You are looking at one of the most tastefully done 1965 Impala Custom Resto-Mods that you’ll ever see. This Impala started life out as a 283 car and still retains the badging. But don’t let that fool you because under the hood is a healthy 454, 4 bolt main motor stroked to a 512. Professionally built by Rudy at Scorpion Racing Cleveland, Ohio, 600 HP and 650-ft.lb torque at 5000 RPMs. Lunati cam, Dart heads, aluminum rollers, Edelbrock polished multi-port intake, Sequential EFI wide band sensor fuel injection. Full SS exhaust including headers. All aluminum March Serpentine System and Griffin aluminum radiator with dual fans. Less than 500 miles since completed. The transmission is a professionally built 200 R-4 automatic, same transmission used in Buick Grand Nationals. Rear-end is a 12 bolt posi 3:73 gear and the trailing arms have been boxed completely rebuilt. This project started with a super solid, rust-free body. Original sheet metal including floor and trunk pans. The car was restored off the frame and all suspension parts were replaced and urethane bushings were used. The frame was powder coated. The original interior was retained in excellent condition, a testament to the overall condition of this car before it was restored. You just don’t see original interiors in this fine condition, as was the whole car before restoration. This hot rod is cornered with brand new BF Goodrich T/A radials wrapped on American Racing wheels. 4 wheel hydraulic disc brakes by Wilwood with vented/slotted rotors. All new Halogen lights. This car has a top of the line sound system consisting of 12 speakers plus 2 sub woofers, 1000 watts. Blue Tooth, CD/MP3 all hidden in the custom trunk. I could write volumes on this car as that’s what it would take to cover every aspect of this restoration. Serious buyers can speak to the owner to discuss in detail the build and restoration.
