Factory options – Power Steering & AM/FM radio.Suspension – Complete Energy Suspension urethane bushing kit, Gabriel Ultra gas shocks, new ball joints, ties rods, concentric bolts at rear wishbone, and couplings.Engine - Complete top end overhaul (valve seals & gaskets), new water pump, starter, hoses, belts, intake & valve cover gaskets, heat riser for automatic choke, Quadrajet rebuild kit, replaced the points with a Mallory electronic pickup, new distributor cap, wires, wire loops, radiator was removed to be boiled/rodded, new vacuum lines, and spark plugs.Exhaust – New exhaust gaskets, exhaust donut gaskets, exhaust manifold studs, mufflers salvaged from a 72 Vette that was totaled with less than 5,000 miles on them, new stainless steel exhaust tips, and body bezels.Interior - New carpet, door panels, pillar panels, ventilation balls, bird cage seal kit. The remainder of the interior was re-dyed by Custom Color of Phoenix with the 3 step GM process in medium Saddle Brown. I installed the entire interior seal kit (doors, T tops)Paint - The Vette was originally Elkhart Green but painted a single stage Mille Migela Red when I bought the car. Its was a poor paint job (20 footer)! The body was sanded and a 2 stage urethane was applied. The basecoat is PPG Mille Migalo Red (1973 period correct) & the clearcoat is a Matrix high solids to prevent fading. The paint was was done by Christian Ortega of CO Designs. The Corvette body emblems & door handles were replaced.Misc - The factory radio was missing. It was replaced by a Retro Sound AM/FM/iPod deck/Alpine amp/Kicker 6 X 9 triaxial speakers). The factory clock was upgraded with a quartz movement. The speedometer & tachometer cables were replaced. The oil sending unit line & transmission gear reducer unit are new or rebuilt. I installed a factory antennae, mounting kit, and cable. The windshield wiper motor was serviced by Willcox Corvette. The entire vacuum system was tested and hoses replaced. The frame was stripped and sprayed with POR 15. The spare tire carrier was sprayed with bed liner. She has new tires, brakes, and rear brake lines.I drive this car daily and she absolutely flies, handles, and draws attention. I built this car to handle, look good, and withstand another 40 years.
