1993 Mercedes-Benz 500E, 5.0L V8, Porsche Suspension, Carlsson 19s, Alpine Sound, Sunroof, Heated Recaro Seats 1 of 498 for '93...Super Rare Ultra Maintained MB Classic Super Sedan!! Jointly developed with Porsche, the car was a luxurious sporty sedan that is nearly unanimously regarded to be one of the last cars built by Mercedes with no thought for development expenses in mind. Generously fitted with numerous standard accessories and a 5.0 l v8 engine with 4-valve cylinder heads capable of a raw output of 326 hp, the entirely hand-built e 500 is close to a work of art. And how wouldn't it be with the plenty of parts sourced from the 500sl roadster, such as the performance 4-piston caliper brake discs. Furthermore, the car was saturated with extra-components with buyers having had few options available for further customization, such as a CD changer and a phone. The theory was simple: stuff the Mercedes 500sl's wheels, brakes, transmission, and 322-hp v-8 into the w124 e-class. The build process was less simple. The 500e's flared-fender body shell was assembled at Porsche's Zuffenhausen facility and then shipped to the Mercedes plant in Sindelfingen for painting. After that, it was sent back to Porsche for final assembly. There were only 498 units built in 1993 and a total 1,505 units built for the entire line (1992-1994). This rare example has only 133,000 miles and 2 senior owners! From what I can tell the car is a two owner vehicle despite what the Carfax. The other owners only owned it a short period of time and then flipped the car to new owners. The original owner Mr. Robert Minerich is a prominent cattle baron and land owner out of Richmond, KY. From what I can gather there is also a Robert Minerich Jr who lives in Fallbrook/Yucaipa, CA who is his Son. He most likely gave the car to his son around 40k miles which is when it went out to California. The son kept it till around 2004 when it was sold at auction, a dealer acquired it, and shortly thereafter sold it at 96k mi to Mrs. Aurora Taylor, a little old lady in Whittier/Ontario, CA area. Her and her husband owned it from 2004 to 2014 selling it with 131k only putting about 30k miles on it. The car was well maintained by a small local shop but she didn't keep any of the receipts. I had a 30 min conversation with her about the car. She also said radiator and water pump were done shortly before she passed the car along as well as the full wiring harness, alternator, and belts which I have the receipts for. This car had an original MSRP of over $80,000 in 1993, so don't miss your chance to own it for a fraction of what has been invested.. The following is a list of options as this 500E is currently equipped: - Base MSRP $79,200 - 5.0L 322hp 8-Cyl. - 4 Speed Automatic Transmission - 4 Wheel Disc Brakes (Same Size as SL500) - Porsche Designed Suspension w/ Hydraulic Leveling - 19" Carlsson Alloys w/ Almost New Radials - Auto Climate Control - Cruise Control - Gray Recaro Leather Interior - Alpine Audio System - Power sunroof - Power Seats - Telescoping Steering - Power windows - Power Locks - Power Antenna The car is finished in beautiful Arctic White. The body on the car is laser straight, and does not have even a single door ding. This Benz has always been garage kept and pampered its entire life and really shows. The car has never been hit, has no accident history, and still retains all original body panels as evidenced by matching VIN stickers on every panel. The car is riding on 19" Carlsson (built by OZ) alloy wheels, specifically designed for the 500E. These wheels are an excellent compliment to the aggressive fenders found only in this model. The finish is in nice shape with only a few minor blemishes. They are wrapped in almost new sport radials and look great. The beautiful gray leather interior and is all original and looks like new. Dash, door panels, carpet and seats are in like new condition. The dash and almost all of the wood panels are crack free and look like new. Complete set of tools, jack, and key are also included. Everything works in the car.. lights, gauges, radio, seats, windows, locks, a/c blows ice cold, etc. The car will also include all of its original books, quick reference guides, and service history. It also has the original full size spare and tire which has never even touched the pavement. Mechanically, this Benz is in perfect condition and runs and drives great. The car starts up idles perfect and doesn't smoke or leak. The car has a very strong automatic transmission that shifts perfect. The motor puts out 326hp and is plenty to move this nimble E Class around. The car has just been serviced by an authorized Mercedes Benz technician. This car is very clean under the hood and really shows how its previous owner took excellent care of it. Recent work includes new engine wiring harness, mass airflow sensor, throttle body, brake pads/ sensors, alternator, belts and hoses. This car is ready to go! The car is in excellent condition inside and out. The exterior of this 500E is stunning in Arctic White with Light Grey interior and is definitely one of the most desired color combination for the E-Class Mercedes. This is a super rare car and will make an excellent driver or collectors item, and with these super low miles..you cant go wrong! This car is also CARFAX certified! Car just recently passed CA smog. 1961 Corvette Roadster FI - 315hp NCRS #19873 / Top Flight Lowered Price from $135,000 to $109,900 Thank you for viewing this 1961 Corvette Roadster, factory 315HP Fuelie. This car spent its early life in southern California, and has only had 3 owners since. A very good friend of mine bought this car in 1977, with 76K on the odometer, he wanted a Corvette that he could drive as a daily driver. He found a newspaper ad for this 1961 Corvette, hopped in his vehicle and rushed over, not like we do it today, I miss those days (sort of). He made it over to Manhattan Beach California not far from where he lived and struck a deal. He wasn't planning on buying a Fuelie, but what a pleasant surprise. He always wanted to do a ground up restoration, but it took until around 1991 to start. He started the 3 year restoration in 1991 and finished in 1994. He showed it in 2 NCRS events, and won the Top Flight Award in both showings, 1996 and 1997. While at one of the showings he was approached by a photographer, and the car was photographed to be used in a 1998 Corvette Calender. The car has been occasionally shown in the last 15 years, but he has just recently decided to part with the car, hard to do, it has been like a family member. His wife and himself have some other things on their list of things to do and the Corvette needs a good home. Hopefully you will see in the pictures below and information that I have provided what a wonder car this is. This car is very rare, only around 10,939 Corvettes were built in 1961 in the first place. Out of those cars only 385 Corvettes were produced with the Ermine White and Sateen Silver Coves. Black interior was the Standard color but only 32% of them came in black, the most popular was red, which made the Standard Black more of a rarity for the whole production of Corvettes. Only 13.5% came equipped with the 315hp Engine option, with these options possibly around 20 no more then 60 were built like this one, and how many of them exist today that look like this one. The car has 86,812 miles on it, when he purchased it in 1977, it had around 76k on it. This car has been through a full body off restoration, and is basically like new again. This again is a NCRS Top Flight car, so it has been picked apart, and then some, it is a great representation of what a Purist wants in a Corvette. Please view all the pictures, and information, you should find all the information you need about this car. If you have questions please call me, or email, Thanks, Jason 503-910-2085. The condition of this car is excellent, paint looks great with a very nice gloss. The paint was applied around 1991, with final assembly in 1994. So the paint and restoration are almost 20 years old. But if I told you it was restored 5 years ago, you would assume I was correct. The car is in excellent shape. Flaws on the car, there are 2 very small chips on the car, that have been touched up, and you really can not see them unless you look really close and I point them out, one on the rear corner passenger side, and now I am sitting here thinking were the other one is and forgot, I'll have to look again. The hood, under lights you can see some imperfections from the heat of the engine, I am guessing. You can not see this out in the sun, only lights, and you have to look at the right angle. This may be something you want to fix down the road, maybe not. I tried to take a couple pictures outside and inside, and I can not get my camera to focus on what I am talking about. The body on this car is excellent, very straight when you look down the sides, and up on a lift the bottom edges look the same, very clean paint, very clean body for a vintage Corvette, the body is probably better then when they came out new, no signs of any fatigue, or cracking, and all the seams look very good, with no shrinkage. This car has been stored in a heated garage since restored. The chrome and bright work, excellent, no pitting, no scratched, excellent shape. Glass is in excellent shape. Overall the exterior looks great, on of the nicest cars that I have been able to be involved with, it has been a pleasure for sure . The interior is in excellent shape. The seats, door panels, dash, are in very nice shape. The carpet has very little wear on it, it is not faded out, the sun is making it look a little bit more of a grey, but it is the factory color. The chrome and bright work inside are excellent. All the instruments work, the tach, oil pressure, odometer etc. The Wonderbar radio is working as well, this is a rare option. The headliner on the hard top is in excellent shape as well. The seat belts are correct as well. Overall a clean interior and show ready. I mentioned the convertible soft top, it has only been up a few times since restoration, but it accidently got pinched, and a 1" cut was put in the side so it needs to be repaired. Overall the interior is in show condition, and pleasant to ride in. Mechanically this car is perfect, it runs excellent, engine and transmission were completely gone through, see pictures. You can eat off the engine it is that clean. Everything is working, very easy to start, the car is dialed in. It is a trailer queen, but it has been driven to local shows, so it starts and runs, and you can drive it and enjoy it. Many trailer queens, these days don't get any road time, and really have a lot of issues because of not being used. The engine is original to the car, with the vin number stamped on it. The Fuel injection unit is correct for the car as well. The Master brake cylinder is incorrect for the car, darn close but the judges say it is not, a correct one goes with the car, if you want to change it down the road. All the right stuff is on the car under the hood and underneath. The transmission is a correct T10 4spd close ratio, I do not believe they vin stamped them in this year, like the engine. The rearend is the original, P case, 3:70 Positraction unit. This car underneath is excellent, a little dusting may be needed, but it is very clean and very detailed underneath to original standards. Again this is a NCRS Top Flight car, so it has been held to a high standard to get an award like that. The tires are correct, but have some slight superficial cracking on the surface. The tires are over 20 years old, but have very little miles on them. I have driven the car, and it drives like a new 1961 Corvette, very smooth, the transmission shifts nicely, no issues. All the lights on the exterior work, and are bright. No expense was spared when restoring this Corvette, but the attention to detail was the most important thing when this car was restored and it shows. Please read the auction, look at the pictures, give me a call or text me, would be glad to help you with questions before you bid. I have tried to describe it best I can, please look at all the pictures, please call, if you need help, or text me, and I can answer. This is when he got serious and decided to take it apart and do the nut and bolt restoration. The car was very clean, quarter had primmer on it, but underneath was very clean, there was a little bit of damage right above the taillights, and a litte bit above the wheel lip, pretty minor. My friend lived in Whittier, CA. He was looking for a special Corvette, this was around 1977. He found an add for a 1961 Corvette, and decided to go to Manhattan Beach, CA, to see it. Gentleman listed it in the paper for $400, but after a phone call, guy said it was a typo, it was supposed to be $4000. He went over to see it , wasn't planning on buying a Fuelie car, but it was a big bonus, Sold. This car has had the same ownership since 1977 to Present. When he bought it, it was painted Maroon. He used it for a daily driver for some time, and when he moved to Salem, Oregon, he decided to do a full restoration on it. It was not until he took it all apart that he realized that there was white paint in some areas, then ran across some chalk marks that told him it was original Ermine White car. HT - Factory Hardtop, you can see it on the seat back. When he started taking the car apart, he started noticing that it was originally white. Here is original Ivory, which they used coding for the Ermine White 403 on the firewall also on drivers door, and 403 on the Correct Instrument cluster so when they came down the Assembly line they would match, the 315hp cars I believe had a different tach. 44 behind the drivers seat, Black Vinyl Interior. As it was being assembled some of the car got to sit in the Dining room. 1st Showing, still wearing the Original Black California Plates, until he found a nice set of Oregon Plates. He also has some of the original Registrations from California from the 1960's and 70's. He is the 3rd registered owner of the car, and has been the proud owner since 1977. He is a very detailed gentleman, and liked to do everything right. These illustrations were drawn by himself, he would take parts and draw them so when he put it back together, he would have the right pieces correct bolts etc, it was a labor of love. He took it to 2 NCRS shows in 1996 and 1997, and got the highest honors the Top Flight Awards!!!! These are both reproductions, but in nice condition. This picture looks worse then it is, the top is new, back in 1992, but it got pinched, so there is a clean cut in it, 1" long, the rest is just the fold. It could be repaired so you could use it, but are you ever going to have it up while showing probably not, most people would have it with the Factory hardtop on it, since it was original to the car. Just wanted to show you it was there.
