As the clean Car Fax report and original selling dealership paperwork indicates this car was sold new at Bob Howard Chevrolet located in Oklahoma City, OK. It was purchased on 09-15-1997 by a customer was from Goddard, KS. The vehicle had 4 miles at time of delivery. This customer owned the car for over 13 years. It was sold to Ken Stansberry on 12-12 2010 who lived in Wichita, KS. He purchased the car with 360 miles. He serviced the car at Don Hattan Chevrolet on 04-20-2011 and the odometer reading was 739 miles. As the service records indicate he drove the car a total of 379 miles in a four month period. He then sold it to a dealer at an auction in Missouri on 04-25-2011. It appears the dealer sold it to another dealer at an auction on 05-24-2011 with 777 miles. The dealer titled the car for an auction in Scottsdale, Arizona and had it inspected in Costa Mesa, California. On 06-23-2011 it sold at auction with 779 miles. No clear coat fading or issues. Has a few small scratches and nics but nothing major that stands out. Has a small ding behind driver door which is not very noticeable. Overall I think the car looks excellent. Has factory wheels and hubcaps and nice set of Kuhmo tires which have good tread but are a little dry as with most super low mileage cars like this one. The interior is in beautiful condition. The seats look like they have never been sat in. Rear seats look excellent as well. Has a small heel hole below the gas pedal but other than that, near perfect. The dash, plastic surface areas, knobs and swithches are about as good as it's going to get. Headliner is falling a bit from gravity but not hitting my head when driving. AC blows ICE cold as it was just recharged and heater blows warm. Stereo sounds great. This car has no odd smells and is ready for use! Mechanically, the car runs and drives excellent. I have had is safety inspected and mechanically it is all there not needing anything. The car was very well taken care of from top to bottom. This California owned rust free Cararo was a garaged and babied vehicle, very hard to find in this shape with this mileage. No clear coat fading or issues. Has a few small scratches and nics but nothing major that stands out. Has a small ding behind driver door which is not very noticeable. Overall I think the car looks excellent. Has factory wheels and hubcaps and nice set of Kuhmo tires which have good tread but are a little dry as with most super low mileage cars like this one. The interior is in beautiful condition. The seats look like they have never been sat in. Rear seats look excellent as well. Has a small heel hole below the gas pedal but other than that, near perfect. The dash, plastic surface areas, knobs and swithches are about as good as it's going to get. Headliner is falling a bit from gravity but not hitting my head when driving. AC blows ICE cold as it was just recharged and heater blows warm. Stereo sounds great. This car has no odd smells and is ready for use! Mechanically, the car runs and drives excellent. I have had is safety inspected and mechanically it is all there not needing anything. Engine runs great and transmission shifts smooth. It steers nice and handle good on the freeway as well as around town. Drives as straight as an arrow. Has airbags and abs as well. This west coast car was only used in fair weather, it has only 99904 original miles and it is completely free of any corrosion. I have photographed the undercarriage from every angle so you can see how nicely kept this car really is. The glossy red finish is excellent with no fading or any dings or scratches, possibly a couple chips on the nose or a scuff down underneath the air dam but absolutely nothing negative to report on the exterior of the car. Glass is all crystal clear, no aftermarket tint or window films, shield shows no wiper wear or any pitting, one small chip that is difficult to point out as it is so small. The top is in good shape, hardly more than minimal wear is showing. Tires are newer in front and rears will need replacement soon (brand new tires will be included in the "Buy It Now" price). The interior is beautiful. The car belonged to a non-smoker so it is clean and fresh with no burns or foul odors. When we got the car, the leather was very dry (typical on dry west coast cars) so we have had the seating surfaces refinished in a leather tek that is far more durable and comfortable than the factory GM leather. All functions are fully operational aside from the fuel gauge which is pegged on full but all power windows, power locks, power seat, stereo and the ice-cold A/C are in great working order. Also, all lights including both fog-lamps are 100% operational. The car does also come with custom "Z28" crested floor mats, owners book, one set of original keys and the original window sticker. This drop-top runs and drives every bit as good as it looks. The engine is smooth, powerful and quiet and we have detected no leaks. Transmission shifts nicely, no grinding into any gear and no slipping out of gear either, clutch feels good, no slippage. Rear end is quiet as well, these cars are notorious for rear end whine. The car tracks down the road nicely, even with the professionally lowered suspension and the 18" tires its a fairly smooth ride, nice and tight. There are a few of these cars available out there but you will not find many that are this clean, have an accident free history and have absolutely no corrosion underneath or in the suspension. This car has very tasteful modifications that do not interfere with the vehicles mechanical or electrical integrity, it looks amazing, sounds incredible and handles like it's on rails.
