It's obvious someone spent a pile of cash (over $100k) getting this custom 1937 Ford roadster professionally built into a show-stopping creation. Now it's being sold after only being broken-in. That means you get to save thousands on the new custom of your dreams. Everyone sees you coming in this bold creation. It retains the slick Art-Deco look of the original style, but now sporting a serious attitude that flaunts its high-end appearance. The two-tone Harley-Davidson Sedona Orange and Mocha Metallic looks amazing even from miles away, but it only gets better when you get up close to see the subtle pinstriping. All of this is courtesy of Craig Hartless at Ace of Customs. The colors against the super-slick Oze body will make everyone want to touch your hot rod to make sure it isn't still wet. This great paint even applies to the removable hard top. And just like any good custom built, it has all the right touches to impress. You see this in places like the mirror polished grille, taillight silts built into the fender line, frenched-in license plate panel, side-opening hood, and suicide doors with shaved door handles (you pop them open from your fob.) Of course, it wouldn't be a hot rod without an aggressive stance thanks to the large staggered Foose Legend Chrome wheels. The large investment continues inside, where a gorgeous tan Italian leather interior delivers show-stopping looks. Heavily bolstered buckets feature modern all-day comfort. The door panels have been sculpted to flow right into the dash for a custom swooping appearance. The driver gets a three-spoke steering wheel that is so intricate that it's the focal point of the whole interior. Beyond that is a full set of Dolphin gauges that look perfect in your retro ride. As with any good custom build, there are plenty of modern conveniences for you and your passenger. This includes power windows, power locks, cup holders, and climate control. Plus, there's a touchscreen in the middle of the center console that provides the interface for the satellite navigation, backup camera, and AM/FM/CD/DVD/XM stereo with iPod hookup. The whole point of this car is to look stunning, but like any good enthusiast build, this one was created to be fun to drive too. The freshly built 350 cubic inch small-block V8 has less than 200 miles on it, and it features, headers, an electric fan, new radiator, and a four-barrel carburetor. Of course what people are really going to notice about the powerplant is its show-stopping appearance with all that chrome and polished aluminum in the engine bay. Also, the Flowmaster dual exhaust will make everyone takes notice with its rumble. But beyond all this is a roadster you'll love to take out for long Sunday drives. That starts with a four-speed automatic transmission that features a highway-friendly overdrive. This one also features a full coil-over suspension, power rack-and-pinion steering, and Wilwood ABS disk brakes at all four wheels backed up by modern Falken Azenis tires. We know you've drooled over the pro-built rods in magazines, and now here's your chance to put one in your garage for a fraction of the build cost, and a lot less than many others out their. Beneath its crowd gathering body, you'll find a reliable 350 cubic inch V8, a stalwart automatic transmission, a sophisticated aftermarket suspension and a whole lot of other top notch hardware. If you're a hardcore street rod fan who's been looking for the perfect custom to show off at the next cruise night, AND enjoy on the open road, you're search is over! At the front of this slick '37 Ford, a painted and stainless-trimmed grille sits between a pristine chrome bumper, and two sculpted headlights which incorporate hidden turn signal bulbs above traditional halogen filaments. Behind that grille, a rear-hinged hood meets lightly smoked glass that's cleared by bright stainless wipers, sealed by fresh black weatherstripping and capped by color-keyed drip rails. Below that hood, chrome-trimmed air extractors lead the eye to traditional steel doors that are fitted with old school claw hinges, classic chrome mirrors and correct, streamlined door handles. And at the back of the car, correct chrome trunk hinges ride above traditional blue dot tail lights, a second pristine chrome bumper, and a correct chrome trunk handle. Open the doors of this killer classic and you'll find a tasteful custom interior that combines the car's spectacular blue paint with acres of supple leather upholstery. In the middle of the cockpit firm and modern seats are supportive, feel soft enough to take a nap on, and feature clean chrome piping. At the sides of those seats, custom door panels hang slick color-keyed inserts behind correct chrome handles, curved leather armrests and attractive stainless accents. Below those seats, fade-free carpet complements fully integrated speakers and custom chrome foot pedals. In front of those seats, a stylish and simplistic dash hangs attractive Classic Instruments gauges next to polished accessory knobs, finished air conditioning vents and prerequisite custom pinstriping. And above those seats, a custom fur headliner is stretched tightly around a small Sony head unit. Behind the cockpit, a color-keyed trunk hides a Sony 6-disc CD changer, a Kicker amplifier and a Kicker subwoofer behind enough luggage space for a fun weekend adventure. Lift the glossy silver hood and you'll find a tough 350 cubic inch Chevrolet V8 that's every bit as smooth as it is reliable. Top dead center, a ball-milled air cleaner leads to a chrome Holley 4-barrel carburetor that's outfitted with polished stainless fuel lines and a fully-functioning electric choke. From there the mixture enters a Winter intake which feeds eight sequentially fired cylinders that are sparked via fresh Ron Francis wiring, an MSD Blaster SS coil, a high quality MSD distributor, and loomed Taylor plug wires. Every one of its surfaces is finished in the same vivid blue paint as the car's exterior panels, allowing the thoroughly detailed motor to create plenty of trophy winning contrast. Behind this sedan's fully detailed small block you'll find a fully rebuilt GM Turbo-Hydramatic 350 3-speed automatic that spins a stalwart Ford nine inch rear end that's bolted into a Total Cost Involved Mustang II front and traditional leaf rear suspension. Power flows through an attractive set of polished Billet Specialties wheels which spin 195/60R15 Goodyear Eagle RS-As in front of 235/65R17 Goodyear Eagle RS-As. As cool as it is classic, this '37 Ford street rod is a vision in both showmanship and usability. You really can't ask for a more impressive custom car, and you certainly can't build one this cool for anything near our list price. How about one with some of the best vintage styling ever draped over two doors and four tires? If the answer is a resounding "YES", this 1937 Ford Cabriolet is exactly the car you've been searching for! With its reliable Chevrolet V8, smooth automatic transmission and stunning Red on Sand color combination, this custom is an ideal classic for anyone who enjoys exploring the open road. If you're looking to add a little spice to your weekend routine, here's the perfect way to take Sunday drives to a whole new level! Assembled from the ground up, this awesome street rod's smooth and solid fuselage began life as high quality Downs fiberglass that was carefully molded, structured and streamlined into a top notch roadster. Once that resin completely cured, it was bathed in a vivid coat of brilliant red two-stage. And today, with nary a ripple or misaligned panel anywhere, this positively evil Ford mixes enough utility to hush old school skeptics with enough polish to be front row at the local car show! The beauty of a well-done custom is often found in the simplicity of its execution. In a nod to the hobby's old school hot rodding roots, the best cars are usually topped with a stripped down, all business body that emphasizes their purpose-built, high performance nature. So, when you craft a first class offering like this sweet '37 Ford, the best thing to do is let its original curves do the talking and simply enhance what's already there. Our enhancements begin with flowing fiberglass fenders, which center a billet grille between old school chrome-trimmed headlights. Behind that grille, a lightweight hood anchors smoked glass between small mirrors, billet heat extractors and a tan cloth top. Below that glass, shaved doors seal solid along smooth fiberglass running boards. Behind those boards, flush-fit tail lamps ride between a shaved decklid and polished exhaust tips. And overall, the car's clean build creates one cohesive classic that, despite significant customization, is both tasteful and easily recognized. In the auto enthusiast world, there are few bigger faux pas than something that promises performance but doesn't deliver. "It looks fast" just doesn't cut it with real car guys, so the old school flathead Ford that might traditionally power this drop-top has officially been swapped for a fully detailed GM LT1 V8. At the front of the low-profile mill, a modern serpentine system spins a polished alternator and polished AC compressor above a reusable filter element. Once air enters that filter, it flows through a bowtie-branded throttle body into a factory LT1 intake, which is bolted down over completely stock internals. High octane fossils are provided by a GM electronic fuel injection system. Sparks are sequenced through high performance Taylor plug wires. Spent gases are whisked away by a slick pair of ceramic-coated block hugger headers. And cooling comes courtesy of a heavy duty aluminum radiator that's complete with a quick-spinning electric puller fan. On the visual end of the spectrum, red injector covers and chrome valve covers nicely complement the car's bright exterior paint while covering the less attractive part of GM's block design. The glossy engine compartment has been completely jammed and detailed to match that bright exterior paint. And niceties such as braided hoses, trick dipsticks and a glossy clamshell hood add the kind of flash that starts conversations and wins fans. Naturally, this Ford's fully-finished body rides on a fully-boxed chassis that's been assembled to exacting standards. The proven LT1 torques a tough TH700R4 4-speed, which spins a familiar Ford 9-inch. That custom drivetrain pushes a road-ready suspension, which tracks a high quality Heidt's-style front-half with traditional leaf springs, tough lowering blocks and chrome Pete & Jake's shocks. Turns come courtesy of modern power rack-and-pinion steering. Quick stops are a cinch thanks to power-assisted discs at all four corners. At the center of the floor, 2.5-inch true-dual exhaust breathes through aluminized pipes and throaty Flowmaster mufflers. At the corners of the chassis, polished American Racing Torq Thrust IIs turn 205/45R16 Goodyear Eagle F1s in front of 235/60R17 Goodyear Eagle LS. And everything, from the car's floor-mounted brake booster to its beefy rear sway bar, is well-planned, well executed and ready to work its magic! Pop this roadster's lightweight doors and you'll find a custom leather interior that mixes comfort with simplicity. At ground level, Sand carpet weaves a thick cover beneath billet foot pedals, and piped and color-keyed floor mats. At the center of that carpet, leather-wrapped thrones appear to have been sourced from some of Detroit's more modern hardware. In front of those thrones, a body-matched dash sports a full array of VDO gauges. At the sides of that dash, custom door panels hang small power window switches between sculpted armrests and ergonomic handles. In front of the driver, a polished APC steering wheel spins around a polished and tilting column. And behind the cockpit, a surprisingly large trunk founds clean carpet in a Sand leather frame. INCLUDED WITH THE SALE IS THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTATIONCertificate of Manufacture It doesn't matter whether you're a Ford guy, Mopar guy or Chevy guy, this awesome Cabriolet is one of those cars that transcends barriers and claims universal appeal. How about one with some of the best vintage styling ever draped over two doors and four tires? If the answer is a resounding "YES", this 1937 Ford Coupe is exactly the car you've been searching for! With its reliable Chevrolet V8, smooth automatic transmission and rich black on tan color combination, this custom is an ideal classic for anyone who enjoys exploring the open road. If you're looking to add a little spice to your weekend routine, here's the perfect way to take Sunday drives to a whole new level! BODYWORK/TRIM With their wind-swept design and classic good looks, late-'30s Fords have always been highly desirable cars. Not surprisingly, gearheads, chop shops and 70 years' worth of dedicated fans have elevated them to one of hot rodding's greatest cultural icons. And this awesome coupe has, with the help of a thorough, frame-off restoration, been transformed into one super slick street rod. The car's build began with a complete tear down of its rock-solid fuselage. Once that fuselage's sinuous panels were massaged to near perfection, glossy black base was married to a thick layer of clear. And today, this sizzling classic is a fully sorted boulevard king that's likely caused more than its fair share of slackjaw stumbles and clumsily missed steps! The beauty of a well-done street rod is often found in the simplicity of its execution. Our enhancements begin with flowing fenders, which center a re-chromed NOS grille between modified headlamps and a chopped bumper. Behind that grille, a slender hood founds traditional ornamentation in front of tinted glass, small wipers and classy chrome frames. Below that glass, solid doors hang stylish handles and simple mirrors above vulcanized running boards. And behind those boards, a factory bumper reflects old school tail lamps and straight exhaust tips. ENGINE In the auto enthusiast world, there are few bigger faux pas than something that promises performance but doesn't deliver. "It looks fast" just doesn't cut it with real car guys, so the storied flathead that might traditionally power this coupe has officially been swapped for a 392 cubic inch Chevrolet small block. At the top of that big-bore mill, a polished Street & Performance ram jet mixes wind supplied by a small filter with fuel that's piped through modern electronic injection. That air/fuel mixture floods cast iron heads, which hang polished and milled valve covers over coated block hugger headers. At the back of those headers, what appears to be a traditional points distributor sequences spark through loomed Taylor plug wires. At the front of those wires, billet pulleys spin a polished alternator opposite a modern AC compressor. In front of that compressor, a beefy radiator circulates coolant around a big electric puller fan. And small items, like polished breathers, trick dipsticks, Lokar accelerator componentry and a Street & Performance pressure gauge, highlight the builder's acute attention to detail. DRIVETRAIN/SUSPENSION Bottom side, this Ford's fully finished body rides on a modern Total Cost Involved chassis that's been assembled to exacting standards. The proven small block torques a TPI Performance-branded 700R4 4-speed, which spins an LPW-branded 9-inch axle. That custom drivetrain pushes a familiar Mustang II front half opposite a polished 4-bar rear half. Turns come courtesy of modern power rack-and-pinion steering. Quick stops are a cinch thanks to polished, power-assisted calipers, which squeeze vented discs at all four corners. At the edges of the floor, 2.5-inch, true-dual exhaust breathes through coated pipes and throaty turbo mufflers. At the corners of the chassis, highly polished wheels turn 205/60R15 BF Goodrich Comp T/As in front of 275/60R17 BF Goodrich Comp T/As. And everything, from the car's finned transmission cooler and CVR starter to its braided fluid lines and polished stainless fuel tank, is well planned, well executed and ready to work its magic! INTERIOR Pop this coupe's lightweight doors and you'll find a clean leather interior that's much nicer than traditional factory fodder. At ground level, brown carpet weaves a thick cover beneath stainless-trimmed foot pedals and a polished hand brake. At the center of that carpet, a leather-wrapped Glide throne makes passengers feel like royalty. In front of that throne, a rich, wood-grain dash hangs a full array of Classic Instruments gauges beside Vintage Air climate control. At the sides of that dash, custom door panels sport contoured pulls and small, chrome handles. Above those panels, a leather headliner stretches tightly around modern Sony audio. In front of the driver, a banjo-style steering wheel spins a leather-wrapped rim around a polished tilt column. And behind the passengers, a surprisingly large trunk founds clean carpet in a plush leather frame. How about one with some of the best vintage styling ever draped over two doors and four tires? If the answer is a resounding "YES", this 1937 Ford Cabriolet is exactly the car you've been searching for! With its reliable GM V8, smooth automatic transmission and rich Burgundy on Beige color combination, this custom is an ideal classic for anyone who enjoys exploring the open road. If you're looking to add a little spice to your weekend routine, here's the perfect way to take Sunday drives to a whole new level! Assembled from the ground up, this drop-top's smooth and solid fuselage began life as high quality fiberglass that was carefully molded, structured and streamlined by Coast to Coast Street Rods. Once that resin completely cured, it was gifted a vivid coat of brilliant Diamont two-stage by Extreme Customs of Temperance, Michigan. And today, with nary a ripple or misaligned panel anywhere, this sophisticated Ford mixes enough utility to hush old school skeptics with enough polish to be front row at the local car show! Our enhancements begin with flowing fiberglass fenders, which center a chrome grille between chrome-trimmed combination headlamps. Behind that grille, a lightweight hood and hidden windshield wipers anchor clean glass between small mirrors and a retractable Rod Tops roof. Below that glass, shaved doors seal solid along smooth fiberglass running boards. Behind those boards, an electric decklid rides between Hagan 9-inch, flush-mount tail lamps. And overall, the car's clean build creates one cohesive classic that, despite significant customization, is both tasteful and easily recognized. In the auto enthusiast world, there are few bigger faux pas than something that promises performance but doesn't deliver. "It looks fast" just doesn't cut it with real car guys, so the old school flathead Ford that might traditionally power this drop-top has officially been swapped for a fully detailed GM LS1 V8. Utilizing aluminum construction, flat top pistons and coil-near-plug ignition, the efficient mill, donated by a 2004 Pontiac GTO, is conservatively rated at 350 horsepower and 365 lb./ft. of Kansas-flat torque. Aesthetically, GM's Corvette fuel rail covers have been augmented with a glossy combination of Burgundy and Beige two-stage. A low-profile, "LS1" branded air filter combines with a Street & Performance throttle body to feed factory-spec internals. There's a beefy aluminum radiator that's fitted with an efficient puller fan. EFI Inc. programming combines with braided fluid lines, trick dipsticks and AC Delco plug wires to add both form and function. And with one twist of the key, the engine zings to life, pulsing rhythmic notes through factory-spec manifolds. Naturally, this Ford's fully-finished body rides on a fully-boxed chassis that's been assembled to exacting standards. The proven LS1 torques a tough 4L60E 4-speed, which spins a familiar Ford 9-inch around 3.10 gears. That custom drivetrain pushes a fully adjustable Air Ride suspension. Turns come courtesy of modern power rack-and-pinion steering. Quick stops are a cinch thanks to a Corvette master cylinder, a 7-inch brake booster and 11-inch, GM-style discs at all four corners. At the center of the floor, 2.5-inch true-dual exhaust breathes through stainless pipes and throaty Magnaflow mufflers. At the corners of the chassis, polished Bonspeed Huntingtons turn 205/45ZR17 BF Goodrich g-Force T/As in front of 255/45ZR18 BF Goodrich g-Force T/As. And everything, from the car's stainless fluid lines to its stainless, 20-gallon fuel tank, is well-planned, well executed and ready to work its magic! Pop this roadster's lightweight doors and you'll find a clean leather interior that was professionally installed by Krist Kustoms of Fort Wayne, Indiana. At ground level, Beige carpet weaves a thick cover beneath Lokar foot pedals and color-keyed floor mats. At the center of that carpet, leather-wrapped thrones ride on removable seat risers. Between those thrones, a custom console hides controls for the car's Air Ride suspension behind billet power window switches and Hot Rod Air conditioning. In front of that console, a body-matched dash hangs a full array of Auto Meter gauges above a touchscreen, MP3-compatible Jensen CD/DVD player. At the sides of that dash, custom door panels sport contoured pulls and small, billet handles. In front of the driver, a polished and half-wrapped steering wheel spins around a tilting Flaming River column. Behind the cockpit, a surprisingly large trunk founds clean carpet in a billet and leather frame. And everything communicates thanks to American Autowire Highway 22 electronics. The sale of this classy cabriolet includes a small stack of component manuals. It doesn't matter whether you're a Ford guy, Mopar guy or Chevy guy, this custom transcends barriers and claims universal appeal. The car's great looks, great performance and great color combo all add up to a great cruiser that can be driven and enjoyed every day of the summer. Indulge as is, or tinker with it to make it sharper, either way you'll have a high value classic which enjoys excellent curb appeal! With a removable top, this Cabriolet just screams fun! As mentioned above, this car sports a reproduction body outfitted by Gibbon Fiberglass. That handsome finish you see is Ford Deep Jewel Green, and it is finished with custom airbrushed striping on the sides, and a custom 'V8' up front. The paint and finish on this car is absolutely stunning! The panels are smooth, the paint lays flat, gaps are even all around, and that green paint shines with a glossy flow. At the rear, the look has been customized with a pair of Studebaker taillights. The removable tan top adds a nice contrast, and the cloth remains fresh and clean. A screen grille bra keeps unwanted debris from passing through the electric fan, and body color matched bumpers keep the smooth, green theme finished in a tasteful manner. The whole aesthetics package is brought together with staggered, custom tan spoke wheels with chrome center caps wrapped in BF Goodrich Touring T/A rubber. Hit the remote to pop open the shaved doors, get comfortable in the plush leather bucket seats and you'll quickly realize this car was built to be driven and enjoyed. At first glance, you're greeted by a full tan leather interior that not only complements the green exterior very well, but is also comfortable enough for hours of driving. Passengers are welcomed with a Vintage Air heating and air conditioning system, power windows, and an AM/FM/CD player. The two-tone body matched and leather wrapped dash provides a pleasant view for the driver and front passenger. Along with the vents for the heating and A/C system, there are Classic Instruments gauges that keep tabs on voltage, water temp, oil pressure, fuel and vacuum. One more touch of comfort is the matching, tilting steering column that is topped by a 3 spoke, leather wrapped steering wheel. Powering this green beauty is a 289 cubic inch V8 that is finished off with a cool looking chrome dress-up kit. Upgraded with an Edelbrock carburetor, aluminum intake manifold, headers, dual exhaust and an electric fan, this Ford is ready for reliable cruising with a few more ponies to get you going. Those extra horses are transferred to a C-4 automatic transmission that spins a Ford 9'' rear end. That tilt column communicates with rack and pinion steering, while a Heidts suspension with coilover shocks makes sure the rubber stays to the road. Keeping things in check are disc brakes up front and drums in the rear. Equipped with some great hardware and a reliable powertrain, this 1937 Ford Cabriolet makes the perfect car to enjoy. It's clean, comfortable, and is just a blast to drive. If you're ready get out and enjoy the beautiful weather, this is the car for you. Hot rodding is about craftsmanship as much as anything, and this slick 1937 Ford phantom pickup not only has a great look but is also loaded with details that will make people line up for a closer look. V8 power, a state-of-the-art interior, and a few surprises underneath make it a show-stopper than can still haul cross-country with ease. By now you\'re familiar with the work that the guys at Downs Fiberglass do, and the phantom \'37 pickup is a vehicle that never really existed but could have. Using the beautiful art-deco nose of the passenger car and grafting on a well-proportioned bed, it becomes the best-looking truck Ford didn\'t build. Finished in blue over copper, it definitely has a modern look that gets attention. Fit and finish are impressive and with shaved door handles, hidden hinges, and a minimum of trim, the bodywork has to speak for itself. Period-proper details include the running boards and Model A taillights, not to mention those gorgeous teardrop-shaped headlights that define the 1937-38 Fords. The bed is indeed fully functional with a drop-down tailgate, but have a look inside and you\'ll find one of those trick details I was talking about: a Plexiglas floor that shows off the fully independent rear suspension and a custom stainless fuel tank. Cool, right? The sleek gray interior has OEM levels of fit and finish and a trick design that fits well with the phantom Ford\'s personality. Low-back buckets don\'t obscure the very cool split rear window and custom door panels echo the shape of the side windows and reveal the reinforcements inside the door for a touch of industrial tech. The dash wraps around and blends into the custom center console and extends into the window moldings, creating a cockpit that puts all the controls at your fingertips. The wood-rimmed wheel is an elegant piece that warms up the driver\'s compartment, and everything you\'d imagine is included, like A/C, power windows and locks, and a tilt steering column. Pretty Dolphin gauges are simple and clean and there\'s a powerful JVC AM/FM/CD stereo system with speakers throughout the interior that are designed to be seen as well as heard. This is one pro-built rod that looks amazing but remains fully functional and ready to cruise in comfort. For power, there\'s a fresh 350 cubic inch Chevy crate motor with only shakedown miles. An Edelbrock carb lives under the finned air cleaner and with matching valve covers, it has a traditional hi-po look. The engine is compact with a serpentine belt drive system to pull the accessories in tight to the block. Service access is still pretty good and the hardware is high-quality stuff so you can hit the road without a worry. A TH350 3-speed automatic transmission spins that trick Heidt\'s Ultra IRS rear suspension system. The fabricated chassis was painted to match the blue portions of the body with select shiny bits like the A-arms on the coil-over suspension and beautiful inboard rear disc brakes. 17-inch front and mammoth 20-inch rear American Racing wheels give it a wicked rake and wear 215/40/17 front and 275/40/20 rear performance radials. This stunning creation will stop traffic everywhere it goes, but is equally happy to run with it, too. For those of you who like being the center of attention, this is a tough act to follow. There are a lot of things to love about this 1937 ford pickup truck: the outrageous bodywork, the slippery Extreme Green paint, and the sumptuous leather-lined interior. It\'s also built to run with a smart-running small block V8, 4-wheel discs, and a smooth-riding suspension that makes it easy to forget this is a pickup. vehicles like this have always been called \"phantoms,\" as they\'re figments of a designer\'s imagination. Sure, Ford could have combined their passenger car nose with a pickup bed, but nothing coming out of Ford factories in 1937 looked anywhere near this cool. The Downs fiberglass body and steel bed work go quite well together to create something altogether unique, although the art-deco look of the \'37 Ford comes through loud and clear. A cool 3-window coupe vibe defines the cab and the split rear window treatment is especially trick, and who doesn\'t love the look of the sleek \'37 front end? Workmanship is extremely good thanks to lots of hand work on the bodywork and many hours spent on the PPG Extreme Green finish. Billet, chrome, and stainless trim dresses up the nose, while 1939 Ford LED taillights light up the rear. The fully functional bed includes handsome wood floor with stainless rub strips, as well as a concealed door for the fuel filler. The interior is beautifully made and wonderfully simple at the same time. Twin bucket seats wrapped in tan leather provide first-class seating for two, and in the sleek cabin, there\'s a surprising amount of room. The color-matched dash is full of white-faced VDO instruments framed by a matching tan leather steering wheel on a polished tilt column. Comfort and convenience features abound, and this is no ordinary pickup, so you get things like Vintage Air A/C, power windows, and remote door openers, not to mention a great-sounding AM/FM/CD stereo system. The custom-stitched carpets wrap around the floor shifter and billet pedals, giving it a very polished, OEM look, and that dash-mounted rear-view mirror probably isn\'t all that useful, but it sure looks trick! The engine is a 350 cubic inch Chevy V8 with an estimate 350 horsepower on tap. Now while that\'s plenty enough to be entertaining, it also means this truck is reliable and easy to service, so you can put it on the road without a second thought. The whole build has only 628 miles on it, so the engine is fresh and dressed to show. Lots of shiny billet aluminum and chrome, ranging from the air cleaner to the radiator to the accessory drive, and the smooth firewall provides the perfect background. It\'s backed by a TH350 3-speed automatic transmission feeding a Ford 9-inch rear hanging on a set of ladder bars and coilover shocks. The front suspension uses a custom crossmember, power rack-and-pinion steering, and tubular A-arms for support, as well as a second set of coilovers, so it really handles well. The custom dual exhaust system has turn downs just ahead of the rear wheels and there are big Wilwood disc brakes at all four corners. 17-inch Boss wheels look right and wear 205/45/17 front and 235/55/17 rear Nexen radials. A trick phantom Ford that certainly generates more than its fair share of attention, all at a price that\'s less than the cost of the build. Call today! Technology is wonderful. Take, for instance, this remarkable 1937 ford cabriolet, whose very body is the product of modern fiberglass techniques rather than ancient steam-powered presses. It\'s full of state-of-the-art entertainment and comfort systems, making it a thoroughly modern car that merely looks vintage. The body is by Gibbons Fiberglass, and fairly accurately captures the styling and sleek art-deco design of the 1937 Fords. Sure, it\'s been stretched here, sectioned there, and lowered all around, but there\'s no denying the Blue Oval DNA running through this car\'s veins. As a fiberglass piece, the sky\'s the limit in terms of modifications, so all the trim is gone, the grille is smoothly tapered into the fenders, and there are no pesky bumpers or door handles to deal with. Even the running boards are smooth and sleek. Working with fiberglass is easy and the results are spectacular here, with gorgeous black-over-pearl white paint that gives the Ford a very upscale look, like it\'s wearing a tuxedo. Finish quality is excellent and thanks to the sturdy construction of the high-quality Gibbons body, it feels substantial going down the road. Frenched \'39 Ford taillights, a nicely integrated high-mounted stop lamp, and a license plate frame with integral rear-view camera are just a few of the highlights out back. A lift-off top is finished in black Haartz canvas and gives the sleek convertible a slightly formal look and the tight seal of a coupe. Opulent is the only way to describe the beautifully crafted interior. Basically, you can consider the beautiful, striking bodywork as simply the packaging for what is one of the most amazing interiors we\'ve ever seen. Custom leather buckets are artfully stitched and sublimely comfortable, with every surface around them wrapped in pleasing materials and colors. The soothing white pearl dashboard is full of Dakota Digital instruments in a very cool billet panel, and features like Vintage Air A/C are included. The billet steering wheel is wrapped in matching cream leather, as is the headliner in the custom lift-off Carson hardtop. The centerpiece of the interior has to be the entertainment system, which incorporates a 1200-watt Miami audio stereo system with AM/FM/CD capability and a custom screen under the dash to manage it all, plus the aforementioned rear-view camera. The trunk is finished to the same standards and neatly incorporates the subwoofer in a custom enclosure that looks fantastic and works as advertised. The engine is a 355 cubic inch Chevy small block V8 that\'s built for comfort and reliability, as well as good looks. There\'s plenty of shiny billet aluminum and chrome, as well as color-matched componentry to keep with the car\'s overall theme. A big Walker aluminum radiator keeps it cool without effort, Edelbrock supplied the 4-barrel carburetor, and Sanderson headers feed a beautifully built custom stainless steel exhaust system. A Mustang II style front suspension with disc brakes means that it rides and handles like a modern car, and a heavy-duty TH400 3-speed automatic and 8-inch Ford rear end mean that breakage should be a non-issue. Everything underneath is, of course, color-matched as well, and those one-off Weld Racing wheels look spectacular wearing 215/45/17 front and 255/45/18 rear Dunlop performance radials. Sometimes standing out means simply doing it better than the next guy. Artfully finished and full of innovative features, this \'37 Ford delivers in every way that matters. Call today! Call today! This very pretty 1937 Ford Deluxe convertible sedan is probably the one to own if you like the sleek, art-deco look of the late \'30s Fords. Smooth flathead V8 power, those beautiful flush-mounted headlights, and the surprisingly practical yet extremely stylish 4-door convertible body style all make this a slam-dunk for the guy who loves style as well as substance. Ford only built a handful of these convertible sedans in 1937, but it\'s hard to understand why it wasn\'t more popular. Roll-up windows, four doors, and a top that goes down all make for a car that\'s great to drive no matter what the weather\'s doing. Finished in its original Adobe Tan, which was a popular color for Ford in the 1930s, it has a clean, sophisticated look that really shows well. The car has never had a huge frame-off restoration, but has been freshened as needed over the years, so the paint, while not perfect, has a great gloss and a soft sheen that\'s entirely appropriate to its age and the year in which it was built. Two versions of the convertible sedan were offered, the \"slantback\" and the \"humpback\" as in the case of this particular car. The humpback offers a larger trunk and an arguably more substantial look, and it only adds to the car\'s appeal for touring and trips. The chrome is a combination of restored and original parts, and it all looks pretty much the way you\'d expect for a car of this age, with nothing being too deteriorated or too perfect to stand out. Overall, this car looks exactly the way you\'d want your next tour car to look. The gorgeous brown leather interior was restored about three years ago and still looks amazing. Ford didn\'t skimp on the interiors of the cars on the high end of the price scale, and the comfortable leather bench seats look as inviting as you favorite easy chair. A beautiful banjo-style steering wheel, big round gauges with a gorgeous period look, and a nicely woodgrained dashboard all help with the upscale feel. This car is equipped with a very rare AM radio, and shockingly enough, it works! There\'s an impressive amount of stretch-out room in the back seat area, which also offers plus brown carpets for a luxurious feeling. As I said, the trunk is spacious enough for your next road trip, and there\'s also a matching spare tire, just in case. And despite the rumors of convertible sedan tops being difficult to operate, this one folds easily and stows beneath a matching tan canvas boot. Ford\'s awesome 221 cubic inch flathead V8 made 85 horsepower in 1937, and it endows this convertible sedan with a playful, energetic personality. Plenty torquey for around town, it happily cruises at 55 MPH and makes great sounds while doing it. It\'s tough to photograph down there in the engine bay, but you\'ll note that it uses a correct carburetor, cloth-wrapped ignition wires, and a generator up top, so it\'s pretty authentic. It starts easily and doesn\'t seem to suffer from the usual \"flathead fever\" that plagues neglected cars. The 3-speed manual transmission shifts easily with light clutch action, and for safety purposes, it appears that this V8 now uses hydraulic drum brakes all around. The driver-grade undercarriage means no worries about putting it on the road, and the gorgeous artillery-style wheels carry trim rings and wonderfully detailed hubcaps, along with recent 6.5-15 wide whites. If you love flathead Fords, a car like this has to be near the top of your wish list. And if you\'re just looking for a great old car, it\'s hard to do better than a machine like this. Call today! There are as many different ways to build a hot rod as there are hot rods in existence, but this 1937 Ford sedan shows a slick way to get modern comfort and convenience without having to reinvent the wheel. Using a complete Chevy S10 chassis, which is a neat fit under the little Ford, you get all the upgrades without a lot of backyard engineering. And the truth is, it flat-out works! The build was completed some years ago, but you\'d never know it by looking at the body. The glossy black paint is from the Lincoln color charts and looks excellent on the Ford body. Obviously, this car has been loved and properly maintained ever since it was completed. It\'s a four-door sedan, but the fastback profile looks sleek and cleverly masks the extra doors, and few cars are as attractive in any form as Ford\'s Art-Deco \'37s. None of the original sheetmetal was altered or cut for the build, so it looks quite stock, right down to the teardrop headlights and wrap-around grille that\'s painted black to match the body, just as it was in \'37. A few chrome bits provide contrast to all that black paint and the accessory fog lamps are a nice touch. In fact, if not for the big chrome wheels, you could probably fool 9 out of 10 people into thinking it was stock. Well, until you start it up, anyway. But we\'ll talk about the mechanicals later. The handsome interior keeps the Art-Deco theme alive and uses the original bench seats to achieve an old-fashioned vibe. The striped fabric is in excellent shape and works better than modern leather or tweed in a car of this vintage, and subtle door panels were stitched together to complement the seats. Original hardware, window moldings, and the dashboard are all part of the package. However, you will note that the S10 DNA shows through with a GM tilt steering column and wheel, factory S10 instruments that are all fully functional, and even OEM headlight switches and pedals. The integration is nicely done and while it won\'t\' fool anyone, the workmanship is seamless. Better still, thanks to using a complete chassis, things like the A/C work properly, the controls feel familiar, and the whole car just drives like it\'s supposed to. There\'s a modestly-sized trunk out back, which has been fully upholstered with black carpet and carries the battery box, too. To get the specs on this car, just look up an S10 pickup. From the 4.3 liter V6 (which is 2/3 of a small block V8, by the way) to the suspension and brakes, it has a highly polished, OEM feel. The brawny V6 is a tight fit in the pointed engine competent, but thanks to some careful engineering, it fits and there\'s decent service access, too. Factory fuel injection means it always starts right up and thanks to the 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission, it actually pulls down decent fuel economy, too (I bet the Ford is at least as aerodynamic as the S10). All the undercarriage components, including the gas tank, brakes, and rear end are S10 so parts and service are easy to find, and the custom exhaust system gives it a great sound that\'s one part hot rod and one part modern tech. Custom 15-inch chrome artillery wheels with V8 hubcaps are a nice touch and they carry wide whitewall radials that ride and handle great. A very neat Ford with a cool Chevy secret. Fully engineered and ready to drive anywhere, it\'s a different route to a familiar destination. Call today! This vehicle is located in our Dallas/Fort Worth showroom. Covered in a beautiful green finish on a fiberblass Gibbon\'s body and powered by a 289 cubic inch V8, this 1937 Ford Cabriolet makes the complete package for the hobbyist looking to get into something a little different without sacrificing comfort or convenience. With a removable top, this Cabriolet just screams fun! As mentioned above, this car sports a reproduction body outfitted by Gibbon Fiberglass. That handsome finish you see is Ford Deep Jewel Green, and it is finished with custom airbrushed striping on the sides, and a custom \'V8\' up front. Hit the remote to pop open the shaved doors, get comfortable in the plush leather bucket seats and you\'ll quickly realize this car was built to be driven and enjoyed. At first glance, you\'re greeted by a full tan leather interior that not only complements the green exterior very well, but is also comfortable enough for hours of driving. Those extra horses are transferred to a C-4 automatic transmission that spins a Ford 9\'\' rear end. Keeping things in check are disc brakes up front and drums in the rear. Equipped with some great hardware and a reliable powertrain, this 1937 Ford Cabriolet makes the perfect car to enjoy.
