I am selling our 2001 Chevrolet Express 1500 Conversion Van w/ handicap side access ramp. It has the reliable VORTECH 5.7L V8 and automatic transmission with ONLY 90,415 MILES!!! The exterior has its normal surface scratches, little dings but overall it is a VERY CLEAN well maintained Conversion Van. There is NO RUST on the van whatsoever !! The Van was just PA INSPECTED where is had a NEW BATTERY, NEW BALL JOINTS, 2 NEW TIRES and BRAKES put on! The interior of the Van is also in GREAT condition with no tares or rips anywhere! It has remote alarm/key less entry (2 keys+2 fobs,) factory in-dash CD/Cassette player, Power seats, mirrors, windows, locks, rear TV entertainment system with lay out couch and it is HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE w/ "The Braun Corporation" wheel chair lift! The lift has 2 sets of controls, modified low mounted door handle, very easy to use and works exactly as it should. You can move ramp from the inside control panel switches or with the hand held remote control. However, I did notice the "unfold" switch on the hand held remote is finicky and sometimes will not work. Don't waste your money on Autocheck, a VIN scan shows 1 owner and 1 minor accident, pretty common here... Ignore eBay's ridiculous shipping calculator, it quotes $598 to Albuquerque NM (216 miles) where I ship trucks on a regular basis for $150. The Story: This van was a recent private trade in, was government owned and fleet maintained before that. I never realized how hard it is to buy a full size AWD van like this until I started searching at the request of one of my clients. I have put over 150 miles on this van, it starts, runs and drives excellent in every way, it is an excellent road trip machine, cruises comfortably at 70mph on the highway, gets great gas mileage and has lots of power. Condition, Options and Drivetrain: The body and paint are about average, is rust free (see photos) under the hood is a great running 5.3L Vortec V8 engine, auto transmission, all wheel drive, the all weather tires are like new and more. The non smoking, tan cloth interior is immaculate, has manual windows and locks, tinted glass, front/rear AC/heat, push button tow package on the dash, AM/FM/CD and everything works as it should. This van needs nothing, is ready for work or play and will not disappoint you. Please note: this van has a push button tow mode button on the dash but does not have a rear receiver hitch and I assume has never towed anything. Though in excellent overall condition, this is a used 10 year old van and as you would expect there are imperfections, scratches, dings, wear, etc. I am being very "nit-picky" on some of this stuff because I value my reputation/feedback. The dark blue paint shows every scratch, there are quite a few, most will buff out but some are deeper (see photos) Some of the paint has suffered sun-UV damage, on the hood, roof and above the passenger side doors (see photos) The rear passenger plastic cover for the jack and tools is missing, am trying to find a replacement (see photos) Please call me with questions or offers.
