Normal 0 You are bidding on a super-solid, restomod, 1964 Ford F100 short bed pick-up truck. This ALL Ford Steel body is super clean and solid with that “in the weeds” look and flat mint green paint that’s all the craze now. She has classic looks but is all modern under that body which is sporting a Crown Vic undercarriage with a 4.6 V-8 modular motor, automatic transmission with Overdrive, power rack & pinion, power disc brakes, lowered suspension and 9” Ford rearend. She also retains that stock appearance on the inside with a bit of class from the new interior! She is TURN KEY! Fly in and Drive this one home! This 1964 Ford F100 pick up is being sold by House of Mouse Racing in conjunction with Street Machinery out of Cleveland, Ohio. The Body is ALL Ford steel and is solid as a rock! There’s no rust to speak of anywhere and no major dings or dents. The body is straight and is painted a mint green with a weathered flat look to it. The “Twisted Wrench” is a weathered-looking hand painted design on both sides. The doors and hood work perfectly and the body gaps look great. All of the glass and seals have been replaced. Windows, doors and hood all operate as they should. Doors do lock and unlock. Chrome and brite work are very nice to excellent condition. Interior has been redone in stock styling with some added touches. All the interior upholstery has been changed which includes seats, carpeting door panels headliner etc. All are in great shape even the seat so no signs of wear. Most of the original gauges work and extra gauges are added under the dash. All the lights, directionals, wipers and headlights work An aftermarket stereo has been added for your wife’s or girlfriend’s needs. The Drivetrain is a complete unit from a 2004 Crown Vic. The engine is a 4.6 V8 Modular motor with matching automatic overdrive transmission. She runs GREAT! Plenty of power to fry the tires! She starts right up and purrs nicely with just a slight rumble. The transmission shifts as it should, no slipping or issues. It has been driven to shows hours away with no problems or overheating issues. The Undercarriage is super clean just like the body. Floor pans and frame are original and in great condition. The frame was “C” notched to get it even lower. All the springs and shocks were replaced and with the power rack & pinion this makes one nice-riding truck. The dual exhaust system is comprised of factory exhaust manifolds which connect into new duals that dump in front of the rearend. The 18” wheels are BOSS with 245/45R18 front, 235/55R18 rear. Other info: Windshield is new but is cracked at the lower drivers side corner. Crack does not run up the glass or in field of view. Lower radiator hose is leaking and may need to be tightened or changed. A good portion of this truck was built by a previous owner. This truck is not a fresh build, but is a recent build. It has been driven and enjoyed. She could use a engine and chassis detailing. 1979 Ford 2WD F-100 Short Bed Pickup This is an extremely clean, 36 years young F100 with just over 55,000 miles showing on the odometer. I’m not sure if these are original miles or not (I assume not) but given the condition of the truck it wouldn’t surprise me. No matter what the actual mileage is you’d be hard pressed to find one in nicer condition. Anywhere you drive this truck people will give you a thumbs up or stop and ask you questions about it. It gets more attention than my bright green Challenger! It is finished in a beautiful red paint with contrasting white paint striping. The paint is in great shape all around. The bed is in as nice of shape as the rest of the exterior. It is ready to jump in and drive anywhere today. Here are a few videos (please pardon both the condition of our local roads and the shoddy camera mount): Here is a clip of a startup and quick run up the highway with both the driver and passenger windows down: Get your own valid XHTML YouTube embed code Here is a short clip of some in-town driving with the windows up: Get your own valid XHTML YouTube embed code Here's a video of some in town driving with only the driver's window open: Get your own valid XHTML YouTube embed code Here is a video of the truck idling: Get your own valid XHTML YouTube embed code It is powered by a 400 mated to a C4 transmission. I’ve owned a few trucks with 400s in them in the past and they were all a bit sluggish. Not this one. It moves out nicely and has plenty of torque. It has a Holley 4 barrel carburetor and I wouldn’t be surprised if someone had opened it up at some point and did some work to it - perhaps even adding a mild cam. Listen to it idling in one of the videos and, coupled with the way it performs, you may be inclined to agree. One way or the other this motor is healthy. The transmission shifts smoothly and the truck goes down the road straight and true. I purchased this truck to use as a utility vehicle to support projects around the house and do some light hauling, etc. but quickly found that I didn’t have the heart to be slinging old paint cans into its bed for a trip to the dump. It is simply too nice for that. As a result, I started building it as more of a cruiser. Here’s a partial (I know I will forget something) list of what was done to it over the last year: New American Racing Outlaw wheelsNew Yokohama Avid Touring-S tiresNew plush top-of-the-line black carpetingNew door panelsNew steering wheelNew ceramic coated headersNew side exit exhaust with Cherry Bomb Extreme mufflers and Magnaflow chrome tipsNew chrome grilleNew front bumperProfessionally re-covered original bench in black with red stitching and hand stitched Ford logo in the top centerAll new seat paddingNew chrome emblems including the F100 badges and the Ford lettering across the front of the hoodTune-up including carb tuning and re-jettingOil and fluid changes including coolant flush and fillNew tonneau-style snap down bed cover that is easily removableNew tailgate rod clipsFront end alignment The glass is in good shape all the way around with no chips or cracks and the windows and slider operate flawlessly. The cab corners are solid as is the rest of the body. The only rust is superficial surface rust here and there underneath – nothing up top. The new wheels and tires have less than 300 miles on them. All of the lights work as they should and the truck starts easily. The horn works but isn’t hooked up to the horn button. The exhaust sounds great and has a deep rumble but no droning. I had my local mechanic go over it prior to this listing and he is available to speak with anyone about the truck if you would like. The heater doesn’t blow hot but since I have stored it inside and don’t drive it in the winter I haven’t bothered with it. The bottom line is that this is a turn-key vehicle that you can drive anywhere. I’m willing to prove that by offering to personally drive it to your door anywhere in the contiguous US for $.75/mile round trip. I’ll also work with you if you decide to use a shipper or, of course, if you’d like to pick it up yourself. I have a clear Ohio title in hand. I encourage in-person inspection prior to purchase and will work with you to make that happen. I have done my best to accurately describe the condition of this truck but it is 36 years old and is, as such, being sold as is and where is. All realistic offers will be considered but I am not interested in trades at this time. I’m only getting rid of this truck in because I don’t use it and I’d like to make some room in the garage for my next project. It sold for $12K three years ago and that’s before I made the listed improvements to it. Obviously (at this asking price) I didn’t pay that much for it but I need to at least protect the investment that I have in it. This truck is for sale locally and through a number of listing services so I reserve the right to end the auction early if it sells outside of eBay. Please feel free to email me with any questions that you may have. A $500 non-refundable deposit via PayPal will be required within 24 hours of the close of the auction and the balance in the form of cash in hand at time of delivery.
