1996 Cadillac Fleetwood BroughamThe King of Broughams - LT1- As NewMatt Garrett - Dallas Texas - 214-878-38231996 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham1996 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham. LT1 5.7 V8. 3X Black. AS NEW. I call this the King of all Broughams and I think you will find it is well deserving of that title. It is loaded with simply everything, and this includes HD V4P/FE2 trailer package and HD suspension, KG9 HD Alternator, GU6 3:42 Gears, KC4 HD Cooling with the massive engine driven fan, Goodyear GA Performance Tires, and ALL the good hardware ever possibly that could be ordered on any police, Impala SS, Roadmaster or Brougham that ever so few ever saw. Then top it off with the VERY RARE factory Astro Roof, all the Brougham options, CD, Security Package, remote entry, Sungate Solar Tinting Windshield, 3X black color, Factory Chrome Wheels, and of course the famous LT1 in the very last year Brougham.... you got the makings of what should be the King of all Broughams! Now none of this means one hill of beans unless the car is brand new with 800 miles......... and that is what this car is..... So yes I will go out on a far limb with this one and say: THIS is the KING of all Broughams! Special Ordered new and put away by a GM Vendor, Window Sticker on car. Delivered new with 300 miles in early 96, 800 miles, as new today. Never outside a garage, never above 90 degrees, never below 50 degrees. Perfect in every manner and representing the best of the best final year as well as any car ever could. 100% original other than GM replacement battery and original battery is saved too. As most people know, this car represents the last year of the full size GM Body on Frame car. A car that is certain never to be built again in light of the higher profit margin unibody cars now made. This is also car that will outlast time. You see so many old cadillacs built on the chassis still going strong 40+ years later and still original. Most of these cars were labeled as old designs, aging platform, low technology, etc. They did not cater to the younger and hipper crowds. Yes, they are old designs, one that dates back 50 years.. BUT looking at the big picture, is anything designed today actually better? I have to say some things are, but putting a new "high tech" car to the test of time, I say no way. It wont make it like one of these. GM has nothing today that will do what this car will other than going into a commercial truck. Because of that, these cars have become strong collectors. Look at it this way..... Tomorrow's cars like Corvettes will be faster and better than the top model they build today. That you can guarantee. Even if its powered by electric power... It will be faster that the one made today! You will never have the best one unless you trade it every year. You will lose HUGE money doing that. Its what the car makers want you to do! Tomorrow's Cadillacs will be better than the models made today too BUT will they be as well made as the body on frame cars made from the 50s-90s? Hard to say, but one thing is certain.... You CANNOT buy a car like this today new and it will probably never be done again.... when it does... it will be well over 100K to do it too as unibody has set the expected profit levels on the manufactures and price points on cars today. Do you think they are going to give you more car for less in the future as they did on these models when they were made???? Right! That is kind of my philosophy as to why these old cadillacs have actually started to achieve an appreciation that is growing as strong as Corvettes, muscle cars, exotics and more. Its simply a car that will never come again. Its the last of the dinosaur, if you want to put it that way. The B and D body cars of this vintage were built here in Arlington Texas and this style ran from 93-96. Things are bigger in Texas and we were proud these cars were build here from 88-96. The Escalade is now built in Arlington. The D body is the Brougham, it is actually a longer car than the B body Caprice/Roadmaster/Impala, thus it has its own chassis, but as a whole 99% the same things using the LT1 Engine, the 4L60 Trans and the large 8.5 Diff. 94-96 have the LT1 power plant and are the ones to have of this body style, 93 carried over the 92 5.7TBI engine. A good motor, but when you have the LT1, that TBI motor is overshadowed. Too bad they did not have the LT1 in the 90-92 cars... You would have probably the best of all there. The LT1 is great and powerful engine that puts these cars in a performance category most people did not know they were actually capable of. It came with a high quality stainless steel dual exhaust system, optional oil cooling systems and many things that were carried from the 9C1 police platform. These items helped extended the service life beyond what any Cadillac past these have done. Time has proven that the iron head motors used in these cars are better than the alloy head corvette LT1s too. Everyone has heard of the Impala SS, a modern collectible that did run pretty good for a large car. The Impala is the same platform also built here in Texas. Well the Brougham, Roadmaster and Caprice can do the same things as the Impala, some properly optioned ones actually better too! Here is another interesting fact..... The Impala SS is considered by many as a very collectible car. So much that if you wanted one brand new today, pick up the phone, pick one of the 3 colors they were made in, and you can get it.... They are out there saved in very high numbers. That is not always a good thing for value as they are so plentiful. Now try that with a Fleetwood........ Then try that with a 3X black Fleetwood Brougham.... The total production # for the Fleetwood was 12,596. The Impala SS was 41,941. Almost 4X! The Fleetwood Brougham was also over $10K more new! This was GM's King car and not a whole lot were saved... and FEW were optioned like this one!As with many of my low mile cars, people always ask "is it for sale" if so "how much". Everything has a price of course and I am realistic when a good offer is presented, but on this one I am going to be rather proud of it for the obvious reasons. To obtain this car, I paid a price that most people would come back and say "right", but it is what it is, I had to own it, it is probably the star car in my collection in terms of rare. Not even my GT500KR, not even my 65 Riv, not even my 60 Eldo are as rare as this car.... They are only new once, and this is it. No excuses, no ands, buts or or's. It will be a price that will certainly make any interested party think twice as to ever put this car on a road. It was bought as a collector, and that it will remain on my watch. I always hate to make random claims on any car, but as a whole package, this is certainly the finest and lowest mile last year brougham on the planet. Finding another like this is probably not possible, especially one that was bought new and saved specifically as a collector car.... but I have been known to be wrong too. I always love to be proven wrong with the surface of an even better example!Car is on ebay as I was offered a listing promotion. This is only to reach like collectors for trades and common interest. If you would like to contact me with one that is as nice or you think is "just like this", I am a buyer ready to go on top rare 3rd gen cars. Will even pay you a bone if you find me a museum level car I buy. I am a collector that will trade in and out of museum level cars like this when the opportunity presents itself and this ad is the vehicle to reach out. If you have an interesting trade... that is like this car in condition... I will be glad to consider just for a change of scenery too. I also have brand new museum level rare examples too. 1996 Chevrolet Impala SS (Super Sport) Like New 16,924 Mile car - One Owner thru Early 2014 Menacing Black with Under Hood Performance and Dress-Up Mods New Nitto 20 Inch Radials w/ Budnik Chrome Wheels, Totally Clean CARFAX ___________________________________ NOTE: Our listings are rather lengthy. They not only describe this particular car but also some history of the make/model, considerations in buying a classic car and facts about our firm. However, we continually hear from out of state / out of country buyers (many of our clients) that they prefer the level of detail that we provide. However, if you are not prepared to read the full listing, please read the OVERVIEW below along with the PHOTOGRAPHS at the bottom. If you'd prefer, please call us at 925-846-1451 and we'll gladly discuss the Impala and answer any questions over the telephone, including our "Buy it Now" policy. Yes, the Impala can be purchased prior to the end of the eBay auction. PHOTOGRAPHS PLEASE NOTE: EACH TIME WE LIST A VEHICLE ON EBAY WE RECIEVE COMMENTS THAT THERE ARE NO PHOTOS OF THE INTERIOR, ENGINE, UNDERCARRIAGE, ETC. OF THE CAR. THERE ARE CLOSE TO 100 PHOTOS OF ALL AREAS OF THIS IMPALA, BUT WHEN YOU REACH WHAT APPEARS TO BE THE LAST PHOTO, YOU WILL NEED TO SCROLL DOWN ON eBay TO VIEW THE REMAINING PHOTOS. IF YOU ARE STILL UNABLE TO SEE THEM, PLEASE CALL US AT 925-846-1451 AND WE WILL PROVIDE A DIRECT LINK. NOTE: IT IS A VIOLATION OF EBAY POLICY FOR US TO LIST THE URL ON THE EBAY LISTING. PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU WOULD LIKE ADDITIONAL PHOTOS OF ANY PART OF THE IMPALA. ALL OF OUR PHOTOS ARE TAKEN IN NATURAL LIGHT AND WE DO NOT "PHOTO-SHOP" OR TOUCH-UP THE PHOTOS IN ANY WAY. INTRODUCTION The "madness" is underway in the various auction venues around the country. We often times see a wide range of collectible cars / special interest cars sell for inflated amounts in the "heat of the moment." This car is offered at a realistic price and, unlike bidding on cars in an auction environment, you will have the benefit of extensive information & history on the car prior to making a buying decision. Equally as important is the fact that Classic Cars Ltd. has been in business for 20+ years and enjoys an excellent national / international relationship with nearly 800 positive eBay feedback responses. Please keep in mind that we will gladly... 1. Answer any questions over the telephone and take the time to guide prospective customers through the buying process (925-846-1451). 2. Assist with locating a quality, suitable transporter at very competitive prices. 3. Provide proof that we are licensed, bonded (for the financial transaction), fully insured, and operate from an established showroom environment. 4. Provide feedback from previous buyers, and specific references for vehicle purchases in your area (we also ask that you view our detailed eBay feedback by clicking on the number to the right of the eBay user name) 5. Offer additional information including specific photographs or clarification of any part of our description of the vehicle Thank you again, please let me know if I can be of assistance. Happy "eBaying"! Paul R. Wankle, Pres. Classic Cars Ltd. Pleasanton, CA 925-846-1451 OVERVIEW-THIS PARTICULAR 1996 CHEVROLET IMPALA SS The 1996 Impala Super Sport was special when new and has become even more desirable to collectors with the passage of time. It was the last rear wheel drive, body-on-frame sedan built by GM. Add the Corvette inspired LT1 V8 engine, sport-tuned suspension and distinctive monochromatic paint and you have a truly menacing full sized muscle sedan. The handling belies its size and comfort. The 1996 Impala SS included new model changes that make it most desirable year; an analog tachometer and speedometer plus moving the shifter from the column to the console. This car has only 16,924 miles and one owner until early 2014, making it appear and perform as if new. Major features include; - 5.7 L LT1 V8 with fuel injection - 4 speed 4L60E automatic transmission - Hooker Super Competition CARB-certified headers - Catback exhaust w/ stainless steel mufflers - Chrome after-market air intake system - Faux carbon fiber valve covers and fuel rail covers - Hypertech Power Programmer III custom engine tuner - New Nitto 20 inch radial tires with Budwik chrome 5 spoke rims - Sport-tuned suspension w/ upgrades (see details below) - 4 wheel disc brakes w/ ABS - Power steering, power brakes, power windows, power locks, power seats - Tilt steering wheel, air conditioning, cruise control - AM/FM/CD stereo - Beautiful black paint with factory blacked-out grille and badging - Supple gray leather seats - Huge trunk w/ unused spare & tools - Owner's manual and huge 4-volume parts manual - Indoor car cover - Stock wheels/tires, exhaust manifolds, valve/fuel rail covers included DETAILS-THIS PARTICULAR 1996 CHEVROLET IMPALA SS This 1996 Impala SS, VIN 1G1BL52P1TR173106, was delivered new in March 1996. It sold later that year to a gentleman who owned it for 17 ½ years and drove it less than 17,000 miles in that time. In fact, it has been driven only 2000 miles in the past 7 ½ years. It has been carefully maintained and tastefully modified to enhance both the performance and the appearance, particularly under the hood. MECHANICAL The stock engine has been dressed up improving both the intake and exhaust systems. Further, a Hypertech Power Programmer III custom engine tuner ($500) has been purchased to both increase horsepower and torque, if desired, plus correct the speedometer/odometer for the 20 inch wheels. - 5.7 L (350 cu. In.) LT1 V8 engine with fuel injection, 260 hp, 330 lb-ft torque - Hooker Super Competition P/N 2063 exhaust headers, CARB certified ($660) - Faux carbon fiber valve covers and fuel rail covers w/ Impala logo - Chrome after-market air intake system - Chrome cross-bracing in engine compartment - New AC Delco battery - 4-speed 4L60E automatic transmission - Sport-tuned suspension - Suspension upgraded with progressive Eibach springs, high quality shock absorbers, and front and rear anti-sway bars - 4 wheel disc brakes w/ ABS, like new pad thickness - Stainless steel brake lines - Power steering, power brakes - Upgraded replacement drive shaft - New Nitto Invo 295/35ZR20 tires on new chrome 5 spoke Budnik wheels - Catback exhaust with stainless steel mufflers to reduce back pressure - Original stock wheels/tires, exhaust manifolds, valve/fuel rail covers included SAFETY AND SECURITY - Factory seat belts - Driver and passenger air bags - Power door locks with two fobs - Anti-lock braking system - Factory security system EXTERIOR The black exterior of this car was the most popular color (19,085 units) and it looks spectacular, offering an appropriate dose of menace to this full-sized muscle sedan. This is emphasized by the factory blacked out grille and badging. - Beautiful black factory finish in excellent condition - Excellent glass all around - Front air dam (chin spoiler) in good condition - No accidents or panel replacements (clean CARFAX) - Excellent factory body gaps INTERIOR The seats are gray leather, the only color offered in the SS. The rear seats appear as new, obviously only seldom used if ever. The front seats are still smooth, supple and show no significant signs of wear. All carpet is excellent, free from damage and stains and protected by factory mats. The headliner is as new. - Power windows, power door locks, power mirrors - Power bucket seats with console, console shifter - Tilt steering wheel - Cruise control - Air conditioning - Analog speedometer and tachometer - Factory AM/FM/CD Stereo - Rear window defogger - Cargo net in trunk - Huge trunk capacity - Original, never used spare tire in trunk COSMETIC CONDITION Those who bought these cars were buying a piece of history and therefore, they pampered them. This car is immaculately clean inside, outside, under the hood, under the chassis and in the trunk. The underside is particularly impressive showing no signs of use in inclement weather. It looks every bit the ultra low 16,924 mile car that it is. This Impala SS is as close to having a "new" 18 year old car as it gets. TESTIMONIALS (from owners of the 1996 Impala SS on Edmunds) GM got it right -"I have seven cars but driving the SS is somehow very satisfying. It lopes along, big, black, bad, and then, when called on, just puts you into the comfy seats and gets to really outrageous speeds in a blink. I'm sure that more modern vehicles beat the numbers on acceleration, etc, but blasting around a freeway on ramp in a couple of heart beats with this beast is extremely fun!" Stealth 4-door Vette-"I am an enthusiast and love to drive. I did not really need to order a new SS, but I wanted a toy that would be a fun investment. My SS delivered, yeah it was politically correct with lighter & ashtrays; room and comfort for both my wife & grandmother in the same trip. I only need to pull it out of the garage to turn heads and there is always someone asking me to be 1st bidder when I sell." Still purring-"Have enjoyed owning & driving it for nearly 13 years, transmission & engine have been flawless, still turns heads. I am very proud to own such fine machinery that gets rarer yearly, get offers to sell all the time, have driven across country north-south & east-west, makes for great made-in-America advertising, Passes state emissions/safety tests without fail, plan on keeping all the way." OTHER - Current California registration (license 7ENJ044) and clear California title - Recently passed CA smog testing - Passed the California required safety inspection for working wipers, turn signals, lights, brakes, tires, etc. - All original owner's manuals included - 2 key fobs - Average annual mileage only 950 miles - Driven only 2000 miles in the past 7+ years - Clean CARFAX; no accidents - One owner for first 17+ years - Indoor car cover - Full 4 volume set of "91-96B Parts & Illustrations Catalog" SPECIFICATIONS OF THE 1996 CHEVROLET IMPALA SS - Seventh generation Impala SS - Produced February 14, 1994 to December 13, 1996 in Arlington, TX - 1996 production 41,941 units - B-body platform - 5.7 L (350 cu. In.) V8 engine w/ 260 hp and 330 lb-ft torque - 4-speed 4L60E automatic transmission - Wheelbase 115.9 inches - Length 214.1 inches - Width 77 inches - Height 54.7 inches - Curb weight 4,036 lb. HISTORY OF THE 1994-1996 CHEVROLET IMPALA SS In 1991, the GM B platform was extensively redesigned. The Impala SS badge was resurrected at the 1992 Detroit Auto Show as a concept car designed by GM designer Jon Moss. The concept car was two inches lower to the ground than the regular Caprice, and was powered by a 8.2-liter (500 cu in) engine. Eventually, the concept car's engine was replaced with a 5.7-liter (350 cu in) engine derived from the Corvette in order to show the public what would be offered if put into production. The 1994 Impala SS went into production on February 14, 1994 at GM's plant in Arlington, Texas, and was almost identical cosmetically to the concept car, the only noticeable change being the chromed bowtie logo on the grill. The car was, in essence, a high-performance version of the Caprice. From a mechanical standpoint, it used the Caprice 9C1 police package as its base and as such got most of the equipment formerly available only to law enforcement and government agencies. This included a sport-tuned suspension with reinforced shocks and springs, a high-capacity reverse flow cooling system (derived from the Corvette's LT1), larger four-wheel disc brakes, transmission cooler, dual exhaust, a higher-output electrical system, and other minor mechanical alterations. The Impala SS was uniquely fitted with a standard 3.08 gear. The limited-slip rear differential was standard and the suspension was an inch lower than a Caprice. A retuned LT1 5.7-liter (350 cu in) small-block V8 was standard on the Impala SS, making 260 horsepower and 330 pound-feet of torque. The primary difference between the LT1 in the Impala and the LT1 that was in the Corvette and Camaro was that the Impala engine was fitted with cast-iron cylinder heads instead of aluminum ones, and a camshaft that was designed more for low-end torque than high-end horsepower. Another difference was that the Impala LT1 had 2-bolt main bearing caps while the Corvette LT1 had 4-bolt main bearing caps. The transmission used in the car was the 4L60E, which was an electronically controlled version of the previously hydraulically controlled 4L60. A manual transmission was never available in the 1994-1996 Impala SS. Several other cars in the B/D-body line also shared a similar powertrain: these were the Chevrolet Caprice, Buick Roadmaster, and the [D-body] Cadillac Fleetwood which all shared the LT1 engine and 4L60E automatic transmission. Cosmetically, the Impala SS received body-colored trim, a unique single-bar grille with no hood ornament and, a rear deck spoiler. It was fitted with 17-inch brushed aluminum wheels with 255/50ZR17 all-season Z-rated tires. Inside, the car came with a central console with cup holders (1994 and 1995 models) and a storage compartment, leather seats embroidered with the Impala SS logo, and a standard leather-wrapped steering wheel. For the 1994 model year, it was available only in black with a gray interior. Due to a shortage of the unique five-spoke aluminum wheels, only 6,303 cars were sold. However, the wheel shortage was remedied for the 1995 model year and 21,434 cars were sold. In 1995, Dark Cherry Metallic and Dark Grey Green were added as exterior color options, and the body paneling on the rear quarter panel was altered to reflect the cosmetic effect formerly achieved by a window insert. Another change from 1994 was the placement of the side mirrors from pods attached to the door to a larger format attached to the 'A' pillar. 1996 was the last year of production with 41,941 units sold. The 1996 Impala SS production went late into the model year; the last one being produced on December 13, 1996. It saw minor interior alterations, with the digital speedometer being replaced by an analog one, along with a tachometer. The shifter was moved from the column to the center console, and the engine was given an OBD-II computer control system (the camshaft was reground to adjust for the new computer). Special Ceremony A special ceremony was held at the plant on December 13, 1996 for M.G. "Pinky" Randall, a Chevrolet collector from Houghton Lake, Mich., who bought the last Impala SS. When Randall drove the car with the dark cherry-metallic paint off the line, he was accompanied by County Judge Tom Vandergriff in the front passenger seat. In the back seat were Mayor Richard Greene, plant manager Herb Stone and Lonnie Morgan, president of United Auto Workers Local 276, which represents about 1,900 of the plant's 2,100 employees. "I didn't think this last car would get publicity like this," said Randall, 69. The Impala becomes the 46th vehicle in Randall's Chevrolet collection. Discontinuation The entire B-body line, consisting of the Chevrolet Caprice, Impala SS, and Buick Roadmaster, was discontinued by General Motors, as GM wanted more assembly lines to be able to produce more profitable SUVs. Another fact was that the Caprice was the only B-body with a market share since fleet sales to law enforcement outnumbered sales of all other B-bodies. PURCHASING A COLLECTOR VEHICLE - THINGS TO CONSIDER As always, we recommend that you carefully review the seller's background for any collector car being sold over the Internet. It is important to ask yourself a number of questions including, but not limited to: - How long have they been in business? - How much experience do they have with collector cars? - How many positive collector car vehicle sales have they completed (positive eBay feedback)? - How detailed/complete is the description of the vehicle? - Do the photos show details of the interior, exterior, top, chrome, etc. or are they simply "glamour shots" taken from a distance? - Does the seller have a Surety Bond to protect the financial transaction? - What about insurance, licensing by the state, and a local business license? - Does the seller (if a business) have any DMV (Motor Vehicle) complaints and/or other history of legal action, grievances? - Does the seller enjoy a favorable local and national/international reputation? - Can the seller assist with funding sources, transport and out of state/country sales? ABOUT CLASSIC CARS LTD. - Classic Cars Ltd. has been in the same, small, California town for over 20 years. We operate a small "brick & mortar", indoor showroom, and specialize in the sale, consignment, and purchase of sports, high performance and specialty vehicles of all types. We have a particular interest in sports cars and unique vehicles. - The majority of our vehicles come from local, private owners and collectors, and many were sold new in California. We appreciate that rust free cars, with excellent documentation and history are especially attractive to our buyers both locally, and around the country. As a result, we do not purchase our collectible cars from "distressed" sales, such as wholesale auctions, salvage sales, or lien sales. We do not sell vehicles with salvage titles, or those that have a history of significant accident damage or repair. We have sold hundreds of unique, classic and collectible vehicles and regularly deal with buyers that have not had the experience of purchasing a large (both physically, and monetarily) item on eBay, or through an Internet source. Our eBay feedback is 100% positive on all vehicle sales from customers around the globe and is a reflection of our commitment to accurate, complete, and thorough vehicle descriptions. - We have been shipping vehicles for years and have established excellent contacts that are not only high quality but very price competitive. We do not use brokers, terminal shipping or other discount methods. Call us or email for a quote directly to your home or office. We are often able to obtain quality enclosed transportation (the kind of travel this car deserves) for the cost of open shipping. - Please review our feedback on eBay (user name Never22Many) representing over 780 positive transactions to buyers all over the United States / World. - We are fully insured, bonded, and licensed for collector car sales all over the United States/World. - Classic Cars Ltd. carries a $50,000 Surety bond to cover financial transactions - We frequently sell vehicles to out of State / out of country buyers, and will be glad to provide references for buyers in your area. MISCELLANEOUS GENERAL INFORMATION - As with virtually all collector/specialty vehicles, we find that parts and resources are readily available for this (and most every vehicle), thanks in large part to the Internet. - In addition to the purchase price of the vehicle, California buyers will be subject to sales tax, a documentation fee, DMV transfer fees and license/registration. Out-of-state buyers will be responsible for the purchase price of the vehicle and any local taxes/fees will be the purchaser's responsibility to pay in their respective state. IMPORTANT NOTE: If the vehicle is delivered or driven in California and driven on California roads, sales-tax, license/registration and transfer fees will be assessed per California law. - While we encourage telephone calls to discuss this vehicle in greater detail we will not respond to inquiries asking "What is the reserve". Also, if you would prefer that we call you to answer any questions about the vehicle, shipping alternatives, etc. please e-mail us with your telephone number and will gladly get back in touch with you. - We encourage inspections of this Impala by serious, qualified individuals or professional inspectors. Please call at 925-846-1451 to arrange a convenient time. - As with any collectible vehicle of this vintage we are unable to provide a warranty or guarantee of condition. However, we make every effort to accurately represent our vehicles, and highlight both positive items as well as areas that require attention. We ask that prospective buyers consider our eBay history/feedback, standing in the community, length of time in business, and other factors when purchasing a collectible vehicle from Classic Cars Ltd. - Minor cosmetic issues/flaws may be present on every vehicle (regardless of cost) including small chips, nicks, scratches, etc. that can be seen on even the best restoration, or even a relatively new, used "pre-owned" vehicle. Also, ownership of a collectible / specialty vehicle is more enjoyable if the owner is familiar with the "realities" of these unique cars. Unlike more modern day vehicles, these cars require regular, ongoing care/maintenance and some mechanical knowledge, patience, and understanding can make the experience considerably more pleasant. That said, collector / "specialty" car owners will tell you (emphatically) that they love their cars and wouldn't trade them for anything!! - The information contained in this description is believed to be accurate but, in some instances, has been provided by the car's owner / owners or outside sources. As a result, we are unable to guarantee the accuracy of the information. We encourage verification of "numbers" and significant data prior to the purchase of any collector vehicle that you are considering. The charge will apply if the vehicle is purchased through ebay or before or after the auction, directly through Classic Cars Ltd. The vehicle is listed for sale elsewhere. We reserve the right to end the auction at anytime. We will be glad to discuss details of a "pre-auction" purchase (925) 846 1451. Inspections of vehicles are encouraged but (by appointment only) must be completed within 24 hours of the end of the auction. Out of state buyers are responsible for the high bid and any shipping costs. California buyers are subject to the appropriate sales tax, DMV transfer, and fees associated with the purchase of any used vehicle sale in the state of California. To avoid shipping the title with the car to our out of state buyers, we mail the title via Priority Mail. While shipping and transportation costs (if appropriate) are the responsibility of the winning bidder, we can assist with locating a suitable transporter. We regularly ship cars all over the USA/World, and can often times locate very competitive rates for transporting vehicles door to door, to a local terminal, enclosed, open, etc. Please call us for specific information/rates to your location. We meet some great people and fellow enthusiasts, and only rarely do we have problems with non-paying bidders. Please be certain that you are prepared to buy the car if you bid, or call us at 925-846-1451 before the end of the auction if we can answer any questions. If you have a "sunglass" rating or fewer than 10 feedback ratings on eBay, please call us before you bid so that we can discuss the bidding process, etc. If we do not hear from you, we reserve the right to delete your bid. Thank You & Happy Bidding Classic Cars Ltd.
