I am listing this car for my friend who is almost 80 years old. As you can see from the pictures, he take care of his cars, and maintains them about the best I have ever seen.He has had this car since the early 1990's, and he had it restored in 1993. The car is as clean as you will find a 57 year old Chevy. I never say this, but the pictures do not do this car justice. The car has even been in one magazine a few years ago.I am handling the transaction, and he is setting the price. The car has been garaged since restored, and he drives it around town about 3 days a week, to 7-11 for coffee and then on a 5 to 10 mile round trip around Rancho Cucamonga. This is all the important info:The engine is a 350 V-8, with a 350 transmission. The car has a working, under dash, air conditioning system, the factory power steering, and front non-power disc brakes. All the stainless and chrome are near new condition except the one emblem on the tail gate. It is a little pitted. The only issue I could find with the paint are two tiny spots on the lower left side of the tailgate. They are from when it was painted 22 years ago. Both are no bigger then the size of half of an pencil eraser. You really have to go over the car to even see them. I like to mention anything I see. He hasn't been able to find one. The 1956 California plates were nos when he bought them, and are still very minty. I have blocked out the numbers so people don't "drop" by his house. I sold a car for another friend, and a cop ran the plates and showed up unannounced and scared his wife. The interior is in excellent condition, with two radios. The one in the dash, and a blue tooth stereo with a remote in the back. As you can see from the pictures, the interior doesn't need a thing. The air conditioning works, as does the power steering. The front upper and lower control arms, as well as the ball joints are all new. The bed is coated with Zolatone. There is no rust.The tires are still in good condition, with Chevy rally wheels. The car has a tiny oil leak, one that would be expected for a 57 year old car. It is literally the size of a dime after about three days of driving. If you are a car guy, then you know this is considered normal for this type and age of car. The front window glass has the expected mild scratching from being so old, so it isn't perfect. This is a cod deal only. I will work with a shipper only after cash is in hand. The car needs to be picked up within 3 days of auction's end. Block has fresh rebuild, heads have work done, custom stepper cam, 58mm throttle body, side pipes, 10 bolt rear, 700r4 trans with 4th gear lock out, cobalt gauges, ladder bar suspension, coil overs, rear disc brakes, 3:73 gears, professional harness that was done right. I have a folder of receipts, books, catalogs, and all booklets for everything! I Also have extra go fast stuff that can go with it if the price is right : 4.11 Richmond gears, bigger 24lb injectors, corvette trans servo.. All extra parts where in at one point and the Camino ran 13.2 in the 1/4 mile, but was removed to be more street friendly. I have most of the receipts but there's at least 10k into it. No frame rot, bed is solid, as are the floors, body is very straight! I'm sure I'm forgetting a bunch. Bad: clear coat sucks and is peeling, there's a rust hole in the door jam on driverside and drivers door has bad rust (but I have a replacement door). Good has a small rust hole. Everything still shuts fine. I personally don't like the exhaust setup, and it has some small exhaust leaks, but it works and looks cool. 1966 El Camino For Sale: Up for sale is this beautiful 1966 El Camino with many upgrades, this is a must see and priced to sell. These upgrades include new Butternut yellow paint (base coat clear, acrylic urethane) with just a touch of hand painted pin stripe. Bumpers and all body trim is new; including window trim, door trim, wheel well trim, rocker trim, even the bed trim is new. Bed also has a new cover. The Interior has new front seat, new head liner, Billet Specialties steering wheel, Ididit tilt steering column. Column has all new steering joints. This car also has new 15 inch BFG tires front and back. The suspension and brakes were just completed. All bushings, shocks, tie rods; ball joints and even the idler arm were replaced new. The front brakes were upgraded to disc. This upgrade includes new master cylinder, new vacuum canister and new proportioning valve. Rear brakes are drum style, but were replaced with brake shoes and spring assemblies. Motor is a fresh 454 and new turbo 400 transmission, with shift kit and 2500 rpm stall. Motor was freshened up with new rings and bearings, new Howards hydraulic camshaft and lifters, new timing chain, oil pump, HEI ignition, Edelbrock manifold and carb. Motor has less than 5,000 miles, transmission in almost brand new. Rear end is 10 bolt with 3.08:1 ratio this also has been freshened up with new seals and bearings. It drives well.Any rust issues seem to have been addressed in the restoration and holding up well as there is no rust showing through the paint. For sale here is a super clean 69 El Camino 307 V8 automatic runs and drives but I would go through and service everything before I drove it any distance because it has been sitting in storage since 1975. The car was painted 25 years ago candy apple red but the guy did not like how it turned out so he scuffed it down to repaint it and never got around to it so it just sat in storage all this time. There is all new trim for it still in the packaging in the box, as well as all the other parts to put it back together. I did notice the grill is there but it's in rough shape and should be replaced. The milage on the car is actual! and again it does run and drive but I would not try and take it across country it will need trailered. Clear title in hand. Im selling a 1971 Chevrolet EL Camino in semi restored to orginal condition, It wasnt a frame off resto but did receive new paint, interior, motor, trans and some new trim as well as new bumpers. The car was restored a few years ago at that time the ball joints, brakes and tie rods were gone through. I have over 15k in recipets for the car alone. The brakes as well as the car was just inspected before putting up for sale (have recipets) everything was professionally done. MOTOR & TRANS 350 small block chevy, at rebuild it was kept stock for reliability and was intended to be a daily driver. The motor has good power and fires right up even if it is cold. The trans is a 3 speed automatic and shifts just as it should with no issues. Interior: The interior is in great shape, no rips or tears , headliner, door panels, carpet is all in good shape. Paint and body: The paint and body is in great shape, no dents and as you can see in pics its a very respectable paint job. There is two little cracks in the paint that are on the drivers fender that is in the pics. Brakes and suspension: The car has power brakes that were just inspected and a new master was just installed. The suspension was gone through and put to stock specifications when the restoration was done. It has not been lowered or modified any way. The car is a great driver or show car. Its very reliable and has never let me down. It runs and stops as it should. As you can see in the pics its a solid car, no wiring issues the headlights, brake lights , tail lights, reverse lights, gas gauge , dash lights all work. There is a aftermarket cd player installed with aftermarket speakers behind the seat.
