Being offered at auction by the original owner is this 2003 Dodge Grand Caravan with 57,500 miles. Vantage Mobility International or commonly known as VMI modified this wheelchair handicap accessible van. With this modification you can completely remove both the driver and passenger front seats as the bases are on a locking track. I purchased this vehicle brand new and it has always been garaged and well cared for. There has never been any type of collision work nor has this vehicle been in any type of accident. My background is engineering and I know the importance of proper maintenance and how to properly maintain a vehicle. Oil changes have been done every 3,000 miles. Overall, it is in very good/clean condition washed periodically and waxed yearly with no smoking, pets or kids. This van has been used but not abused as both my wife and I were the only drivers and we avoid jack rabbit starts and stops. .............................. Some of the improvements or modifications I have made are visible in the last several pics. They include the time consuming chore of undercoating all the door seams, prime rusty areas, replacing the back stop light lens and license plate lens with stainless steel screws/bolts, rust removal of the gas tank and coating with a rust primer, top coat and undercoating, instillation of large mud flaps and the recent new complete stainless steel exhaust system. The Yokohama AvidTrz tires are in very good condition. The color is silver....................... Some areas of wear and tear are visible in the pics are: the ramp chain has been repaired with a combination steel cable and chain. When the ramp is opened, the door frame gasket above the ramp has wear/holes in it. After the ramp goes up and the slider door closes, it stops short of completely latching and locking. You need to manually push the door about ½ inch closed to secure it. There is some normal wear such as scratches, nicks and cosmetic minor imperfections................................ There is NO remote control feature for automatically opening and closing the ramp or door locks, no auto kneel feature and there is no overall warranty. There are 3 control push buttons for the ramp that are located on the dashboard, interior doorframe and on the exterior of van above the rear wheel. Included is the original Owners Manual along with an accurate repair and maintenance record of all work performed.
