these are the things I did to the truck) Window tint (all legal) Matching Mossy Oak Infinity Bug Deflector from Stampede 20" XD Crank Wheels with 295/60 Nitto Trail Grapplers (basically a 34.5 inch tire so I didn't have to lift the truck). Only about 14K miles on the tires, lots of tread left. Bilstein 5100s up front to level the truck (not a spacer setup; which isn't bad but this is better. originals included) Corsa Cat Back Exhaust (sounds great, no drone in cab, original exhaust included) aFe Stage 2 CAI Pro Dry Filter which is a Synthetic oil free filter that is still washable and reusable (original intake included) Swapped original rear chrome bumper for one with cutouts for the dual exhaust and sprayed with bed liner (original bumper included) Softopper bed cap/cover (folds up for full bed access when needed) RBP Running Boards/Nerf Bars/Side Steps whatever you want to call them Lettering, emblems, and front chrome bumper were sprayed with black plasti-dip. If you want the chrome look back you can peel it off. I also put a DeeZee tailgate assist on it but it didn't stay on so I will include it and hopefully you can get it to work, it is nice to have. Not having it does not impact the tailgate in anyway, it just allows it to drop nice and slow Basis for Price Its a unique truck and I don't have to sell it immediately so I am not giving it away. I've also basically done what a dealer would do prior to sale so it is clean and ready to go with fresh oil. KBB Private Party Very good $34,295 with Excellent being $34,967 (KBB doesn't account for the mossy oak package which was $1,475). Cars.com has Clean retail at $35,150, NADA doesn't account for all the options and shows $33,900. Edmunds also doesn't account for all the options or even the right model but a Laramie retail is $33,500. BODYWORK/TRIM After World War II, GM rolled out its Advance Design pickups nearly a full year ahead of its revised passenger cars. Why? Well, most agree that, because truck production continued throughout the war, the General's body dies were getting worn and needed replaced. It's a simple answer, and the kind of thinking you'd probably expect behind such a wonderfully uncomplicated machine. Naturally, this 3100's appeal begins on the outside where all-steel lines, memorable enough to inspire the Chevy HHR and SSR, are coated in a fantastic layer of Burgundy 2-stage. That paint, detailed with a Charcoal pinstripe, presents well from any angle, remaining a true testament to rock-solid bodywork that was conducted during the truck's no-holds-barred restoration. And everything adds up to one crisp and clean classic that's been finished to 100% show worthy standards! One of the best attributes of Advance Design pickups is their straightforward ornamentation. Not decorated to the hilt like most '40s and '50s cars, these blue-collar runabouts illustrate how solid design can remain fresh almost 70 years after it was introduced. At the front of this Chevy, a show-quality grille rides between a fresh chrome bumper, clean halogen headlights and a correctly trimmed hood. Behind that hood, a stainless-trimmed windshield leads a smoked greenhouse that's framed in bright, stainless wipers and a small driver's mirror. Introduced for use in large platforms, and regarded as one of the all-time great Chevrolet powerplants, this "LBA" branded mill is a favorite among vintage GM truck buyers because of its simple design, adequate power and excellent durability. At the top of the block, painted Weber carburetors mix wind, supplied by satin-finish air cleaners, with fuel that's piped through braided lines and high quality XRP fittings. Those carbs ride on a clean Fenton intake, which floats above cast Fenton exhaust manifolds. Opposite those manifolds, a fresh distributor, which sequences fire between MSD Heli-Core Solid Suppression wires and a polished, 12-volt alternator, twists on a tough Comp camshaft. A beefy radiator provides cooling with the help of a large pusher fan and polished cap. DRIVETRAIN/SUSPENSION Crawling under this classy bowtie reveals body-matched floors and a powder-coated frame that have never seen the slightest hint of inclement weather. Power meets the pavement through a traditional Muncie 3-speed, which is tied to a 10-bolt, highway-friendly rear end. Correct leaf springs and big drum brakes occupy all four corners of the chassis, mixing rugged road prowess with firm and solid stops. A polished, dual-pipe exhaust system, which is wired to a polished Patrick's muffler, runs the entire length of the truck. The Henry Ford Motor Company helped transform the nascent automobile industry by innovating the way cars were built. In the early years of American automobile production, hundreds of companies made small numbers of cars. Prices were high, and the volume of cars produced by each company was small. When the Henry Ford Motor Company began using his moving assembly line, in his Highland Park factory in 1913, the company started to streamline the production process. This in turn allowed Mr. Ford’s automobile company to mass produce Model T’s at an affordable price. In 1900, there were about 8,000 cars in the United States. By 1920, that number had risen to 8 million; all credit being due to Henry Ford’s revolutionary idea of the assembly line. This Model T flat bed pickup boasts a very well kept older restoration which still shows extremely well. As Henry Ford famously said “you can have it in any color, as long as it’s black,” and this Model T abides by his rule. BODYWORK/TRIM After World War II, GM rolled out its Advance Design pickups nearly a full year ahead of its revised passenger cars. Why? Well, most agree that, because truck production continued throughout the war, the General's body dies were getting worn and needed replaced. It's a simple answer, and the kind of thinking you'd probably expect behind such a wonderfully uncomplicated machine. Naturally, this 3100's appeal begins on the outside where all-steel lines, memorable enough to inspire the Chevy HHR and SSR, are coated in a fantastic layer of Burgundy 2-stage. That paint, detailed with a Charcoal pinstripe, presents well from any angle, remaining a true testament to rock-solid bodywork that was conducted during the truck's no-holds-barred restoration. And everything adds up to one crisp and clean classic that's been finished to 100% show worthy standards! One of the best attributes of Advance Design pickups is their straightforward ornamentation. Not decorated to the hilt like most '40s and '50s cars, these blue-collar runabouts illustrate how solid design can remain fresh almost 70 years after it was introduced. At the front of this Chevy, a show-quality grille rides between a fresh chrome bumper, clean halogen headlights and a correctly trimmed hood. Behind that hood, a stainless-trimmed windshield leads a smoked greenhouse that's framed in bright, stainless wipers and a small driver's mirror. Beneath that mirror, a polished and bowtie-branded fuel filler floats amid stylized door handles and painted running boards. Between those boards, a spectacular Oak bed is detailed with stainless skid strips and bowtie-branded rail plugs. And beneath those plugs, a "CHEVROLET" branded tailgate reflects sleeved chains, polished tail lamps, a second chrome bumper and polished exhaust pipes. ENGINE Peer in to the truck's body-matched engine bay and you'll find a 216 cubic inch Thriftmaster 6-cylinder that was professionally rebuilt by Greeley Automotive Machine of Greeley, Colorado. Introduced for use in large platforms, and regarded as one of the all-time great Chevrolet powerplants, this "LBA" branded mill is a favorite among vintage GM truck buyers because of its simple design, adequate power and excellent durability. At the top of the block, painted Weber carburetors mix wind, supplied by satin-finish air cleaners, with fuel that's piped through braided lines and high quality XRP fittings. Those carbs ride on a clean Fenton intake, which floats above cast Fenton exhaust manifolds. Opposite those manifolds, a fresh distributor, which sequences fire between MSD Heli-Core Solid Suppression wires and a polished, 12-volt alternator, twists on a tough Comp camshaft. A beefy radiator provides cooling with the help of a large pusher fan and polished cap. And items like a Delco-Remy starter, a silver, "Chevrolet" branded valve cover and a polished oil cap ensure the bright blue powerplant is very impressive to look at. DRIVETRAIN/SUSPENSION Crawling under this classy bowtie reveals body-matched floors and a powder-coated frame that have never seen the slightest hint of inclement weather. Power meets the pavement through a traditional Muncie 3-speed, which is tied to a 10-bolt, highway-friendly rear end. Correct leaf springs and big drum brakes occupy all four corners of the chassis, mixing rugged road prowess with firm and solid stops. A polished, dual-pipe exhaust system, which is wired to a polished Patrick's muffler, runs the entire length of the truck. Everything rolls on chrome steel wheels, which turn 245/60R15 Goodyear Eagle STs around "CHEVROLET" branded hubcaps. And details like a silver oil pan, stainless fluid lines, a fresh brake booster, a silver flywheel cover and an Optima gel cell battery round out an impressive restoration.
