The blue paint has lots of metallic that give a good shine, the painted silver stripes look just right, the 17 inch Bullitt wheels look right on the car, the 5.0 roller engine fits right and pushes the car good, the C4 automatic transmission shifts good, the black Pony interior is the only color to have in this car, the car drives good with power steering, it stop OK with 4 wheel drums, the gauges all work and are high dollar after market. 78 PICTURES BELOW, JUST SCROLL DOWN TO SEE THEM ALL! HISTORY: The car was born in California, a man in Fort Wayne, Indiana bought the car and started the up grades and restoration. He did good untill it came down to wiring, this is where lots of guys give up. The wiring was not hooked up or hooked up wrong when we bought the car. The lights did not work, gauges did not work, radio did not work, car had to be jumped at the relay, the switch did not work correctly. We ordered new sending units for the gauges, the old ones were wrong, new ignision switch, new turn signal switch in the steering column and changes wires that were hooked up wrong. All the gauges and lights now work. The wires were not burned just mostly disconnected. We bought the car from a car restoring friend in Ohio, he bought it from the guy in Indiana. The guy in Indiana bought tons of new stuff, had the car painted, had the interior put in and then gave up. I do not know how long it set, my guess is 3 or 4 years. HOW MANY MILES ON THE CAR? I do not know, the odometer was not hooked up and milage is exempt on old cars. HOW IS THE PAINT? I consider it good upper end driver quality. The paint color is a dark blue with lots of metallic, the stripes are silver and painted on. The body is straight other than a couple of very minor ripple in the drivers door. Several touched up chips from setting arount, but no dents or dings. The headlight rims/buckets are darker than the other paint, they must have been painted off the car with more coats of paint. HOW IS THE INTERIOR? The black Pony interior is good, most of all of it looks like he put it in new. Seat covers show no wear or fading, carpet very good, dash panel has no crackes or waves. The headliner looks new, it does have some waves at the bottom of the rear. HOW IS THE CHROME? Bumpers are new, window stainless is real nice, but has some minor dings, I'm pretty sure they were done when putting it back on after painting. Gas cap has very minor pitting, emblems average condition. HOW IS THE GLASS? New windshield, side windows roll up and down good. HEADLIGHTS WORK, TAIL LIGHTS WORK, TURN SIGNALS WORK, BRAKE LIGHTS WORK, GAUGE LIGHTS WORK. WIPERS WORK, RADIO WORKS, HEATER BLOWER WORKS, SPEEDOMETER WORKS, TACHOMETER WORKS, OIL GAUGE WORKS, TEMP GAUGES WORKS, VOLTS GAUGE WORK. HORN IS NOT WORKING, ITS DUE TO BUSH CONTACT IN THE STEERING WHEELS. WHAT ARE THE WHEELS? 17 inch bullett wheels off a late model Mustang. They are good, the drivers side rubes a little on a hard turn backing out of my garage. No cuts due to the rub, I can just hear a little. The Bullett wheels are decent, the picture I posted is the worst on, it has a scuff on the outer edge. WHAT IS THE ENGINE? Its a good running 5.0 roller out of a late 80s Mustang. It fits with no modifications, it runs good with a MSD ignision and Holley 4 barrell carburetor. It has a electric fan and high efficent aluminum radiator. I hear no knocks or rattles. All we did is put new spark plugs in it, it does have electronic ignision. WAHT IS THE TRANSMISSION? Its a C4 automatic. WHAT IS THE EXHUST? Dual exhust with stock manifolds and turn downs on the mufflers. Exhaust is rusty color, but I see no holes, I see some ugly welds where it was put on. Car does have power steering, some play in the steering box, but usable. Brakes are drums on all 4, we did put new wheel cycliners on because the car has set for so long. NEW DOOR AND TURNK RUBBER. YOUR CONSIDERATION we have for sale a real good looking 1965 Mustang done in a Shelby racing look. The blue paint has lots of metallic that give a good shine, the painted silver stripes look just right, the 17 inch Bullitt wheels look right on the car, the 5.0 roller engine fits right and pushes the car good, the C4 automatic transmission shifts good, the black Pony interior is the only color to have in this car, the car drives good with power steering, it stop OK with 4 wheel drums, the gauges all work and are high dollar after market. 78 PICTURES BELOW, JUST SCROLL DOWN TO SEE THEM ALL! HISTORY: The car was born in California, a man in Fort Wayne, Indiana bought the car and started the up grades and restoration. He did good untill it came down to wiring, this is where lots of guys give up. The wiring was not hooked up or hooked up wrong when we bought the car. The lights did not work, gauges did not work, radio did not work, car had to be jumped at the relay, the switch did not work correctly. We ordered new sending units for the gauges, the old ones were wrong, new ignision switch, new turn signal switch in the steering column and changes wires that were hooked up wrong. All the gauges and lights now work. The wires were not burned just mostly disconnected. We bought the car from a car restoring friend in Ohio, he bought it from the guy in Indiana. The guy in Indiana bought tons of new stuff, had the car painted, had the interior put in and then gave up. I do not know how long it set, my guess is 3 or 4 years. HOW MANY MILES ON THE CAR? I do not know, the odometer was not hooked up and milage is exempt on old cars. HOW IS THE PAINT? I consider it good upper end driver quality. The paint color is a dark blue with lots of metallic, the stripes are silver and painted on. The body is straight other than a couple of very minor ripple in the drivers door. Several touched up chips from setting arount, but no dents or dings. The headlight rims/buckets are darker than the other paint, they must have been painted off the car with more coats of paint. HOW IS THE INTERIOR? The black Pony interior is good, most of all of it looks like he put it in new. Seat covers show no wear or fading, carpet very good, dash panel has no crackes or waves. The headliner looks new, it does have some waves at the bottom of the rear. HOW IS THE CHROME? Bumpers are new, window stainless is real nice, but has some minor dings, I'm pretty sure they were done when putting it back on after painting. Gas cap has very minor pitting, emblems average condition. HOW IS THE GLASS? New windshield, side windows roll up and down good. HEADLIGHTS WORK, TAIL LIGHTS WORK, TURN SIGNALS WORK, BRAKE LIGHTS WORK, GAUGE LIGHTS WORK. WIPERS WORK, RADIO WORKS, HEATER BLOWER WORKS, SPEEDOMETER WORKS, TACHOMETER WORKS, OIL GAUGE WORKS, TEMP GAUGES WORKS, VOLTS GAUGE WORK. HORN IS NOT WORKING, ITS DUE TO BUSH CONTACT IN THE STEERING WHEELS. WHAT ARE THE WHEELS? 17 inch bullett wheels off a late model Mustang. They are good, the drivers side rubes a little on a hard turn backing out of my garage. No cuts due to the rub, I can just hear a little. The Bullett wheels are decent, the picture I posted is the worst on, it has a scuff on the outer edge. WHAT IS THE ENGINE? Its a good running 5.0 roller out of a late 80s Mustang. It fits with no modifications, it runs good with a MSD ignision and Holley 4 barrell carburetor. It has a electric fan and high efficent aluminum radiator. I hear no knocks or rattles. All we did is put new spark plugs in it, it does have electronic ignision. WAHT IS THE TRANSMISSION? Its a C4 automatic. WHAT IS THE EXHUST? Dual exhust with stock manifolds and turn downs on the mufflers. Exhaust is rusty color, but I see no holes, I see some ugly welds where it was put on. Car does have power steering, some play in the steering box, but usable. Brakes are drums on all 4, we did put new wheel cycliners on because the car has set for so long. NEW DOOR AND TURNK RUBBER. Steve Mazor, the Auto Club of Southern California's chief automotive engineer, says that while some people freak out when they see the Check Engine light," Its important to note that Check engine lights are primarily emissions based lights. They are different from more important lights like "Engine Oil Pressure Warning Light" or "Engine Temperature Warning Light". Service Engine soon or "Check Engine" If the light comes on, Mazor says the driver should first see if the gas cap is loose: That's a common cause. A loose cap sends an error message to the car's computer, reporting a leak in the vapor recovery system, which is one aspect of a car's emissions system. If the gas cap is loose, tighten it and continue driving. Even so, it will take some time for the light to go off, he says. Other times the Check Engine light will come on if you fuel the vehicle while running the car. Many people do this in the heat of the summer, or the cold of the winter. This is called a "VAPOR GLITCH. This will kick on the light since it will allow more oxygen in the system than what is normal. Thus the computer will think there is a vapor leak. Furthermore, if you top off the gas, you may inadvertantly cause to much gas in the gas tank baffle system, thus kicking on the vapor light. Mazor says that even an inexpensive code reader could be useful for car owners, even if they aren't mechanically inclined, because the majority of the time the lights come on, they are temporary glitches in the system due to the above mentioned reasons. A $20 scanner can be used to clear the code and is much cheaper than paying a shop $80 for nothing. Some people insist on paying a shop to read the signal codes. Please remember you will often get whats called "Mixed Signals" in the automotive repair industry. Because even after you have paid $80 to get the code from the mechanic, the code and its meaning are often open to interpretation. This is where many shops make lots of money charging customers to repair seniors or hoses that in nor way needed replaced. Many shops would rather make money on the labour and parts to ensure you will not have to come back, than to clear the code, even when they know in all likelihood it was a "vapor glitch". For example: If a vehicle sits on our lot, and is not driven daily for 2 months, certain carbons will build up in the exhaust. If you then come and buy that same vehicle and drive it back to your state at 70mph for 10 hours straight, you very well may kick on a check engine light since the seniors will be getting signals of too much carbon build up. THEREFORE IT IS VERY COMMON that a Check Engine light comes on when nothing is wrong with the car, Mazor says. "It could be a temporary problem caused by a change in humidity or other factors. In such cases, the light should go off by itself after a short time." Even if there is a legitimate problem, 95% of the time it is only a O2 sensor (part of the emissions system, monitoring and helping adjust the air-fuel mixture) Loose gas cap, Mass air flow sensor (monitoring the amount of air mixed in the fuel injection system). In a worse case scenario IF the check engine light starts to flash on and off constantly you will want to immediately take it to a shop. In all likelihood it will only need a Catalytic converter or new Spark plug wires. At the time or our inspection ALL CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ISSUES WILL BE FIXED (unless noted in the video) . However, we CANNOT warranty check engine lights. We do a once a week re-inspection of each vehicle on our lot. Often during those re-inspections we find new check engine lights that have come on. 99% of the time it is a VAPOR GLITCH. We have often seen vehicles that have never had a vapor glitch sit on our lot for 2 or 3 months, only to have the vapor glitch come during the buyers test drive or soon after. Since we do not have a crystal ball, we cannot guarantee this will not happen. If we are doing a delivery, and during the course of the delivery the light comes on, you cannot reject the vehicle. Please remember we do our best to provide a quality USED VEHICLE. But at the end of the day, it is a used vehicle. #5. Unless otherwise noted, all of our vehicles come with tires that passed the Certified Inspection. New tires come with 10/32s of tread depth. We fail tires below 4/32s. If that is the case we will note it in the video or in the description section that "vehicle will need tires ASAP". Sometimes tires are close to 4/32s. ANY VEHICLE WITH TIRES BETWEEN 4/32s AND 7/32s WILL BE PRICED $500 LOWER TO GIVE YOU MONEY TO PURCHASE NEW ONES WITHIN THE FIRST FEW MONTHS OR MILES DRIVEN,DEPENDING ON HOW MANY MILES YOU DRIVE PER MONTH. The design of the Prowler was said to have been inspired after Chrysler engineers were given free rein to create whatever they wanted in a "hot rod" or "sportster" type vehicle. One of the most striking design features of the Prowler are the open, Indy racer style front wheels. The Prowler featured a powertrain from Chrysler's LH-cars, a 3.5 L Chrysler SOHC V6 engine 24v producing 253 hp at 6400 rpm version of the engine.It is coupled to a 4-speed Autostick automatic transmission. The transmission was located at the rear of the vehicle and joined to the engine by a torque tube that rotated at engine speed, an arrangement similar to that used by the C5 Corvette, Porsche 944 and Alfa Romeo 75, and helped to facilitate a desirable 50-50 front-rear weight distribution. Offered for sale is my 1993 Cadillac Sedan deVille Spring Special Edition. I am the second owner, and the car has accumulated only 89,7xx miles. Complete history including all service records, always serviced at Ed Martin Cadillac in Anderson Indiana since new until June of 2010 when the original owner sold the car. The first owner stated the car was never driven in the snow and rarely in the rain. Built in Feb 1993 it was sold in May of 1993, and garage kept from day one. The car wears CLC Senior badge #774 awarded at the 2011 Grand National, scoring 98 points. Finished in code 72 Carmine metallic, the car has Code 40T white factory Phaeton top with Code 78 Garnet leather interior. The Spring Edition included perforated leather inserts with solid leather bolsters on the seats. Also unique were the body color outside door handles (from the Touring sedans of the era) and the package included gold ornamentation, most of which I have replaced in the past 2 years with NOS parts. The car currently wears brand new Bridgestone radials with the correct whitewalls mounted on professionally refinished original aluminum lace wheels. The white Phaeton top is a one year only color option for the SdV. According to 2 trusted sources, only 20 cars were produced in this color combination by the factory. The Phaeton top was installed off line by ASC at a facility adjacent to Orion Assembly. Cadillac then did final inspection before shipment to the dealer. The car was ordered with option package C, which included remote fuel filler door release, digital instrument cluster, automatic day/night driver and interior rear view mirror, trumpet 4 note horns and trunk convenience net. The car was also ordered with the security package including theft deterrent and keyless entry systems. Other standard or optional equipment included 6 ways power driver and passenger seats with manual recliners, power windows, automatic door locks, trunk lid release and pull down, illuminated vanity mirrors and entry system, and trunk mat. Climate control and cruise control work perfectly, as does EVERY standard and optional piece of equipment. Keyless entry with both original remotes were repaired with an NOS module and function as designed. The original radio was serviced by an AC-Delco repair center, including refreshing the cassette player. The original power antenna works well. Mechanically the car is as close to perfect as possible, As stated, the original owner had all suggested maintenance done by the selling dealer. The front brakes were refreshed with AC-Delco parts including calipers, hoses, pads and rotors. The rear brakes look brand new with no corrosion even on the hardware. The anti-lock brakes systems works as designed. Brake fluid has been flushed and replaced with DOT4 fluid. The speed sensitive suspension works properly, with new front struts having been installed at around 50K. The electronic suspension control has been modified per a Cadillac service bulletin to prevent false warning light activation. The electronic level control functions perfectly, although the rear struts have some cosmetic corrosion around the air bladders. The speed sensitive steering also works properly. The steering pump was resealed and an NOS pressure line installed in late 2011. There are NO fluid leaks at all. I have noted mileage of 26.1 MPG on longer trips and average 20 locally using the specified premium fuel. Coolant was flushed, and replaced with the proper “green” coolant and GM seal tabs fall of 2013. Transmission shifts smoothly, again with no fluid leaks. There are no warning lights on or fault codes stored in the computers. The interior is very very nice. The leather is buttery soft and shows only minor creasing on the driver seat cushion bolster. I have cleaned the leather wrapped steering wheel which has good color with a couple of tiny knicks, probably from the original owner’s rings. There are NO cracks in the dash or door armrests, and the headliner shows no looseness. I had the rear door stationary window closeouts for the Phaeton top recovered.. Carpeting is in good condition, and the original mats are in the car. Also included is another set of front mats which I use as “driver” mats. The trunk lining is nice and includes the 93 only trunk mat. Except as noted below, the paint is original. There are a number of small chips and scratches which have been touched up with GM touch-up paint. As is problematic with these cars, there are spots on some of the lower body plastic cladding panels where the paint has flaked off, primarily the lower front fender rears where stones have chipped the paint. The Phaeton top is extremely clean. The material used by the factory on white tops was Haartz convertible top material. In the interest of full disclosure, I must admit the car was involved in an accident in September of 1993 when the car was 4 months old. The original owner said she was sideswiped by a dui driver in downtown Anderson on a sunny Sunday afternoon. I have a copy of the repair estimate, and there was NO structural damage noted or repaired. Both left doors and the left outer quarter panel were replaced with new GM parts by Ed Martin Cadillac’s body shop. The work was of high quality, and the paint match is very very close even after 20 years. Admittedly under certain light conditions the slight difference is apparent to the trained eye. Even the hand applied gold pinstripes were duplicated very nicely. The biggest fault was the Phaeton top panel on the left rear door was originally reinstalled slightly out of place. When that was corrected there was one mounting hole filled and touched up. The hole is not visible standing beside the car as it is obscured by the molding. It is visible when on the ground looking up. The underbody and engine compartment are both very clean. To be 100% show condition the suspension components and rear bumper mounting should be refinished.. The chrome bumpers and stainless trim is very nice as well. I have a large number of digital pictures of the car. The car is in storage but is available for inspection evenings after 6 PM EST or anytime weekends. I am located in Northwest Ohio, 1 hour west of Toledo or 1 hour northeast of Fort Wayne Indiana, just 5 miles from an exit off I80-90.
