The P4 Deluxe Plymouth for 1937 brought to market an impressive combination of innovation and economy. The \'37 Plymouths featured an all-steel body with sound buffering insulation around the interior compartment. The running gear was upgraded with hydraulic brakes and rugged shock absorbers that provided a smooth, safe and quiet ride, especially compared to the rival Ford Model 68\'s, which were a year or two behind Plymouth for such features.
