As the service records demonstrate, each year the owner would have this Testarossa trailered to Algar Ferrari, with the instruction to service the car and address any needs it may have. For the next 26 years the car was maintained to the highest possible standards. In 2011, the second owner learned of this almost mythical car from Algar Ferrari, and contacted the broker. A pre-purchase inspection revealed that, aside from needing its service, the car had no significant needs and demonstrated excellent compression and leak down numbers (pre-purchase inspection report provided with service documents). Upon purchase the second owner spared no expense in having the car gone over with a fine tooth comb. In addition, he had the entire engine and transmission resealed and any potential areas of service addressed.
