I feel like I have described the condition above. However I will say it again. The car is in great shape, both outside and in. It shifts like it should and runs like it should. It's a very fun car to drive. The windows all roll up and down. The vent opens and shuts. The interior clock still functions (wind up). There is little to no rust on the car, even the undercarriage. It usually wins "classic car" at car shows. It does have a battery tender hook up if you wish to leave it in your garage. I believe my father was the second owner of the car. Up for sale is my 1941 chevy special deluxe2 dr hardtop. it is a running driving car that is still running on the 6 volt electrical system. it has at one time been all rewired back to new and everything works except the gas gauge. a 6 volt signal switch has also been wired in. at some point I would recommend doing a 12 volt conversion. I have driven it to many car meets and around town but I would say if you want bright headlights to safely drive at night the 12 volt system would be better.. the car is a 1990s restoration as far as I know and seems to have been kept inside most of its life. no dents or scratches paint is really nice and so is interior.. better than new. I have kept it garaged the entire time I have owned it. I need the room so that is my reason for sale.. really nice driver car you can take to car shows and draw a crowd.. its not a 100 point show car as it has been driven. if interested call 830-743-3158.. The donor vehicle was a rust free truck with all original sheet metal throughout! All of the gauges are rebuilt and working properly as is the AM radio. The truck also has the correct factory GM seat belts, and factory and fully operational climate controls. All suspension, steering and brake components on the truck have been completely rebuilt and highly detailed. The truck uses 2" drop springs on the front and rear to give it a lower and more aggressive stance while maintaining stock driving characteristics. The interior as well as brightwork appear new. This coupe starts up right away and runs well. Driving the car we encountered some handling abnormalities. Our 120 point condition check subsequently revealed a few non lethal concerns. The most significant issues are front wheel bearing play, worn control arm bushings, King pin play.
