In 1949, all the Chevrolets got the first new styling after the war.[5] The Deluxe was the brand new upper-end model for Chevrolet. The cheapest Deluxe was the Deluxe Styleline 6-passenger sedan, costing $1,492.[5] Brakes were 11-inch drums.[7] It had full instrumentation.[7] The front suspension had stabilizers.[7]Many things changed starting in 1950, starting with a luxuriously-appointed hardtop coupe, called the Bel Air. The new Bel Air including upgraded cord and leather-grain vinyl trim (available in a choice of several two-tone schemes), full carpeting and other appointments not available in even the Deluxe series, and a wide range of two-tone paint schemes. The 1950-1952 Bel Airs—during these early years, the Bel Air was officially part of the Deluxe range—shared only their front sheetmetal ahead of the A-pillar with the rest of the range. The windshield, doors, glass, and trunk were common with the Styleline convertible, but the roof, rear quarters and rear windows were unique.The other change was the availability of Powerglide, a two-speed automatic transmission, exclusively in the Deluxe and Bel Air models. It was powered by a 235-cubic inch six-cylinder engine developing 105 horsepower and had a 3.55:1 rear differential; the engine went on to become the "Blue Flame six." It has a Holley intake with Edelbrock 4BBL carburetor. Electronic ignition has been installed. The exhaust manifolds are correct for a 1966 283ci. Please look at the engine photos to see how nice the engine compartment looks. The engine starts and runs excellent with no overheating or messy leaks or drips. Transmission: The transmission is a 4-speed and shifts up and down the gears fine. Exterior: The exterior is exceptional. The paint, chrome and bright work are in very good to excellent condition. All glass is very good to excellent condition. Rims and tires are excellent. Interior: The interior is in very good condition overall. There are no rips or tears in the upholstery. The dash, headliner, sail panels and package tray are all in very nice condition. The carpet is in very good condition and has what appears to be new NOVA floor mats. The door panels are in good condition as well with nicely installed speakers. All seat belts are present. Door locks and windows are in good working order. Rear Axle: The rear axle is a 10-bolt and has no leaking, clunking or funny noises. Undercarriage: The undercarriage is clean and shows to be in very nice overall condition as you will see the photos. The exhaust system is in good condition. Electrical: All exterior lights are in working order to include the headlights, tail lights, running lights, blinkers and the plate light. (The backup lights are not connected.) The speedometer, wipers, horn, cigarette lighter and gauges are all functional. The heater works fine. The interior light works. The AM/FM cassette radio works but because it was drawing off the battery, even when the key was off, I disconnected the wire going to the positive side of the battery which in turn made the radio non-operational. Trunk: The trunk is in very good rust free condition with a spare but no jack assembly. Mechanical: The brakes to include the emergency brake work correctly. The steering is very good with no power steering. The suspension is very good with no issues. Tires and rims are excellent. The Nova starts, shifts and drives down the road great. I have tried very hard through description, photos and video to present this 1966 Nova 400 2-Door Sport Coupe honestly and fairly. While it may merely look slightly modified from outside, open the hood and look under the car and you will find a host of top-of-the-line performance parts and upgrades.  The suspension consists of a Martz front subframe that is equipped with QA1 Coilover shocks, tubular control arms, and a front mounted power rack and pinion unit. The rear suspension consists of an easily adjustable Quadra link system and Fab 9" rear end housing with 31 spline axles, and a True Trac differential with 3.73 gear ratio. The brakes are 12.19" Wilwoods with 4 piston rotors and a Wilwood master with power assist. The handling of the car is many times improved over stock and the car tracks straight out of the hole and handles curvy roads with ease. The brakes are strong and controlled and match up nicely with the rest of the performance components on the car. The car utilizes a DSE mini tub to fit massive 12" wheels under the rear of the car giving it a tough look, and those massive tires really help put the power to the pavement.  The motor is a low mileage, all aluminum LS engine out of a GTO. It makes just over 400 HP and runs off a custom computer. The transmission is a 4l60E and pops off crisp controlled shifts. Keeping the engine cool is a Auto Rad aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. Providing fuel is custom built FI tank with an in tank pump. The engine sits in a pristine, body color compartment that is complete with a smoothed firewall and custom intake tubes. The hood rides on billet hood hinges with hydraulic shocks keeping everything buttery smooth. Turn the key and the motor roars to life. LS motors provide the perfect balance of performance and reliability and this one is no exception. This car can be driven anywhere with ease and there is plenty of power and performance at your beck and call.  The Camaro was a life long rust free car since original delivery and was stripped down to bare metal prior to paint work. It features a base/clear, bright yellow paint job and a semi gloss black on the undercarriage. All of the chrome and trim is new, and really shines.
