Moving out of state and I'm selling my '51. The good: - Rebuilt "splasher" 235 with hardened valve seats - Rebuilt PowerGlide 2-speed automatic transmission - Rebuilt carb - 46K original miles - Nice, wide whites with lots of tread - Fender skirts & sun visor - Glass is good all around - Trim is good - Original interior, nice dash - Everything works including heater, radio, lights, speedo, turn signals, windows, handles, door locks - Original owner's manual and advertising materials from 1951 - Brakes work well, car doesn't run hot - Solid floor boards and trunk (no rust anywhere that I can see) The other: - Repainted original color at some point and it's coming off in spots - Steering has a fair amount of play in it (not scary, but eventually will need attention) - Bumpers are beat up and chrome isn't great on the front or the rear - Eventually will need a new water pump - Passenger side has a slight scrape behind the rear wheel - Fuel gauge doesn't work - Original 6-volt system
