Don't let the AutoCheck rating scare you. Yes, I am the 8th or 9th owner of this vehicle, but honestly, so what. It was originally sold/leased out of Massachusetts, from 1997-1999. Then, it went to California, where it spent most of its life, before coming to Michigan. When it arrived in the Motor City, the underbody was coated with Ziebart uunderbody protection, and it shows. There is no visible rust, anywhere. When I first purchased it, I had it professionally detailed, including clay baring the whole vehicle, and shampooing the carpet and cleaning the headliner. I had all the windows tinted 20% (even over the factory tint, in the rear section), except for the windshield. I had some dents removed. And, I even replaced the windshield and windshield trim. Even though the interior was thoroughly cleaned, after I got it home, I was still grossed out that there was 17 years of who knows what imbedded in the fabric of the seats. So, I removed the seats, took them apart, threw all the fabric in the washing machine (twice), installed heated seat kits (because I figured, why not?), reassembled the seats, and reinstalled them. The inside literally smelled like fabric softener for a month, lol. This is an awesome example of a XJ Cherokee that has been well maintained, and with no expense spared to make it the best XJ around. I purchased this XJ with the intention of making it the best daily driver possible and to keep miles off of my other Jeep, a highly modified 2012 AEV Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon. I have spent well over $15,000 in parts (plus the vehicle itself, not including labor) on this Jeep XJ. I am very meticulous and I have spent countless hours working on it, to get it perfect. Obviously perfection is impossible without a frame off restoration, that not being possible since it's a uni-body, lol. It definitely has been built to go off road though, but I wouldn't because, honestly, it's just too nice. When I first drove it the suspension was very worn out although it drove fine. But, I knew that over 17+ years, it needed some help. So, I put on a 1.5" OME suspension, which is known to have the best ride, and changed every single arm, bushing, bracket, etc. from the suspension and steering. It was much better but I still wasn't content. The ride was better but the stance was off, so I installed basically every part that JKS offers for the XJ, including the ACOS, to level off the stance. From there I still wasn't satisfied with the ride, so I changed the brand new OME shocks over to Monroe Sensatrac's. I wanted to keep a somewhat updated stock look, so I chose the 16" Mamba MR1x Wheels (TJ Rubicon Style) wheels with the great riding 245/75/16 (30.5") Goodyear Duratrac All Season Tires. I could've went with up to a 32" tire with the suspension setup I had but I didn't want it to be too tall and look like a lifted Jeep. This XJ has a little bit higher stance the the UP Country version had. Safety and style was also big on my list so I sprung for the JW Speaker 8900 DOT LED Headlights. At over $1,000-1,100 for headlights, these are expensive as heck, but once you see them light up the road with a perfectly focused bright white light pattern, you will understand why and appreciate them, and demand them. I actually have them on my JK as well. I continued the lighting changes but adding clear turn signals, side markers, and red/clear tail lights by Depo. I wasn't satisfied with the look so I removed them and replaced them with smoke turn signals, side markers and Red/Smoked/Clear Tail Lights instead. On a Black Jeep, I thought it looked better. I still have the clear lenses, if you want them with the sale, assuming they are still available as they are currently listed on Craigslist locally. Only reason I have decided to list it is because my wife and I have just signed a purchase agreement on a new home and I'd like to free up some cash for unexpected, home related expenses. I don't need or really want to sell it. If it sells, great - I hope it goes to a new home that will take as good a care of it as I have. If it doesn't sell - oh well, I'll finish up the odds and ends that it needs to make it perfect, and enjoy it forever. It can be seen locally in the West Bloomfield (Oakland County), Michigan area by appointment. You can call me Jeff (during reasonable hours) at (248) Five Three Five - 4 3 3 3. A rare opportunity to own a very tidy example of Honda's kei class car, originally sold in Japan to meet displacement requirements under the vehicle tax codes of the day. Powered by an air-cooled two cylinder 600CC (36CI) engine mated to a four speed manual transmission, this adorably cute car has great pep for the city. Weighing just 1,300LB and measuring 123 inches, the Z600 is the perfect car for having style in the city. Freeway travel is not an issue if you're happy in the right lanes, with the Z having a top speed of about 65MPH. This particular example has been treated to an exacting restoration by the second owner and has been thoroughly gone through to be both mechanically excellent and aesthetically very pleasing. Elite Performance, Northern California's premier Z specialist, decided the engine did not require a full rebuild, instead opting to adjust the valves, breaker points, recap the spark plugs, transmission gaskets, instal a custom shut mounts, axel seals, ignition timing adjustment, all suspension components and running gear replaced and a custom X-formation Flowmaster twin pipe stainless exhaust system. This is consistent with the original owner's claim that the 18,214 mileage is original. Instruments were upgraded to include temperature, volts and oil pressure. All replaced hardware in stainless. Brakes completely gone through with new hardware. Car sits on very nice Minilite mags with under 500 miles on new rubber. The car was completely stripped down and repined inside and out by Sunny Auto Body. This included all chrome and brightwork being reconditioned or replaced and is all in excellent condition. Austin Healey mirror kit included wing and rear view mirrors. Custom front lip. All weather stripping was replaced alone with front and rear windshield gaskets. Interior reupholstery work by Enrique upholstery, complete with headliner, door inserts and carpet and is in brilliant shape. Interior is also in great shape, with the slightest cracking evident in the dash. Everything works when tested. Custom higher end Alpine sound system. Earlier this year, a comparable Z600 coupe passed the Barrett Jackson block selling for $27,500, making this likely the last time a high end Z600 will be affordable or even available.Recent receipts for around $20,000 come with the car, along with manuals, documentation from the restoration, extra parts, etc.Terms and Conditions If you have no feedback please contact me before bidding or your bid will be canceled!! A 10% deposit is required within 3 days of end of auction. If deposit is not received within 3 days sale will be considered void. Balance to be paid within 7 days of end of auction. Z-600 Coupe. Extensive Professional Restoration. 18K Miles* 4 SpeedYear1972MakeHondaModelOtherVIN1014636Mileage18214TransmissionManualEngine2 Cylinder, .6 LExterior ColorWhiteInterior ColorRedTitleClearThis pristine 1972 Honda Z600 coupe is proudly offered for sale at Classic Cars West in Oakland, California. Earlier this year, a comparable Z600 coupe passed the Barrett Jackson block selling for $27,500, making this likely the last time a high end Z600 will be affordable or even available. Recent receipts for around $20,000 come with the car, along with manuals, documentation from the restoration, extra parts, etc. If you have no feedback please contact me before bidding or your bid will be canceled!! Micky traded this car away in 1965 for a 1932 Ford Vicky and regretted it almost immediately. He searched for his original car for many, many years and kept running into dead ends and in 1995 decided to build a replica, located a Touring body and the journey began. The Touring body had the back removed and was painted a Chevy Skymist Blue and pinstriped by Art Himsl. The upholstery was done in white vinyl by Freddy Diaz at Concord Auto Upholstery. The dash was welded and molded in place. Correct vintage gauges installed. Period correct Bell steering wheel connected to a 1956 Ford truck steering box. 1939 Ford pedals. Finally channeled 7" and dropped on a shortened Model A frame. The engine is a 59 AB flathead with Edelbrock heads. Fuel delivery is handled by 4 chromed 97 carburetors (2 dummies) mounted on a very rare Baron Tattlersfield 4x2 aluminum intake manifold. Ignition is handled by a Mallory dual point distributor. Chromed waterpumps, a custom radiator and electric cooling fans keep the temperature in check. The exhaust system is comprised of chromed headers, pipes and Glaspac mufflers. The transmission is a 1939 Ford unit. The front suspension has a rare "Axle" Stewart chromed front axle. The rear is a chromed 1940 Ford unit with 3:78 gears. Rear brakes are 1940 Ford as well. Wheels are 7.50x16 tires on reversed 16" rims on the rear and 5.60x15 on stock style 15" rims on the front. The car was finished in time for the 50th Anniversary Grand National Roadster Show in 1999 and then basically put in storage from 2000-2014. In 2014 Mickey decided it was time to dust off and freshen up the "Moonshiner" for the 2015 indoor show season. The car was mechanically gone through including: new coil, distributor, battery, rebuilt waterpumps and completely rebuilt rear brake system. All fluids were changed and the car received a major detailing to show quality with paint and striping touched up by Brandon Flaner from East Bay Speed and Custom. All of the work paid off when the "Moonshiner" won first place in its class at both the Grand National Roadster show in Pomona and the Sacramento Autorama. Now, with another recreation in the works, Mickey has decided to let the "Moonshiner" go to a new home. This car runs and drives excellent with under 1,000 miles on it and couldn't be built for near the asking price. Currently titled and registered in California. As an added bonus the car was just photographed by professional photographer Tim Sutton and will be a feature vehicle in volume 11, issue 1 of Hop Up magazine due out in April 2015.Photo GalleryAdditional InformationWarrantyThis vehicle is being sold as is, where is with no warranty, expressed written or implied. Autorama Moonshiner Show Car Himsl Built DriverYear1926MakeFordModelModel TVIN111111111Mileage11111TransmissionManualEngine8 Cylinder, 59 AB Flathead LExterior ColorBlueInterior ColorWhiteTitleClearThis incredible Model T is a replica of the Moonshiner shown in the 1959 Oakland Roadster Show and later owned by Mickey Himsl in 1962. As an added bonus the car was just photographed by professional photographer Tim Sutton and will be a feature vehicle in volume 11, issue 1 of Hop Up magazine due out in April 2015.This vehicle is being sold as is, where is with no warranty, expressed written or implied. Based in Saint George, Utah, R.H.R.C. was founded by Steven Ray Anastos after he relocated to Utah from Southern California. Steven has been dealing in high-end Mopar Muscle Cars since 2003 where he did business in California under the name "Steve’s Killer Bees".Having ridden motorcycles his whole life, he decided to expand the business by dealing in Custom Choppers, Harley-Davidson and Indian Motorcycles in addition to his growing Muscle Car and Hot Rod business. The stunning landscape, beautiful weather, open roads and no helmet laws make Utah the perfect place for such a business. After finding the ideal location with tons of visibility, Steven opened a brand new showroom in Saint George and plans on being around a very long time. The showroom is very unique as there is nothing else like it in Southern Utah. The area is starving for a taste of the Hot Rod Kulture and R.H.R.C. plans on getting in on the ground floor. They sell Helmets, Goggles, Sunglasses, Hats, Beanies, Jewelry, DVD’s, Books and Hot Rod Collectibles such as Rat Fink, Von Dutch, Clay Smith and Mooneyes. FORD 'Ralph Ehorn' KUSTOM PICKUP - 2-Time 'Rod & Custom' Cover Show Truck!Year1954MakeFordModelF-100VINF10D4R10609Stock NumberA248Mileage0TransmissionAutomaticEngine8 CylinderExterior ColorOtherInterior ColorWhiteTitleClearFirst off, let me say that this truck is a very special & historically significant classic pickup, period. Nothing excites me more than acquiring a classic car or truck that has a rich history, a story from decades past when Kustom cars & trucks ruled the streets. Opportunities like this rarely arise, and when they do, they disappear as quickly as they appeared. Well just imagine how excited we @ Red Hills Rods and Choppers were to find the original 1954 Ford F100 Ralph Ehorn Kustom Pickup, which appeared on the cover of 'Rod & Custom’ magazine not once, but twice (January 1959 & January 1960)! Mr. Ehorn of Red Bluff Ca., created this one of a kind Kustom truck in the late 50’s, with much of the work being done by Ray’s Custom Shop in Chico, California. The body was smoothed & shaved of its trim handles, the hood was louvered, nosed & peaked and the tailgate was paneled smooth. They lowered the truck by using a dropped axle up front and relocating the spring mounts in the rear. A 1955 Bel Air grille was used with ’54 Buick headlight bezels, along with ’50 Buick taillights, which were molded into the rear fenders (frenched), and a recessed antenna (frenched) was mounted on the rear of the cab on the passenger side. Chrome bumpers, chrome running boards and chrome side exhaust matched the chrome reverse rims w/ ’40 Ford hubcaps, wrapped in wide whitewall tires. It was finished in Candy Apple Red and was dubbed ‘The Candy Truck’. Ralph showed his truck all over the West Coast and won many trophies along the way. In 1958, it won 3rd in Class @ The Oakland Roadster Show and in January, 1959, it made its first appearance on the cover of 'Rod & Custom’ magazine, with pin-up Roberta Calame gracing the pages alongside the truck. Later that year, Ralph restyled the truck, this time installing a ’59 Buick Grille Insert and using Quad Headlights from a tilt-cab fire truck. She was painted Pearl White and was again featured on the cover of 'Rod & Custom’ magazine in January, 1960, exactly a year from the date of its first appearance. A pretty amazing story if you ask me! Ralph continued to travel the West Coast that year, earning trophies at every event he entered. In late 1960, Ralph ended up trading his award-winning Kustom Pickup w/ Bob Tindle for a Thunderbird. Mr. Tindle was quite the Hot Rodder at the time and is remembered mainly for his famous show/drag car, ‘The Orange Crate’, as well as the ‘Stompin Savoy’, which was known as one of the fastest Super Stockers of that era. He also had a successful dealership in the Portland, Oregon area and he & his cronies were known as the ‘Tindle Gang’ when they attended the Oakland & Portland Roadster Shows. After that, the truck bounced around between several owners over the course of 30+ years until it eventually fell off the radar completely. After years of research, Steve Lemke of Washington State, found the truck after it had been sitting for many years, and was in desperate need of a restoration. Rather than restoring the truck himself, Steve sold the truck to Pete & Joanne Rosenberg in 2002, who immediately set out to make contact w/ Ralph Ehorn, whom they found rather easily as he is still in Red Bluff, California. Ralph was very excited to find out that his truck was still intact, and sent Pete & Joanna copies of old photographs and magazine articles from back in the day. After that, the Rosenbergs decided they just had to restore this legendary Kustom Pickup. The complete restoration was done to very high standards, cutting no corners along the way. The body is laser straight all of the way around, with excellent fit & finish throughout, and NO rust issues whatsoever. The PPG ‘Pastel Green’ paint is absolutely beautiful, and has to be seen in person to truly appreciate how gorgeous it really is. Of course, the '59 Buick Grille, Quad Headlights and '50 Buick Taillights are all still present in show quality condition, and the chrome bumpers are brand new. All weatherstripping & window seals are new, including the wing windows. The truck bed features beautiful Oak Wood paneling w/ stainless trim. A white vinyl Tonneau Cover was custom made for the truck, which fits tight & snug like a glove. Pop open the door and slide into the beautiful white tuck & roll bench seat interior w/ the dash & upper door frames painted body color, which looks exceptional. The original & fully functional gauge cluster is still present, as well as a full set of Auto Meter Gauges, which were added to monitor all vital signs. Directly in front of you is the Chrome Tilt-Steering Column w/ a beautiful Impala Steering Wheel painted in the two-tone body color. Open the glove box and you will find the Kenwood AM/FM/CD/iPod Compatible Receiver neatly mounted inside for easy access. There are (4) switches on the dash, (3) for the neon bulbs & strobes mounted under the truck and (1) for the power antenna, which all work beautifully. The interior of this truck is absolutely beautiful, extremely comfortable and very functional. Pull open the tilt-hood and you will find the all FOMOCO drivetrain! Powered by a 351W motor w/ an Edelbrock Performer Aluminum Intake Manifold, Holley 600 cfm Carburetor, Electronic Ignition, Cast-Iron Exhaust Manifolds, Chrome Valve Covers, Chrome Alternator and Taylor 8mm Plug Wires. The 351W motor is linked to a C4 Automatic Transmission which feeds power to the Ford 9” Rear Axle w/ 3.25 gears. She starts, runs and performs beautifully and is an absolute blast to drive! The 351W motor has plenty of power & torque and the C4 Automatic Transmission shifts smooth and crisp like a new truck. This Pickup does really well on the freeway, and the Power Steering & Power Front Disc Brakes make driving around town effortless. A Chrysler Volare front clip was installed during the restoration, which really made a difference in regards to handling & driveability. She still sits on Chrome Reverse Rims, like she did over 50 years ago, with new B.F. Goodrich Wide Whitewall Tires (P215/60R15 on the rear & P205/60R15 up front). After the restoration was completed, Pete & Joanne started showing their truck, winning lots of awards along the way, including ‘Best Of Show’ at the 2009 Billetproof event. She now sits on our showroom floor here in St. George, Utah, and is ready to hit the highway or start winning trophies all over again. Based in Saint George, Utah, R.H.R.C. was founded by Steven Ray Anastos after he relocated to Utah from Southern California. Steven has been dealing in high-end Mopar Muscle Cars since 2003 where he did business in California under the name "Steve’s Killer Bees". Having ridden motorcycles his whole life, he decided to expand the business by dealing in Custom Choppers, Harley-Davidson and Indian Motorcycles in addition to his growing Muscle Car and Hot Rod business. They also market their own line of R.H.R.C. apparel. Much of their business has been and will continue to be internet-based, especially the sale of their high-end Muscle Cars and Hot Rods as many of them are in the six-figure category. They intend to start selling these rare vehicles locally as there seems to be quite a following for Muscle Cars, Hot Rods and Motorcycles in the Southern Utah area. R.H.R.C. holds Car Shows and Special Events monthly at their Saint George location so stop by and see their incredible selection of inventory. If you are not already on their mailing list, please call or email with your contact information and they will keep you informed of any and all events. This auction is a legally binding contract to buy this vehicle.
