The body looks straight and the paint is shiny and bright and looks good overall, but it does show some dings, scratches, etc. The tires area matching set with good tread. There are no cracks in the windshield, but it does show some typical road wear, rock chips, etc. It has the typical scratches/dings/dents/rock chips that you'd expect, that are consistent with age and use on a 1979 convertible, but it still has an overall nice look. Please look over our many pictures and give us a call if you have any questions or would like us to do a walk around. We take over 80 pictures of each vehicle. Interior The interior of this B is in overall good shape. The upholstery looks good overall, but does show some wear and blems. The carpets are in good shape overall, but do show some blems. The headliner has been cleaned and has a good overall look to it. The air blows cold - we ran it for over 30 minutes while taking pictures. It doesn't appear to have been smoked in as there is no odor of such. It has the typical light scuffs, blems, etc. that you'd expect on a used vehicle, but it still has an overall good look to it, and it certainly looks to have been taken care of. Mechanics This 4 cylinder starts right up and idles fine and has good power and acceleration and drives straight down the road. It has a good solid feel to it. Brakes feel good. We’ve inspected and detailed it and it’s ready to drive wherever you need. Comments We don't have sales people on our ebay listings, so we don't have the typical 30% to 40% costs/markup associated with such, and we don't have huge markups, but feel free to call with any reasonable offers. We regularly use a shipping company called Diamond Express Transportation. We have shipped several hundred vehicles with them without a single problem over the last 8 years. This S4 is fully loaded with prestige package which includes 19" sport wheels, heated seats, keyless entry / keyless start, 40GB internal media hard drive, Bang Olufsen premium sound system, auto dimming rear view mirror, memory seats, navigation and much more! It also has Audi Quattro All Wheel Drive system so it is great in the winter! This S4 also has a couple small mods done including h&r lowering springs and minor exhaust work which sounds amazing but is not too loud at all. Windows have not been tinted. The title is salvage due to a minor rear end collision. It does not affect drivability or performance whatsoever. I drove from Denver Colorado to Salt Lake City with absolutely no problems and got around 27mpg highway. Title will be issued as rebuilt / restored once registered. M20 Muncie 4 speed. GU6 / G80 3:42 Positraction rear end Black & White Cloth Interior C60 A/C (works great) D80 Rear spoiler J50 Power Disc Brakes U63 Am Radio (works great) Comes with the original Build sheet and 3 vehicle inspection reports from 1987, 1988 and 1991. Car was owned by a Little old lady by the name of Doris who purchased it new. She didn't like the Z stripes so had them removed. In 1987 the car had 26261 Miles and in 1991 it showed 26700 showing how little it was driven yearly. She stopped driving the car in 1992. Car has sat in her carport covered ever since. INTERIOR Minor problems with interior are... Headliner is starting to come down (I think that it can be saved and wont have to be replaced) Door panels have 3 small screws added at the bottom to hold them flat to the door. 1 plastic loop that holds the shoulder harness belt on 1 seat is broken Dash looks fantastic. Excellent color and detail. Gauge faces are bright, not faded and all lights work as good as they did in 1974. Seat cloth is nothing short of amazing. No rips tears or wear. Carpet is excellent. Buzzer still works when the key is inserted and the reverse lockout is intact and works perfectly. Never smoked in (ashtray looks like new) Weatherstripping is not cracked or dried out. Doors shut beautifully as the hinges are solid and both rollers excellent. BODY There are a few small dings and small dents but nothing major. (please see pictures) Car has 1 spot of rust where a mud flap screw was installed but otherwise she is rust free. (amazing for a Colorado car). Undercoating is mostly all intact with the exception of under the battery area but even that is very solid. Trunk looks fantastic. She still has the original bumper jack and wide oval spare (used) PAINT Paint is a 7+ out of 10 in my opinion. There are some typical chips and scratches that you might find on a car this old but it still looks great as you can see. There is some overspray on the windshield wipers. It is possible that the paint was touched up but I don't think it has ever had a complete repaint. Looking it over I dont believe it has ever been in a serious accident. No obvious signs of bondo or serious work being done. ORGINALITY This is a numbers matching original engine, not a replacement. Some of the parts I can confirm that are original to the car are.. Engine Transmission Rear end Carburetor Alternator Distributor Starter Just to name a few. Car still has the original spiral shocks Posi Tag Original rear drums with the factory CM stickers intact. DRIVE-ABILITY She drives amazing, Like going back in time to 1974. The steering is tight and straight. Shifter is tight. Clutch feels great (no chatter) Motor sound great and pulls nicely without smoke or issues. Choke still works great. Really amazing. I had the AC checked and charged and it blows cold. All functions work on this car including the AM radio. Note that the original gas tank and radiator are not in the car but I have them both. Radiator looks like it only needs 1 neck repaired. I'm not sure why the tank was removed as it is clean inside. There are no dents and it still has the original undercoating. Note, I am not the original owner. (please call me for more info). Title is in the original owners name and is a duplicate (she lost the original). Just put on a set of new tires in the original size. I think this Z28 should be preserved in a Camaro enthusiasts collection. I have many more Photos so please just ask. If upon personal and/or authorized professional inspection of the purchased vehicle at our facility, buyer finds a substantial discrepancy between the published report and actual vehicle, we will correct the problem at no charge, work out a compromise, or refund all monies paid. Any balance of tax due and related title and registration fees are the buyer’s responsibility. There are a couple of states which currently do not allow credit " AR and MS. To avoid paying tax to FL and AR or MS we should make the delivery to you out-of-state by a transporter. We must retain the shipping Bill of Lading as evidence of the out-of-state delivery. Exporting: If you are purchasing a vehicle which will be exported overseas we can only release the vehicle to you via a transporter / shipper as the vehicle may not be operated on Florida roads with a temporary tag unless sales tax has been collected. We request a copy of the export bill of lading or dock receipt for our records and state audit purposes so that we are not held responsible for taxes.
