1999 Plymouth Prowler - The Plymouth Prowler, later the Chrysler Prowler, is a retro-styled production car manufactured and marketed in 1997 and 1999-2002 by DaimlerChrysler, based on the 1993 concept car of the same  name. The Prowler was offered in a single generation in a front-engine, rear-drive, rear-transmission configuration — with an overall production of 11,700. The design of the Prowler was said to have been inspired after Chrysler  engineers were given free rein to create whatever they wanted in a "hot rod" or "sportster" type vehicle. One of the most striking design features of the Prowler are the open, Indy racer-style front wheels. The Prowler featured a  powertrain from Chrysler's LH-cars, a 24-valve, 3.5 L Chrysler SOHC V6 engine producing 214 hp (160 kW; 217 PS) at 5850 rpm. For the 1999 model year, the engine was replaced with a more powerful, aluminum-block, 253 hp (189 kW; 257 PS)  at 6400 rpm version of the engine. Both engines were coupled to a four-speed Autostick automatic transmission. The transmission was located at the rear of the vehicle and joined to the engine by a torque tube that rotated at engine  speed, an arrangement similar to that used by the C5 Corvette, Porsche 944, and Alfa Romeo 75, and helped to facilitate a desirable 50-50 front-rear weight distribution. The Prowler was the first rear-wheel drive Plymouth since the  1989 Plymouth Gran Fury and would stand as the last Plymouth model with that layout. While criticized for featuring a V6 only, Chrysler's High Output 3.5 had a horsepower rating similar to (or higher than) the company's Magnum V8s  of that era. While not making nearly as much torque as a V8, Prowler's light weight translated into impressive off-the-line acceleration.  Being in the Classic Car Industry allows me to have several interactions each day with collectors and enthusiasts. 1971 Chevy C10 (SWB): The most popular Chevrolet trucks with collectors are those built between 1967 and 1972. Several factors explain the collector popularity of these trucks. First, they're just damn good looking!  To many, the lines of Chevy pickups in this styling series, particularly the 1969-1971 models, are a "classic" expression of what a pickup truck should look like. Second, with this series Chevrolet offered truly carlike interiors,  complete with color-coordinated carpeting on the floor. 1976 Jeep CJ7 - This is a very well known Jeep around Houston where its 3 builders/owners have lived since restoration. For sale is my 1973 Trans Am. It is a true brewster green coded Trans Am. I will include all PHS documentation with the vehicle. The car has a freshly rebuilt Pontiac 455 and turbo 400 transmission. (about 400 miles on the new drivetrain.) The motor is not numbers matching but it is a correct 73 dated 4 bolt main 455 block. Everything is new I completely redid every single part on this vehicle. All mechanical parts are new. Interior is all completely new. The paint was done in 2011 and looks very nice. I absolutely hate to sell this car, but I must to fund a new project. Engine Specs 73' Pontiac 455 block sealed pro pistons h beam forged rods eagle forged crankshaft federal mogul main, rod, and camshaft bearings comp cams XE280h camshaft roller rocker arms 6x-8 heads completely ported and polished with 1 peice stainless ferrea valves 1974 dated (period correct) Rochester Quadrajet built by Cliff Ruggles Edelbrock Performer intake manifold (I do have the original, and I will include it.) hooker headers The distributorhas a kit made by accel that fits into the original distributor that basically converts it to electronic ignition (replaces points) accel ignition Meldon high pressure oil pump This setup should yeild about 400-450 hp at the flywheel, although I never have Dyno tested it. Exterior PPG top of the line base coat and clear was used to paint the car in its original brewster green color. It is the glossiest clear coat I've seen yet. All the glass for the car is brand new and was installed shortly after paint. The window trim could be striaghtened and polished a little better, but is definately good driver quality trim. There is a tiny crack on the roof of the car on the drivers side where the seam of the body meets the roof. Very unnoticeable. I also had to put touch up paint on a scratch on the passenger lower quarter panel from installing new leaf springs. You wouldn't ever notice it if I didn't mention it. ZERO rust!! New decals installed by David at texastransams.com. Everything is in it's correct factory location. The car has brand new Nitto tires wrapped around brand new YearOne 17x9 honeycomb wheels with new center caps. The car was a factory rally wheel car and I do not have the originals. Interior Every peice of the interior has been redone and redyed to match exactly. New correct loop carpet, no cracks in the dash, correct 8000k tachometer, correct 160mph speedo, new headliner, and new front seat covers. The back seat is actually the original material. The interior is 100% factory correct minus the cd player installed in the dash. I also fabricated a bracket to fit 2 three inch speakers concealed in the dash where the single mono speaker would have been. Also brand new 6x9 speakers installed in the rear package tray, and the deck is a brand new Pioneer unit with aux input for ipod/smartphone. Suspension Pro-Touring f-body comp front and back springs were installed. (Gives the car about 1 inch of drop.) Handles much better and gets better traction than the stock springs did. All new bushings, tie rods, ball joints, control arm bushings, leaf shackles, and steering gearbox. Brakes were completely redone. New rotors, calipers, pads, bearings ,and seals on all 4 wheels. Disk front/drum rear. Whats left??? They say your never finished with a car, but this one is really close. It needs a rearview mirror installed. The trunk needs to be finished out. The exhaust tips need to be welded on. I have the correct style Pypes tips to fit on the 2.5 in dual exhaust that was installed, and will include those with the car. The ac is all there and all o rings, seals, compressor have been replaced. It needs hooked up electrically and charged. I even found the impossible to find fast idle soleniod that ramps up the idle speed on the carb when the ac is engaged. The dash is squeaking in the car??? and I'm not real sure why, but It may need some messing with to get it to stop. Other than that, it's pretty much 100%. As you can tell from my description, I truely love this car. I know every part of this car like the back of my hand, and did my very best to describe everything about the car that needs to be stated. It is a fantastic example of Pontiacs finest car. I will accept offers, but I will certainly not give her away.
