The gear ratio is 3.73:1. This is the most desireable of all Duramax Diesels - the "LBZ" generation - the last version of the Duramax before they added emissions such as a Diesel Particulate Filter and such. This is the Crew Cab model and it has the LT3 trim package. This one really stands out thanks to the 4 inch Rancho lift kit. The tires, oil change, pitman arm, idler arm, glow plugs, fuel filter, air filter, and alignment are all freshly done by the local diesel shop who checked it out for me. I just put over 150 miles on it and it has performed flawlessly. This truck drives excellent and is ready to go. This truck has only had one single owner since new, and it has lived in the Austin and Dallas areas since new. I have the original title in hand showing that he purchased it on 7/4/2006 with 25 miles on the odometer. This truck has been well kept and cared for. There aren't any aftermarket modifications to the drivetrain - even the exhaust and air intake are factory. No performance chip or programmer. Just a really solid truck that's really to drive anywhere. No leaks, no blow-by, no issues. The interior is very clean. Everything looks great and the upholstery is all in excellent condition. No smells. Everything works perfect, from the windows to the door locks, heated seats, cruise control, etc.. The A/C is cold and the Heat is hot. No stains, tears, or worn spots. Very clean truck. Our History: Short Motor Company was founded by my Dad, Leo Short, in 1990 after he was a Snap-On Tool dealer for 9 years. He was guided in starting his business by his uncle, John Short, who owned several new and used car dealerships throughout Texas over the course of more than 30 years in the business. I started working for my Dad at age 16, finished high school, and began my college career toward my Associates Degree in Automotive Marketing and Management from Northwood University in Cedar Hill, TX. Terms and Conditions Fee and Tax Information: BUYERS FROM TEXAS: You will be charged 6.25% State Sales Tax (Sale Price x .0625), $33 Title Transfer Fee, .2365% Vehicle Inventory Tax (Sale Price x .002365), and a $50 Documentary Fee. New license plates, registration sticker, and safety/emissions inspection sticker will be taken care of at no charge to you.
