This car was serviced most of its life by Ron Tonkin Ferrari in Portland, and includes service records. A major engine-out service was done at 33,292 miles, and a new clutch at 31,722 miles. The car runs perfect, clutch is strong and steering is tight. Targa top in very good condition and fits perfect with no leaks. Has newer Continental Extreme tires that are at about 95%. New Battery. Up for sale is this beautiful 1990 Ferrari 348 TS in Rosso Corsa (racing red) with tan leather interior. This Ferrari has 50761 miles and has been maintained and serviced by Norwood of Dallas since I have owned it. I have documents dating prior before I purchased indicating a well kept vehicle being serviced through its life by various Ferrari dealerships. This car comes with original tool kit wrapped it original leather tool pouch. The catalytic converters have been deleted for sound quality but do come with the car. The catalytic converters are a simple bolt in procedure. The Simpson 5 point race harnesses were installed in the car prior to my ownership but original OEM seatbelts and tracks and motors do come with the car. Aftermarket Sony cd player has been installed as well as 6 disk cd changer in the front baggage compartment prior to my ownership. I have owned this car since July, 2010, I purchased from a reputable dealer who had oversaw the timing belt change and valve timing job. I purchased this car with only 47130 miles and since 2010 I have only put 3631 miles on this car, mostly highway and back country driving. Interstate battery installed in 2014 and been maintained with a battery tender. NO 1-4, 5-8 lights on, NO SLOW DOWN light on. Only light that comes on is of coarse the seatbelt light. Front lights pop right up and operate. Air conditioning blows cold for a car over 20 years old. These Ferraris do not have power steering! The power windows do function and do go up and down but not as fast as newer cars, this is to be expected with older Ferraris. Photos included show actual real time condition of car, notice that driver seat on bolster has started to fade from getting in and out of the vehicle. Just performed a full engine out service on my 1991 Ferrari 348ts with Black over Black and manual transmission. The car runs great and has been well taken care of, never smoked in, as well as garage kept. I haven't been driving it as much as I should, due to having other, more versatile vehicles. To most people this is a very nice example. However, interested parties should know that this is not a concours condition vehicle. It has an expected amount of rock chips (with touchup paint) a couple scratches here and there (read not perfect, but really good) and a couple of soft dents as it is 25 year old Ferrari with single stage black paint. The matte black areas do have some scuffs/small cracks and on the underside as well. The interior leather, mostly on the drivers side shows minimal creases and scuffs considering age/mileage. This is a great condition "driver" which you shouldn't feel bad about going out and enjoying. This car was appraised for my asking value, over a year ago, previous to the incline of 348 values. The fresh engine out service and recent clutch job means that the car drives fantastic. Not a single thing wrong with the drivetrain/driveability, just get in and go! The major service is 10K and I had some other maintenance items done at the same time of the big service which included CV boots, coolant hoses, gaskets and other various items which add to the picture this was done at 40,794 miles last month. I have previous records which includes its previous "major" engine out service including regular service items as well as gaskets, cam seals, flywheel and a new clutch all at 37K. In addition to these I have records totaling over $20K+ spent in recent receipts. The vehicle has no accident history, 18" 5-spoke wheels from a 360 (can be left black or silver), as well as the 355 rear taillight conversion to update the look of the car (Includes stock tails, easy to switch back).
