Up for sale is my late uncle's Chevy Impala SS. As far as we know, there are no leaks or rust. It was being driven occasionally before he passed. As the VIN# shows, this a badged SS. It does not have the 283 in it, but rather a 327 Chevy V8 engine. The 1996 Chevy Impala SS, vehicle code "WX3" is a collector car in its on right .....floor shifter , last of the Chevy big rwd sedan. Many people still loved the Chevy Impala so Chevy decided to take the Caprice and basically with some add on items and make the Impala SS from 1994-1996. The vehicle code was "WX3" for Impala SS...not just a plain old Caprice. Many people cloned their Caprice to look like a true Impala SS. Many people do not know that Chevy actually did make the Chevy Caprice SS, which is a Chevy Impala SS badged as a Chevy Caprice SS for markets outside the USA. The name plate above the Radio stated "Caprice SS" and not Impala SS. The side emblems in the back said Caprice SS. The interior was all the same as the Impala SS and the vehicle code for the Chevy Caprice SS is "WX8". Some Caprice SS were badged as " Collector's Edition ", in reference to the 1996 being the last year of production, with a name plate stating that above the radio, on the back side windows and on the back of the car by the taillights...as you can see in the pictures. WX8..... CAPRICE SS "EXPORT" CU7......Country Code "KUWAIT" Export. You can see it on the "SPID", where you can check all the codes from General Motors to see it is a true 1996 CAPRICE SS and not a clone. Car has been sitting for well over a year and badly needs a fresh paint job and tune up. No rips in the interior at all. The 264500 kilometers converts to 164352 miles. 1967 Chevy Impala SS FastbackNumbers Matching 327 This is a beautiful 1967 Impala SS Fastback. Same person owned this car for the last 35 years, i bought the car from him one month ago. This is a true SS car. It has the original 327 engine that was professionally rebuild 6000 miles ago, EVERYTHING NEW INSIDE, with mild cam, 10.5 to 1 pistons, Elderbrock manifold, Holley 750 carb she runs great, No leaks, knocks or smoke from anywhere. Turbo 400 transmission, 12 bolt posi rear end, duel flowmaster exhaust. Has original A/C, Power steering. Interior was redone from white vinyl to black velour, but still in original style. It woes repainted a few years ago at cost of $5000, door seals and window felts were replaced at that time. All windows roll up and down as they should. I am listing this for a friend. His Dad bought this car new as an investment & he passed away a while back & he is dealer. The miles were put on the car moving it in & out of a shop every day. The 2 front tires were replaced due to dry rot. The title does show repo. There has never been any paint or body work of any kind. The car just had the title issued in the last 45 days or so. We are selling a very nice 1966 Impala real SS convertible. This is the Ebay 'deal' of the week. The vin # tells us it is a real SS and was built in California. This car spent most of its life on the west cost. It spent many years in the state of Washington. We purchased it from a retired couple who owned the car for many years and spent many thousands of dollars going thru just about everything on the car. They gave me a pile of receipts. There is a receipt for almost $4,000 for the rebuild of the 327 V8 eng. I have put up pics here of the dyno paper of it showing 350hp. There is only about 2000 miles on the car since all the restoration work was done. New transmission cooler lines, new master brake cylinder, turned break drums, new pads, new radiator and hoses, new water pump, new fuel pump, new Chrome 120amp Alternator. headers. New shocks, springs, wheel seals, stabilizer bar, bushings, brake hoses, and front end alignment. Updated the transmission to a rebuilt Turbo 350, with Hurst floor shifter. The interior was redone to a great custom look as you can see in the pics. A new convertible top was installed a few years back but still looks great, with no rips or tears. New sound system to include a Alpine AM/FM/CD under dash. The dash was not cut and a wood cover was placed to cover the holes were the original radio was. I do have a radio given to me by the last owner, which I believe to be the original. It goes with the sale. New Eclipse speakers installed in door panels, Eclipse 12 inch speakers installed in the box in trunk and JBL 600 watt amplifier in trunk. All professionally done. The car has a new Flaming River Tilt steering column and new wood SS steering wheel. It just goes on and on. Lots more in receipts. Car shows just over 94,000 miles and we believe them to be correct, but we sell everything exempt and over. The federal law says anything this old is exempt and that is what it says on the current title. It now has a clear Pennsylvania title as the retired couple I bought the car from moved from state of Washington to Pennsylvania . The cars paint is base/clear Gun Metal Gray and shows very nice. The chrome is very nice. Nice tires with very nice set of American Racing wheels. Nice solid car both under and body. May have a miner paint chip, scratch, or imperfection,is not perfect, but could easy win trophy at your local show. Runs and drives great. sounds great. Has that little rumble to it. I have driven the car over 100 miles and no problems. Drive it home. Please come or send someone to look at the car. We welcome you to do so. We will put it up on a lift for you if you like. Up for sale is two (2) 1960 Chevy Impala's. Both are four (4) door black hardtops. The 1st one is pretty complete, original v8 engine and auto Trans, has most of its chrome, interior is all there but is rough. The 2nd one is little rougher missing parts and chrome. The original engine and Trans does have fluid in them and the engine will turn over. I purchased these cars with intentions of fixing one and using parts from the other. The better car has a little rust in the bottom of the doors and a spot in the rear floor board but is pretty much solid. We have too much going on and don't think I will ever get around to fixing them up. If you have any questions about the cars or need more pics just holler.
