Up for sale is my exceptionally well maintained my 2000 Mercedes Benz E320 (non-4matic). I am the second owner of the car. The first owner is a friend of mine who ordered the car directly from MB in Germany and picked up there as well. Other than Xeon headlights, the car was ordered with every option including navigation, (which was rare for 2000) While there are lots of these cars out there, very few of them have the historical maintenance records that this car does nor have they been taken care of like this car has. The car spent the first 12 years of its life in between Arlington, VA and Pinehurst, North Carolina wtih the balance of it in Palm Beach, Florida. It has been garage kept its entire life and has all books, records and every receipt documenting its life. To that extent both the previous owner and I have never used any aftermarket parts on the car and have adhered to the exact Mercedes Benz service schedules. As a result, the car drives absolutely flawlessly and is an outstanding example of why the life-expectancy of these cars is so high when properly maintained with genuine MB parts. Below is list of this maintenance related items that have been recently performed. · 4/2014 Mercedes B Service. All new Bosch wires and plugs, AT service, differential service. New Bosch 02 sensors. Oil filter, fuel filter, AT filter. · 2/2015 Replace right side complete catalytic converter (Mercedes OE replacement part) · 3/2015 Installed new MB front wheel bearings, new MB front brake rotors and brake pads · 4/2015 Installed new Michelin tires (less than 800 miles on them) · 5/2015 New MB Denso A/C compressor and Drier. (expansion valve not needed) along with new MB serpentine belt. (fyi-you cannot use and aftermarket serpentine belt on these cars as the rubber compound will stretch and ultimately fail) Interior Overview On a scale of 1-10 I would give the interior a 9. The car has 124 miles on it and as such one would expect there to be usual wear on the steering wheel and gear select knob. Otherwise the leather seats, carpets, headliner, etc. are all in excellent condition and a result of being garage kept. Exterior Overview On a scale of 1-10 I would give the car exterior an 8. There are a few very minor bumper scratches from the from highway rocks, etc. but otherwise the paint look like it’s virtually new. I recently drove the car from South Florida to North Carolina and had forgotten what an incredible highway car it is. Not only from the ride quality but with a 20+ gallon fuel tank and an amazing 31 mpg (at 75-80mph) I made it almost all the way there in one fill-up. I am selling the car only because I just bought an E350 and don’t have the need for a 4th car. Otherwise, I would not be selling as frankly out of the 11 Mercedes Benz that I have owned, this one hands down has been my favorite. The issue with buying an older car (particularly off of the web) is the unknown of who the previous owners were or how the car has been maintained. That is not the issue here. You have complete access to me via telephone as I am happy to answer any question and would actually prefer to know that it is going to someone who will appreciate it and maintain it in the same manner as me. From the Indy Cylinder Head 440 powered 1969 Dodge Charger 500, "Maximum Effect", which was featured at the 2010 Mopar Nationals and quickly sold for $180,000.00, to the 426 HEMI powered 1970 Dodge Charger R/T which sold for $185,000.00 at the RK Motors Collector Car Auctions May, 2013 Pinehurst sale, their Pro Touring Chargers have consistently hit the mark. Combining the best of classic styling combined with old school muscle and modern upgraded components, their collaborative builds have set the benchmark for beautiful, yet functional pro touring machines. Which brings us to their latest and final build: this incredible 1970 Dodge Charger R/T Pro Touring car. The vision for this Charger R/T was established by experience earned from their prior builds, taking the best of each and rolling them up into an a new design, the focus of which was to preserve the raw muscle car appeal of the classic 1968-1970 Dodge Charger body style, while allowing for maximum performance and reliability. Starting with a well-worn, yet dry and rust free Arizona 1970 Dodge Charger R/T as the foundation for the project, OEM sheet-metal is present from back to back. The body shell, doors, fenders, hood & deck-lid were subjected to a comprehensive acid dip and e-coating process, the very best process for creating a straight body that will stand the test of time and road miles. With a fresh canvas. every inch was carefully massaged before multiple coats of PPG Grigio Pearl Metallic were sprayed on every body panel. . For the hood black-out treatment and bumblebee stripes, black was selected. The combination was then buried in clearcoat and buffed to near perfection. The final finish is beyond reproach, offering mirror-like reflections from all angles. The paintwork is matched by even gaps around the hood, doors, and deck lid. While assembly line cars of the 1970s weren't known for their fit and finish, our team made sure to leave those imperfections in the past. Finishing off the iconic 1970 Dodge Charger body is carefully restored chrome, stainless steel and anodized aluminum, done to perfection. Inside the Charger, a stunning black leather interior was carefully installed. Though it has a custom feel, the design can largely be accredited to the Chrysler Corporation. The classic 1970 Dodge Charger R/T bucket seat interior is a timeless design-why mess with perfection? The restoration began with new high-grade black carpet set covering Dyna-mat, which mitigates road noise and exhaust heat. and a factory wood-grain center console. Steve Pearson Upholstery Unlimited supplied the hand-stitched vented leather front and rear seats, complete with white piping. Firm and supportive, these seats could easily pass for pieces borrowed from a late model sports car. At either side, new black door panels are highlighted by round Charger R/T logos and new hardware all around. The view from the driver seat is the stuff of muscle car dreams with a wood-finished steering wheel and pistol-grip shifter granting control over the car. Beyond the wheel, the restored dash shows off a 150 mph speedometer sits next to a tachometer with an integrated clock. Smaller gauges monitor other HEMI vitals including fuel level, temperature, oil pressure, and alternator output. To the right, controls for the updated HVAC system are placed within reach directly above the Pioneer AM/FM/CD/DVD with Ipod hook-up head unit which sends signal to new Pioneer speakers. An Ipod cable is smartly routed through the center console for easy and secure hook-up. Linking the restored interior interior to the refinished exterior is a complete new set of glass. Behind the rear seat, the trunk is finished to the same high standards as the rest of the car. New black carpet sits beneath an Optima red top battery and the gas filler neck that feeds into the custom fuel tank below. The heart of this Charger R/T is a brand new Indy Cylinder Head 500 V8 Wedge motor. Prior builds have been both HEMI and wedge powered, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. The consensus of the builders was that the Wedge powered cars are simply better. They produce more torque, are more reliable and can be run at lower compression, which allows for use of modern fuels with little impact on performance. Balanced and blue-printed, this power-plant produces 575 dyno-proven horsepower, with an equal 575 pound feet of torque. Here is a partial build list for this bullet-proof engine: Billet Specialties front runner serpentine system4340 Crank (4.150 stroke) Eagle H- Beam rods Speed Pro hyper pistons 4.830 9.5 :1 compression Edelbrock Performer RPM heads Comp Hydraulic cam (.509) MP black wrinkle valve covers M-1 single plane intake 750 Mighty Demon carburetorMilodon oil pan and tray MP electronic distributor Custom plug wires (black) At the front of the engine, a March Performance serpentine setup spins accessories including a polished air conditioning compression and power steering pump. Across from the pieces, a polished direct-fit Be Cool radiators keeps the mill cool with the aid of dual electric fans. Spend exhaust gases funnel through ceramic coated headers which connect to a full three-inch TTI exhaust system equipped with DynoMax mufflers. Put the car on a lift and more show-quality craftsmanship shines through. From the beautifully finished floors to the fresh hardware and braided lines, every inch is worth a closer look. At the front, an impressive RMS front subframe with rack and pinion & tubular control arms supports the Indy 500 V8. Behind the Wedge motor, a Keisler-modified Tremec TKO-500 five-speed manual transmission with a Quick Time bellhousing makes quick work of shifts. At the rear, a Moser Dana 60 rear axle with 3.54 gears puts the power to the pavement with authority. Around the thoroughly upgraded drive-train, an equally capable suspension starts with RMS 1.25-inch tubular control arms with heavy duty rod ends and Afco double adjustable coil-over racing shocks, for a fully adjustable front end. The rear suspension is a Detroit Speed altered four link setup with Panhard. Wilwood 12-inch rotors and six-piston front/ four-piston rear calipers can be found at all four corners of the car. This suspension set-up offers the confident response of a modern sports car. At the corners, a set of 18 and 19-inch Fiske three piece wheels are wrapped in new Michelin Pilot Super Sports for maximum grip. Pro-touring cars are about cancelling out the compromises of muscle car ownership and replacing them with new capabilities. With a balanced, fast revving big block Wedge motor, quick-shifting Tremec five-speed, and a fully upgraded suspension, this 1970 Charger R/T annihilate any complaints regarding performance or cornering. The addition of conveniences like power steering, disc brakes, air conditioning, and a modern stereo simply sweeten the deal. Built by the best for the most discriminating muscle car fans the scene has to offer, this Charger is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the rewards of a fresh world-class pro-tourer without endless calls to vendors, builders, and banks. Although largely original, this Silver Wraith (chassis number WVA68) has benefitted from a Masons Black and Silver two tone paint with contrasting red coach stripes. The livery combination looks stunning with the original red leather interior. Many chrome items have been refinished, including the front and rear bumpers and door handles. The overall impression is wonderful and stately. This Rolls was ordered new by J. Cohen, Esq. at Kenilworth Court, Edgbaston, Birmingham, England. Mr. Cohen loved this Rolls. He owned the car from the time Hoopers delivered it to him in January 1948 until it transferred to its second owner in 1964. In 1995, WVA68 was owned by Karen W. MacHarg from Pinehurst, North Carolina. Ms. MacHarg enjoyed the car. The file history contains a letter from the author of the book on Silver Wraith motorcars, Mr. Bradford Powers of Palmer, Mass. In October 1995, Mr. Powers wrote to Ms. MacHarg stating that it must be one of the lowest original mileage Silver wraiths in the World. WVA68 was included in Mr. Powers book on Silver Wraiths. Ms. MacHarg sold the car to Mr. Jeff Minogue, a significant collector of Rolls-Royce motorcars in Northbrook, Illinois. It remained in his collection for nearly twenty years. WVA68 was purchased by us to remain in our collection. It was a featured motorcar in our recent wedding. We presently have no choice but to offer it for sale with great reluctance. Upon delivery of the car to us, we had approximately $12,000 worth of mechanical improvements made. The maintenance and repairs were performed by the last remaining factory trained Rolls-Royce engineer in North America, Mr. Roger Ford. These improvements include new brake drums, shoes, and hoses, complete and thorough major tune-up including carburetor rebuild, ignition wires, valve adjustment. The fuel tank was cleaned and lined, new fuel pump and thorough cleaning of the fuel system including a new sending unit. Five new tubes and white wall tires were purchased and installed on newly painted wheels. The compression was checked and it was measured at the correct factory level in all six cylinders at 100 ft lbs. The chassis was cleaned and detailed. Please examine the photographs carefully to see the wonderful condition of the original rear leaf spring gators (leather covers). This is indicative of a low mileage car that has not seen weather. They are in beautiful shape. The paint was thoroughly color sanded and looks beautiful. This model is the last year of the CCCA Full Classic status which are welcome at concours events throughout the US. After the improvements we participated in the La Jolla Motor Tour and the La Concours d'Elegance held on April 2014. The car drove 200 miles beautifully with continued operations at appropriate operating temperatures and oil pressure. It performs well at highway speeds and has plenty of power to climb hills, etc. Of course the brakes are brilliant! The instruments and radio work but the trafficators (turn signals) only work slightly. WVA68 will benefit from the following three areas: 1-Chassis/mechanical: the engine mount replaced (a new mount is included), front end rubber should be replaced and front end detailed; 2-Interior: the leather should be re-dyed and a new red leather cover made for the drivers seat (it was ordered new with an extra cover) and new Wilton carpet installed; and, 3-Exterior: the black paint needs lacquer touch-up for burned through areas from color sanding. WVA68 and retains its original engine W153A. It is Hooper's body number 9408 based on design 8034, a Touring Limousine. This is a gorgeous Silver Wraith that we are selling from our personal collection. It is with regret that we must sell this elegant motorcar. This is an opportunity to add a rare and beautiful car to your collection. WVA68 comes complete with large and small tools and Owners Handbook (the car can be sold with or without the tools and handbook). We are in the process of obtaining a current California title. Please contact Harry Clark at [email protected] or call us at 951.901.5088. WVA68 may be seen and inspected at our facility in Temecula, CA Wine Country. auction.-->http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/knsAAOSwbqpT8ozw/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/knsAAOSwbqpT8ozw/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/sqcAAOSwxCxT8oz7/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/sqcAAOSwxCxT8oz7/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/xQUAAOSwEK9T8o0J/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/xQUAAOSwEK9T8o0J/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/xdsAAOSwEK9T8o0V/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/xdsAAOSwEK9T8o0V/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/SUQAAOSwVFlT8o0n/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/SUQAAOSwVFlT8o0n/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/Sv0AAOSwVFlT8o1E/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/Sv0AAOSwVFlT8o1E/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/macAAOSwbqpT8o1d/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/macAAOSwbqpT8o1d/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/xvEAAOSwnDZT8o1q/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/xvEAAOSwnDZT8o1q/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/E4EAAOSwGvhT8o11/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/E4EAAOSwGvhT8o11/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/sNQAAOSwPe1T8o1~/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/sNQAAOSwPe1T8o1~/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/6jEAAOSwxH1T8o2H/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/6jEAAOSwxH1T8o2H/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTYwMFgxMDYz/z/slMAAOSwPe1T8o2T/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTYwMFgxMDYz/z/slMAAOSwPe1T8o2T/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/7BgAAOSwxH1T8o2h/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/7BgAAOSwxH1T8o2h/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/Fv4AAOSwGvhT8o2q/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/Fv4AAOSwGvhT8o2q/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/EjcAAOSwq7JT8o2y/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/EjcAAOSwq7JT8o2y/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/zLsAAOSwnDZT8o27/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/zLsAAOSwnDZT8o27/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/GNgAAOSwGvhT8o3G/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/GNgAAOSwGvhT8o3G/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTYwMFgxMDYz/z/UwoAAOSwVFlT8o3O/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTYwMFgxMDYz/z/UwoAAOSwVFlT8o3O/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/ZpgAAOSw7NNT8o3Y/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/ZpgAAOSw7NNT8o3Y/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/CwAAAOSwDk5T8o3h/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/CwAAAOSwDk5T8o3h/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/wkEAAOSwxCxT8o3z/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/wkEAAOSwxCxT8o3z/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/R24AAOSwd4tT8o3-/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/R24AAOSwd4tT8o3-/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTYwMFgxMDYz/z/GAUAAOSwq7JT8o4I/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTYwMFgxMDYz/z/GAUAAOSwq7JT8o4I/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/11IAAOSwEK9T8o4S/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/11IAAOSwEK9T8o4S/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/xM4AAOSwxCxT8o4c/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/xM4AAOSwxCxT8o4c/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/Gk0AAOSwq7JT8o4q/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/Gk0AAOSwq7JT8o4q/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/qQoAAOSwbqpT8o4w/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/qQoAAOSwbqpT8o4w/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/H9kAAOSwGvhT8o45/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/H9kAAOSwGvhT8o45/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/bbIAAOSw7NNT8o4~/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/bbIAAOSw7NNT8o4~/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/SoQAAOSwRLZT8o5I/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/SoQAAOSwRLZT8o5I/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/2xQAAOSwEK9T8o5T/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/2xQAAOSwEK9T8o5T/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTYwMFgxMDYz/z/-TQAAOSwxH1T8o5f/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTYwMFgxMDYz/z/-TQAAOSwxH1T8o5f/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/wgYAAOSwPe1T8o56/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/wgYAAOSwPe1T8o56/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/y7gAAOSwxCxT8o6E/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/y7gAAOSwxCxT8o6E/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/32kAAOSwEK9T8o6S/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/32kAAOSwEK9T8o6S/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/xhgAAOSwPe1T8o6q/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/xhgAAOSwPe1T8o6q/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/36QAAOSwnDZT8o6~/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/36QAAOSwnDZT8o6~/$_16.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/tE8AAOSwbqpT8o7P/$_5.JPGhttp://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2M1gxNjAw/z/tE8AAOSwbqpT8o7P/$_16.JPGhttp://i.eb Rolls Royce, Silver Wraith, Hooper Limo, Rust Free, Gorgeous!!Year1948MakeRolls-RoyceModelOtherVINWVA68Mileage78310TransmissionManualEngine6 CylinderExterior ColorBlackInterior ColorRedTitleClearThis is a gorgeous 1948 Rolls-Royce Hooper Touring Limousine that has been lovingly cared for and has beautiful coach lines. All vehicles are sold as-is unless otherwise specified. I have done my best to accurately describe this vehicle. It is up to the buyer to come see and further inspect the car before the end of the auction.-->

Rolls Royce, Silver Wraith, Hooper Limo, Rust Free, Gorgeous!!Year1948MakeRolls-RoyceModelOtherVINWVA68Mileage78310TransmissionManualEngine6 CylinderExterior ColorBlackInterior ColorRedTitleClearThis is a gorgeous 1948 Rolls-Royce Hooper Touring Limousine that has been lovingly cared for and has beautiful coach lines.
