This is a Chevy Nova I am listing for my boss he is cleaning up the lot wants to sell it quickly. One of those projects he started and never finished we all know how that is. My personal thoughts that it is a good starter car for a street rod or Drag car everything is there just needs love. I got to work on Saturday 9/12/2015 he had it running tearing up the road sounded really good through the headers not to loud but a nice rumble. The Nova can be driven off the lot. The 305 has a mild Roller cam in it backed up with a new HEI Dist./ ACCEL Coil. has a 600 Holley perfect carb for this set up not to big. Turbo 350 Automatic Transmission with a 3500 stall. Fuel cell in the trunk, 16" Rims with good tires off a TA. I walked around a kicked on the panels around the back tires and down low were rust usually takes over no holes or weak spots the body is solid. the carpet is not installed but laying in the back seat not sure about the shape that's in. If you are interested or have any questions please call Mr. Meneely @ 240-997-0386. The VIN number listed is not correct I will get the correct one today and put it in just used it to start the add....thanks for looking

This is a nice old car with a sweet running and sounding 283 stock V8. This car has been in same family since new. It is stock except exhaust system (dual glass packs added) and updated to new electronic distributor. (We have stock distributor). This is not an off-frame restoration, but kept nice and occasionally polished up for car shows and local parades. It does have new upholstery including headliner, some new interior door handles and window cranks. Runs great (best with no ethanol gas); has new windshield and new paint. Everything works including AM radio. This was my wife's sister's first brand new car. She and husband purchased in Colorado Springs. She was cancer victim and we acquired car and drove home from Plano, Texas 18 years ago.

1967 Chevy II has a 350 small block with T350 automatic, stock 10 bolt rear end. The car has a 66 front end with amateur bodywork and paint job. The car has some cool stuff in front end its got rac and pinion steering with tubular control arms, coilover shocks, fender well headers and new gas tank. It has Wilwood front disc brakes with rear drum. The hood is steel cowl it has new front fenders and body it's not showing any outer body rust but it has filler in places mostly in quarter panels where the new quarters where put on in the middle of the panel. The trunk is solid with some rust in floors that where patched from the top and old rust was not cut out. The interior is in fair shape with new headliner and aftermarket front seats. The doors open fine but drivers door handle is not working from the inside just outside. The wheels are 17" slots with good tires. The car will need to be rewired as the old wiring is bad and most things don't work alternator is not hooked up but its got a good battery and does start fine. The car runs and drives and stops but I would consider the car a project its really not safe for the road as it is. It will need some work to be road ready but it's a good start for the right person. I'm open to offers but please be serious its a 67 hard top with some nice stuff not a rusted shell. If you have any questions please call 813-478-3449. The car is a running project and sold as-is with no warranty, buyer pays shipping and full payment is do in 1 week. The car has a clean vin and Kentucky title. The car came from Kentucky and now is in Florida. If you have any questions please feel free to call 813-478-3449.

1967 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova with 283 CI, Holley 600 4 barrel carb, Power Pack heads, Lunati hydraulic lifter cam, TH350 Transmission, 10 bolt rear-end with 3.36 gears new or refreshed in last 800 miles. ALL NEW: Tachometer, Oil Pressure & Water Temperature gauge, billet grill, ceramic coated exhaust manifolds, dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers, and 15" wheels and tires, headliner, front and rear seat covers, Ididit tilt steering column, heater/defroster control, gauge lens, cluster shroud, gauge background, and radio/kick panel speakers, wiring harness, headlight bezels, LED tail lights & lens, tail light housing, front turn signal lens, miscellaneous chrome trim, rear air shocks, rear leaf spring and bushings, aluminum radiator with dual 12" electric fans. I repeat, ALL NEW. Also installed an aftermarket front clip with QA1 shocks, springs, Mustang II steering, and Disc Brakes. Everything works as it should and I am sure I have forgot something that I have done or replaced on this car but I think the pictures tell the story very well. The trunk is the one thing in absolute original condition and is a true indication of the cars overall condition and rust-free history. Absolutely no bondo or rust anywhere on this car. This is a nice straight car with very good paint. The body is straight and the underside is nice with original floor pans and trunk pan. The trim and the bumpers are in very good condition. The windows roll up and down with ease and are all in excellent shape as are the vent windows. This is as nice of a 1967 Nova as you will find anywhere and turns heads everywhere I go. Thanks for looking and call 812-384-5159 with any questions.

1966 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova L79 Designed as a budget commuter car, careful selections on the order form could transform the Nova into a street brawler with few equals. That lightweight body shell was perfect for racers (then and now), and what better compliment to it than a high-revving small block that cranked out well over one horsepower per cubic inch? Of course, that heavy-duty engine meant that you needed a heavy-duty drivetrain to match, which this car carries, and its all matching numbers. Rare? Only 5481 L79s were built, but not all of them were SS models, making this o highly unusual and desirable car. The paint and bodywork is absolutely first rate. Fortunately the guys ho restored this car were absolute pros. This car was bought new in 1966 by Raymond Schwalm in Johnson City, Tennessee. Mr. Schwalm shipped this car out to La Habra, California where he resided. Schwalm raced it a little bit and traded the car in to Don Steves Chevrolet with only 196 miles. A few weeks later the car was purchased by Gregory P. Ostlund as a first car. At the time Gregory was only 15 years old. Greg raced the car and in 1972 the car was put into storage at his parents house in Northern California. in 1974 Greg went through a divorce and the car was forgotten about until it was sold in 1986 at his parents estate with 1,907 miles. The car was all original, but because it sat for all the years the paint was pretty beat up. Being a car from California the car has never had any rust and was always in good shape. In 2003 the third owner decided it was time to freshen up the car by repainting in its original Paint Code R, Regal Red. The color really enhances the sleeper look. Lots of time was spent sanding and buffing the finish to its current show-level appearance, and you won't be disappointed when you see it for the first time. The real hook on this car, however, is the matching-numbers L79 327 living under the hood. As the top small block option for all of Chevrolets cars, this was a high-winding, high-performance, take-no-prisoners engine that took up where the fuelies left off. Making 350 horsepower from 327 cubic inches was an impressive feat in 1966, especially considering that this car uses only a single holley 4-barrel carburetor. Sporting all of its original components and hardware, the engine in this Chevy II has never been out of the car and only has 1,958 original miles. There's a lope to the idle that tells you the cam is healthy, but it is not the kind of thing that will tip off a prospective opponent at a stoplight. The detailing in the engine bay is highly accurate, with satin black fenders and firewall creating the perfect backdrop for the deatiled small block. Up top, there's an original air cleaner, which the factory chrome plated just to show you that you've purchased something special with an L79. Chrome valve covers sport correct 327 decals, and underneath, the original matching-numbers engine has been bathed in correct Chevy Orange paint. You'll also find the original 3245 Holley 4-barrel carburetor, 3893594 aluminum intake, rams horn exhaust manifolds, and accessories. This is truly a car that can be shown at the very highest levels, and it has. The first time shown in 2003 the score won first place at the Chevy Nationals scoring 958/1000. Underneath, its every bit as nice. Satin black floors, original frame, correct exhaust system, highly detailed suspension and brakes, and correct finishes on all the components. The Muncie M21 4-speed is this cars original transmission, and it drives a rugged 12-bolt filled with 3.73 gears, which are perfect for a street car lightweight Chevy II like this which can launch with authority!! Open the door and you see the original red bench seat interior which has never been out of the car. This continues the sleeper appearance as people will think its your mom's grocery-getter. The interior is absolutely original and in perfect shape. The red fabric covering the seats are factory fresh. This is a no thrills car as the only option is power steering, and is a factory ordered lightweight race car. This car is heater and radio delete. The white hurst shifter that is tucked in, right in front of the seat goes through all the gears perfectly. If you’re a fan of sleepers especially factory sleepers like I am, this is a car that should really make you sit up and take notice. It embodies the philosophy of less weight equals more performance, and kudos to GM for taking their hottest small block and making it available in the little Nova. With a concours-grade restoration on this rare car, it could be considered investment-grade. There are others out there, but how many are real Chevy II L79 hardtops with 100% matching numbers? If you want the best of the best, this is probably it. This is a car that will wow the crowds at the next national show, and remains as fun to drive today as it did when it was new. Call now! All work was completed between 1998 and 2000 and driven only to car shows and around town in 14 years and stored inside. The 350 motor and transmission were rebuilt by NHRA record holder Frank Dunbar of Dunbar Engines in Spencer, Wisconsin. 383 stroked and Dyno tested to over 400 hp, bored 30 over, Trick Flow aluminum heads, 400 crank, 4 bolt main, oversized racing aluminum radiator with electric fan, all aluminum and polished pulleys and alternator, MSD electronic ignition, Holley headers to new dual exhaust. I bought this nova in California about 4 years ago. I moved to Savannah, GA about 2 years ago and had it shipped here for about $1200 if I remember correctly. The car was originally dark brown with a tan top. And a bench style front seat. I had the car painted at Maaco here in Savannah and they did a very good job. Door panels, under hood trunk, etc.. I paid $1800.00 for that. This car ABSULUTELY has no rust and it never did. All metal and never been repaired or patched. All original body. In very good condition. The paint job looks very good still because I have kept it under a carport. But if you look very, very close, There are TEENY little spots of white overspray from when I painted my house and wind blew the paint on the car. You will not buff it off. No one notices it until I point it out and they look very closely. The carpet has a little square spot missing under hump where the transmission runs under the car down the middle. It had a floor shifter. I put it back on the column where it was factory. The lady I bought it from said the engine was rebuilt. I believe her, I have put over 5000 miles at least on this car and it runs and shifts perfect. It has a 350 C.I. four bolt main, with a TH 350 transmission (I had to replace the speedometer gear). The rear end is a Camaro oddly enough. The car is extremely fast top end. At 75 mph if you stomp the gas, it kicks in and pushes you back in the seat. But it is very quick off the line as well.I put a new edlebrock carburetor on it since the holley it had on it when I bought it did not have a choke. This car has NO AC. never did. It has vents by your knees where you pull out these knobs and A LOT OF AIR comes in. It is bearable in the summer because of this even here in Savannah.I updraded the big three power cables, ground, alternator, and ... I can't remember where the third wire goes. I did this because I had a 10,000 watt RMS stereo in it for a while. It has excellent speakers in door kick. deck and satellite tweeters. None are blown. I also has a 220 watt alternator installed on it.$400 plus for that I paid. And I will send a brand knew 125 watt all chrome alternator as well as the original 63 watt that came with it.One of the blinker/rear tail light sockets got a breech and was holding water so o replaced that. Also the lamp holders for the rear bulbs are new but they are brittle so I have re-inforcement Mastic tape in two little spots. Holding two bulbs stationary.I drove the car 100 miles Christmas day. The left blinker bulb is out, as well as the overhead light bulb. I am not fixing those.Other than that EVERYTHING on the car works, wipers, new trunk and door gaskets, defrost and heater work excellent, I left a decent stereo in it with a four channel JL audio amp. Trunk looks good. NEVER HAD RUST ANYWHERE ON THIS CAR.I have been a totally honest as I can be with this listing. The reason I am selling it is because I recently purchased a 2002 Land rover and spent Over $9000.00 between lift kit, bumper, wheels rack etc.. I go over board to fix anything up I buy. Silly really. I am OCD perfectionist. Bad combo. The VIN number on this car is 1X27D5W177781 (It came as a nova with a 260 C.I. originally)It has a title number I will give you THIS IS NOT A SALVAGE CAR. But I lost the paper title when I moved. You can get one sent to you by paying. THE ULTIMATE FATHER'S DAY GIFT!! Up for sale today is a 1968 Chevy Nova. This car is all original and uncut with the exception of the panel for the rear seats which has a cutout for a 12" woofer and then there are cutouts on either side for (2) 6X9 speakers. This car was that way when purchased in 1992, I have since then added my own personal sound system which can be found under the fiberglass hood. This Nova has a nasty 427CI professionally built 13:5:1 stroker engine, courtesy of Sam Odom(owner of S&M machine shop Macon,GA & professional drag racer). This balanced and blueprinted engine features: BME aluminum rods, Wiesco pistons, Lunati full roller cam, Lunati roller rockers, race prepped Chevy iron heads with large valves, 1150 Dominator carb, and more! This car has never been raced only tested a few times on the street since built, I honestly couldn't tell you how fast this current setup is. I will say I have had my share of 10 sec street cars and this car will blow the doors off of any street car I have ever driven. It's at worst a mid to low 9 sec machine and that's without nitro which it is more than capable of handling. It's been a while since I looked at my build sheet but the engine was estimated to be 650+ HP. I will provide more details upon request but don't want to disclose to many details, I live in a racers town and if I ever decided to race it at the track I don't want all my secrets leaked!! I will respectfully consider reasonable offers so please send them in and good luck!!Thanks for stopping by.
