For Sale 1962 Corvette project with clear title in hand. I purchased car from a Estate where it had been sitting in a barn since 1977. At some point most of the paint was stripped off the car to start restoration but was never completed, I do not have a motor or top for the car. The cars Factory Bell housing, Transmission, Z bar, shifter, driveshaft and rear are still in the car. I have a Original set of seats and seat frames which are included with the sale. 1969 Corvette Coupe, 427/400hp, 4 speed. This is a very original example. Before we go any further I have ran this auction two times, and have had many trade offers, I would consider 66-67 pro st. big tire Nova, 1969-1973 pro st. big tire camaro, original factory 69 camaro or 70 Chevelle....Back to the corvette....It, s matching #'s engine, transmission, and rear end that's documented with the Tank Stick. The interior is all original, as well as a large portion of the paint. Just completed a service on the car and it really runs and drives great! Options include factory a/c (not currently functioning), p/b, p/s, am/fm radio and tilt/tele steering wheel. Not many of these 400 a-c Coupes were built. The car had a repair on the lower passenger side rear quarter, the paint was spotted in there and up onto the rear deck, this was done many years ago. The rest of the car is original un hit body panels. Overall the paint has a very nice shine, and very nice for it,s age, of course there are a few imperfections such as chips and scratches as you would expect from paint this old. All imperfections are detailed in the photos, the car looks great I personal would not paint the car. Interior is original as stated earlier, the driver seat has a tear in the seat bottom and back. The original carpet is nice but wore through over the high beam headlight button. The remainder of the interior is very nice and shows wear that you would expect from a 46 year old car. The 60,800 miles are correct, and documentation on current title. Under the hood is also original, the only component not original is the water pump, probably a hose or two and maybe some clamps. The bottom of the car is unrestored also, the front exhaust pipes are original GM pipes with correct GM part numbers, mid. pipes and mufflers are correct replacement, Original spare is present. The car has been very well maintained and runs and drives great. This is a very neat original complete piece, If you appreciate original cars, you will not be dissapointed. 1989 Chevrolet Corvette C4 RoadsterCar is in very good condition & is a daily driver. I purchased the car from the original owner's estate, and the car was garaged since new. Car will come with a protective car cover. This car runs & drives & shows very well, and appears to have been very well maintained. Paint is original & is in good condition with a few minor scratches & chips. Hood has an approximately 1" spider crack (shown in picture #24) and rear bumper has a minor paint crack/scrape towards the middle on the right side (see picture #23). Top is in good condition, works smoothly, folds down & away in less than 30 seconds. Everything works on the car except the rear up & down switches on the power seats & one of the 3 available, rear hatch release switches, (it has 2 others plus an emergency release cable to do this) located on the bottom of the drivers door. Please read this entire description before bidding: I am selling a 1992 Corvette, 6 speed manual, it has 102,495 miles, This would be considered a project type car, It runs and drives great. The tires are old and are in need of replacement. It has plenty of clutch with a new slave cylinder, however, when in neutral, you can hear the throw-out bearing jiggling around, but it does work. Shifting fast from 2nd to 3rd has a slight grind, if you shift slowly from 2nd to 3rd, its fine. All other gears shift fine. Engine has no issues. The interior is very clean. The exhaust has no issues, the undercarriage has no issues, The car is solid, no cracks in the fiberglass. If you look closely at pic #7 the right (upper) rear area of the car, you will see some small areas of the fiberglass (kind of) bubbling up, (its just in that area and can be easily repaired) rest of car is fine, Will need to be painted as the paint is extremely faded on the front hood. All lights, power seats,wipers, signals, fog-lights, power windows, all work! The weather stripping along the bottom of window on diver door and passenger door need replacing. The digital area of speedo (sometimes) shows correct miles and speed, sometimes it is blank. It will need additional interior cleaning, It does run great, but please keep in mind this is a project type car, Also please be a serious buyer and be prepared to leave the $250.00 deposit right after you win the bid and or purchase, (that is due to previous unpaid purchases on this car) Thank you for understanding. Power Rear window defogger Good Year GTII Eagles 55-60 % Good All Switches, Buttons, Lights, Gages Work as they should. This Corvette is equipped with Factory GM Headers, (THEY DO NOT LEAK) I have owned this car since 2003 I am the 3rd owner. It had 12,000 miles on it when I bought it. It had the original factory engine, It started giving me trouble due to the "Cross Fire Engine Noise" Computer Issues and throttle body problems. The original engine was replaced with a GM Factory ZZ4 350 ci Engine very strong and reliable. After Installation it was professedly tuned "House of Hot Rods" Mansfield Texas. This engine is very smooth and powerful, It must Have "Premium Fuel" It does get better mileage on good fuel. Please Note: All New Factory Air cleaner vents tubes and hoses were used to convert to the 1981 configuration to accept the "Factory GM ZZ4 350 Crate Engine From the "1982 350 CID V8 Cross Fire Injection Configuration which was rated at between 205 to 230 horsepower " Automatic Transmission went though a complete rebuild. With a B&M Towing Shift Kit.about 6,000 miles ago. Shifts good and crisp, thru all 4 Gears. The more acceleration the crisper the shift. Builder "Buck's High Performance Transmission Ft. Worth Texas" All Belts, Hoses have been replaced, No Leaks. All the Work and Improvements that have been done to this Car was to Preserve the "Everyday" diving experience, This is NOT a Racecar.But is Very Fast & Very Reliable. The body is very solid you can hear it every time the doors are shut. This Car has been stored inside, And very rarely seen the rain. You Can Pay More For Another Car With Less Miles That Has Been Sitting for 33 Years Just Remember You Are Buying 33 Year OldHoses, Belts, Seals, Shocks, and 1982 Technology.
